Hit #300 at Movie Park Germany Sunday, June 29, 2008 "The Backyardigans Mission To Mars" (One of the longest names for a coaster of any size, I've seen so far, lol.) Currently at #332... Closer in, showing that all-important "milestone", heh heh. The long shot - missed getting the coaster itself in, darnit.

I was listening and wondering... Does anybody else have a copy of the two-disc 5th Anniversary cd package of Broadway's Wicked? And what do you think of the second disc, included as a bonus to the original cast recording? I have thoroughly enjoyed the second disc, with re-mixes of the Broadway songs and also using other great "Elphabas," who followed the wonderful Idina Menzel; and two tracks each, from the German and Japan productions of the musical. Fascinating to listen to these versions, not knowing the language itself, but knowing what the lyrics are, in English. Fun, actually, lol! Thought I would ask, since I do enjoy listening to the original show, from time to time. Quite the package with nice new anniversary 'notes' from Stephen Schwartz.

Mmmm. Your showing all the stuff about taking the Tokyo transit just makes me all wistful and "runny" inside, lol. I was there on TPR's Japan Tour back in Sept.2007 and your photos brought back all the stuff I remember watching and looking at when it came to riding the trains, etc. In the station, trackside waiting for the train(s) to arrive, those lineup markings on the platforms... I miss it. And thanks for showing everything as you're seeing it. Great stuff.

The only reason my home park has lasted as long as it has. If it weren't for Coaster..... It's still one of my favorites, and in my (literal) "back yard", too!

Dinner for my partner's birthday, today. We went to one of our fave local eats, Havana. $87 It was yummy.

Patience, patience... Actually, I'm happy and surprised and thrilled that this is all happening in my lifetime. It is amazing how slowly and methodically, things eventually - do ... happen.

That's too bad. We were really hoping it'd be open when several of us went to Toshimaen on our last morning of the TPR Japan tour, in 2007. But it wasn't, unfortunately. Oh well. "Another one bites the dust."
