  1. ^ Nope - Try #1 - didn't work. Patience. In time. Will happen. Doo dah.
  2. Hey, some really great shots you took in Toverland. I love that park, and marvel how they've expanded "outside the box". (EDIT to add: Camera work is great, by the way. And I Grape Fanta!)
  3. I see...... "many many herrings" in Ice Bat's future.
  4. Sunday Cocktails Hour!
  5. Oops - I took it from the sub-title under the title, lol. Well then - must wait for October, huh?
  6. Let's see - these all seem like the wrong reasons for doing it, but... I did the SCAD Tower in the 2009 Scandi Tour. I (finally) did a Skycoaster on 2013 Mexico Tour. I did Blue Fall on the 2007,'11,'13 Japan Tours. And since I wouldn't have to do anything else, except just get up there and be up there... Should be an easy one. (The Star Flyer should be fun, too.)
  7. All hail ICE BAT - Ruler of the Scad Tower! Happy 5th.
  8. Tokyo Disney Sea....and Europa. Why? I mean....why not? Have the whole of Europa surrounding Disney Sea, that's in the middle. The volcano sticking out of the entire set up.
  9. ^ Everything looked wonderful! Gawd, I love the world of food!
  10. Good. Something to go back to Yomuiri Land for.
  11. David made this wonderful dinner last night, with the main course being a pork tenderloin, all wrapped up in Bacon! Of course, i couldn't resist snapping a few pix of the process and finished dish. Yum. A "tube of bacon" around the tenderloin. Some fry pan cooking, before glazing and into the oven. Then the glaze all over it. He wouldn't tell me what was in the glaze, the bastard! (o; Into the oven. And out of the oven. Nice and crispy on top. Mmmm. And - it's ready to serve! Bon Appetit!
  12. So, just before I start "Show & Telling" all about the SOUVENIRS I got on the tour next week - and yes Chuck, I outdid myself on this one - here's a few last photos of the tour, that David took, and I liked. A lovely shot he took of Eejanaika, taken from our turn on the Sky Wheel in Fuji-Q park. David's fave colour is purple. And Disney Sea supplied that colour admirably. A real artsy farsty shot of Lava Monster in Journey. Still awesome to see, visit after visit. This is the first shot David actually got, of Mt.Prometheus belching a good one.
  13. I loved the Yu Garden, and wished we could have stayed a few minutes more. So much was packed into that area, and yet it was spread out so beautifully.
  14. can't sleep need sleep ick
  15. My all-time personal record is still 3+ hours for Eejanaika at Fuji-Q, in 2007. Every other train (it seemed) kept being changed. And it just took - for - e - ver to load and unload each train. We actually (thank you Robb & Elissa!) extended our leaving time for an hour, so those of us still in line could get at least one ride on it. And we did. It goes for all three: Longest, Slowest, Worst. (EDIT To add: I checked back through here and found that I had indeed, said the same thing back in 2008. Page 24. With the addition of nearly two hours for Dondopna and that infernal bass booming "theme". Ugh. And that post was over four years ago.) Me, Mike and Peter in a more happier time - before our first hour had passed.
  16. kerplunk.
  17. ^ That is a very cool commercial!
  18. ^^^ The conversion was really good IMhO, so that 1000 Yen was literally $10 Cdn, at that time. And there are so many good places in both parks to get everything from flavoured popcorn, to full meals, and everything else in between to snack on. We didn't do any table service restaurants in either park, sorry. I still want to do that buffet (Sailing Day Buffet) in Disney Sea, heh heh. ^^ Yeah, I knew that they varied their Single Rider queues depending on the season and the theme currently happening at the parks. I must say, though, in the three times I have been to the Tokyo Disney Resort, three Single Rider Line queues always existed: Splash Mountain in DL, and Raging Spirits and Indy in TDS. I do remember a Single Riders line opening up (from time to time) at Journey and definitely one at Tower of Terror. All in the timing of the visit, hmm? ^ Do a TPR Japan Tour! Robb and Elissa (as well as most of the rest of us) are in with Japan, and the tours seem to be happening every one-two years now. So start saving up and you're sure of an amazingly awesome time in Japan! Here's a photo I took of Raging Spirits, then totally forgot to transfer it to my trip folders! I loved the purple crawling all over it, as well as the dark red light on the ride's tracks.
  19. Just sayin' but it could be a killer whale, hmm? And that ray over the entrance... Wow. Awesome. Impressive.
  20. New maze for 2014! "Robb's Personal Hell" ("It's like being at home with the wife")
  21. And here's the rest of the on-ride photos, mostly at DIsney resort, with one other photo from Fuji-Q, I am most fond of..... Indy first. The whole thing, with the photo. And Indy has a Single Riders Line, too! Raging Spirits as well, and Tower of Terror from time to time, although not advertised on the park maps Close-up on all of us in the jeep. And WTF is that kid doing behind us??? Then there's the wet one. The only attraction in Tokyo Disneyland (I believe still) that has the Single Rider line. The whole thing. Close up on us. I love the packaging of this on-ride pic! The whole thing. Going.....down? Us. Reacting. Golden. Takabisha in Fuji-Q has a lovely on-ride photo display card. Open, the whole thing. Our close up. And don't Elissa and I look OMG excited about riding Takabisha? Group shot of the back of the photo holders.
