  1. Love the unpainted plywood at the end, coming back into the station... The ultra-slow braking looks a bit much. But hey - it's a New Credit! Looking forward to riding it in June.
  2. I thought it was pretty sad that these people had to act like bulldozers, just because they arrived at the same time, at the clue box(es). Gotta get that clue first, huh? He could have let her go first. Or she could have let him go first. But they both decided that physical blocking was the best course of action, to save what? Two seconds (or less) between getting the clues out of the box? And Luke is whining and complaining just as much as (most) everybody else, is. Well boo hoo, get over it, try to act like adults, and get on with The Race.
  3. ^ And in the "Talk About Timing Dept.": one of our local theatre companies is mounting a production of Les Miz, starting mid-May. Since Ms. Boyle's sudden celebrity along with the song she chose to sing, the % of ticket sales for the show have also shot up quite a bit, heh heh. Who knew?
  4. Walls Fall Down Bedouin Soundclash
  5. It looks like I finally got my weight down below the 190 mark! After three months of stationary bike riding and watching what I eat every day. So that's nearly 20 lb. off, since my initial "Winter Gain", lol.
  6. Groceries this morning. $52.62 ...and 175 AirMiles collected! (This helps for my flights to future TPR tours, lol)
  7. And in other worldwide entertainment news.... Madonna falls off a horse.
  8. I'm making corn bread in my bread machine right now as I post this!
  9. I'm finally on my way...
  10. Um..... oh..... uh...I think you can use your imagination, Brian... Yes? No? Maybe? Poor Hannah Montana.
  11. Ugh. That was nasty-looking. Glad to read it didn't turn out worse... so far.
  12. Oh, I do hope hope hope this is open and running when the TPR Scandi tour hits town, lol!
  13. Looks like a great way to spend a day at Disney. Wish I lived closer. Much closer, lol. Best Wishes to its being a great success this year, for all involved. (Edit to add I looooove the trophy! )
  14. Missing Europa. Missing Hotel Colosseo. Missing ... everything else there, too. Thanks for the great pix, Hanno. It all still looks great there.
  15. It's amazing how changed in themeing the back area of the park is going to look... But (most of) the good old flats'll remain the same, LOL! Thanks for showing the ongoing work there. Wishing and hoping I'll be able to make a return visit - some year.
  16. Great TR about something I never knew existed, until now. And Razzle Dazzle definitely qualifies to become Bench: The Ride as far as I can see it, lol.
  17. Asparagus for a buck a bunch!
  18. Did you try any "interesting" theme park food while there, Mike? I have no idea what local cuisine could or would be a part of the park, but I thought I'd ask.
  19. Just found out. To be released June 2/09, Amazon.com - Have heard and read great stuff about TSoMF (though sadly, an all-too- short run), and 'interesting' crtiques of WSS with the new latin (spanish?)here and there, in dialogue and song. So - these two new releases and an already-released (gotta love Toxic!) one waiting for me after I return home from the TPR Scandi Tour.... (Edit to include my getting "Toxic", too. Mmmm.... toxic waste materialsss...) With dialogue and lyrics latin-ized here and there, by Lin-Manuel Haranda of "In The Heights" Tony success. Got (I thought) good reviews, but wha'happen? Closed in less than a week. )o: Good news, we still get the score. (o: Mmmmm toxic sludge. One of the very few Off-Broadway cds I ever buy. This one's up there with "Bat Boy" and "Little Shop of Horrors" I've heard and read, lol.
  20. ^ Hey, ya can't please everybody, hmm? Garlic mayo - mmmmm. And I wonder if the writers are going to give Hurley more iconic not-yet-made (in their timeline) movie references in any future eps? The Matrix, or Lord of the Rings, perhaps?
  21. At the end of it, all I remember thinking (as I smiled wide) was... Good for her - good for her. And I even teared up near the end. To me it felt like a very emotional little mini-comedy/drama/epic triumphant, all bundled up for us to enjoy again and again. Again - good for her. She earned it. Hope she get$ a bundle from all of thi$.
  22. Nice to see Daniel finally show up, lol.
  23. ^ Heh heh. I agree with you on that. Thanks.
  24. Woo hoo!!! Got my tax refund back today in the mail... And they gave me nearly $200 more than I had figured out, with explanantion as to what I should have done, etc. etc.
