  1. PLOT TWIST: This is what you were going to post here.
  2. ^Awwww.
  3. I do miss the original stuff. And I'm glad I got to visit EPCOT that way, back in 1987, and 1991.
  4. This photo's mine, from the 2011 TPR Tour. It looked so seedy, poking up above the trees, while we glided by on our Pegasus-O-Rail. Had to ride it, lol! So ordinary looking, like a clown should be, yes?
  5. Here's my partner David ®, and myself (l) in a "Loading Station Pic," lol. On the Surf Coaster in Sea Paradise Park, Japan. Here we are - ready for a bunch of helixes . And it's a fridge magnet, too!
  6. "Why Can't I?" sung by Carolee Carmello Am starting to finally listen to the cd cast recording of "Scandalous" the Aimee Semple musical, penned by....Kathie Lee Gifford??! Did anybody see this musical, in it's short life, last season? (curious) What did you think of it? And her? Carolee Carmela apparently really carried the show. Definitely worth the TONY nomination, I heard.
  7. The Lovecats The Cure
  8. "Cats in Disney Sea! No darnit, not The Musical..." C - the third letter of the alphabet, a number that I find as good luck in any form or combination. So here it is - The Three C's - Clam-shaped Sandies; Cats in the Landscape; Cafe Portofino... After I met up with David, we went for something to eat, and I had already looked at the menu at Sebastion's Calypso Kitchen in Mermaid lagoon. We had some nice sandwiches (with shell shaped bread!) there, and then continued toruing around the back of the park. We did re-rides on "Raging Spirits", but as Single Riders, so David was essentially "on his own" for this one. And he survived, heh heh! I was so proud of him.... Back to the mountain and another "Journey" followed by another undersea adventure, thanks to "20K". A stop for beverages, and then eventually working our way back to the front of the park, particularly the Cafe Portofino, which offered a great selection of chicken and pasta dishes. And Italian beers as well. One of which I did - not - like. I just found it too "sour" for my tastes, if such a description exists for beer. But I was able to find something else, that I had had in another part of the park. Whew! We settled on the outside patio table area of Portofino, with food and drink to enjoy, and people watch, and volcano watching for fire burps, from hour to hour. And when we were close to our last FastPass, we headed back to "Jouney," enjoyed it one more time, then came back to ou patio table, which was still pretty empty. I also missed taping a sudden downpour that happened when we were eating! It only lasted for several minutes, but still. It would have made a great little video, lol. So now, we're back at Cafe Portofino, just having drinks now, and waiting and hoping that "Fantasmic" will be a 'go' that evening. Happily, it was.... For our afternoon meal, this was the menu at Sebastion's Calypso Kitchen in Mermaid Lagoon. A few examples (I love Japanese fake food!) of the menu. But we were interested in the pork sandwich, so we both went with that. Voila - "Dinner is Served" - oops wrong movie.... Great shape of the sandwiches! Always adding to the theme, even small things like this, is what Disney does best. (And the sandwich was awesome, too!) A nice plant arrangement, outside along a path. It says.... "Trust With No Stain". Perhaps for a laundry detergent? Awww, Goofy is still not getting the fan-love he deserves! Score one for Single Riding! David is happy..and still alive he finds, lol. Something nice and cool, back at Base Camp Grill. And look - new headband! And look! Cats! A mother and her two kittens were wandering around the landscaping between Raging Spirits and Base Camp Grill. They hung around, and so did a small group of us kitty stalkers, lol. I'm sure these three are getting a better deal, than the ones in Disneyland, lol! So much landscaping to get lost in, here. These are the two little runts. Never keeping still enough for a pose, heh. Exploring all around... except near us. Another shot of Mermaid Lagoon. Mmmmm I love the view of this, daytime and night time. Before we hit Journey, I get my usual TDS visit photo, taken with my buddy here. And he's always there! And this is it - the best pic David could get of our Fave Monster in all of The Disney Kingdom. (IMhO) And still not happy with us being there.... (DbM) Beautiful lighting effects in the cavern entry area of "Journey". Some nice plantings in pots, on our way to Cafe Portofino. This is what your first see, when you enter the Cafe. But we went for pasta dishes instead, with seafood. And drinks. Unfortunately, my first Italian beer was not a hit. So I changed to something else, that other parts of the park, were selling as well. Ooops - I totally forgot The Food Shot with this one! It was so delish and by my third beer...well, here's the end of it.
  9. ^ Well, I thought they had changed it to a more rock musical themed show. Something like "Food Rocks!"? But I never saw it. And I don't know if they did remove it or not. My last visit there was.....1991. So... I "miss it" in it's original form.
  10. "Veggie fruit fruit, veggie veggie fruit fruit!" EDIT: I remember! "Kitchen Kabaret" in the Land Pavilion.
  11. ^^ Great! Good buy, Chuck. One of the best souvenirs, in that gift shop, I ever found. I got that little statue during the 2011 visit there. And I noticed on this tour t hey were still stocking it in the ToT gift shop. So, I got the t-shirt, pen, and small figure on a chain, instead. (Coming up in my SOUVENIRS Haul post, natch. )
  12. It would be interesting if Kentucky Kingdom does get the first Mega Lite in the US. Didn't they also have the first SLC in the country too, the one called T2? I rode that back in 1995 when it was all red and shiny new.
  13. Ahoy mateys! 'Tis time, 'tis time to gather yer wits, don't be twits, watch yer arrrrrrrrrrrs, and speak as befittin' the scalywags that ye arrr. Ain't I cute, m' dearies?
  14. I knew I'd seen something like this somewhere... Bacon bandages! "Heal With Meat." Wonder what the free prize inside was...
  15. I forgot what I was going to post here.
  16. There is no such thing as "too many pictures of" Disney Sea. Some really beautiful shots you took there Chuck, especially some of the night ones. I definitely loved that overhead shot of Nautilus, with the underwater lights around it. Great TR Chuck! Thanks for sharing all of what you saw and did. But - no souvenirs?
  17. ^ Thanks Neil, you're welcome! After strolling through Mermaid Lagoon, I took a ride on the Transit Steamer boat, full circle ride from the dock in Cape Cod, and took a few "from the water" shots during the trip. I then took myself to Pier 33 for a breather and a beverage concoction most interesting,.."The Orange Cocktail". Basically it was just beer and an orange flavouring, but for myself, very quenching during the start of the afternoon there. After the cocktail break, I met up with David for the rest of our day there. Aquatopia Shot #1 Aquatopia Shot #2 Another look at the Cape Cod area of the park. Mickey and me seem to disagree, as to who should be at the steering wheel. The Mouse won, of course. On the Steamer boat, there was this Really Into It Duffy Fan. He spent a lot of time, during the sailing, posing and snapping pic after pic of the lovely....uh.... couple. The dock crew member seems amused by it. Here's a few shots, taken from the Transit Steamer boat. Mermaid Lagoon. The Nautilus, docked in Mysterious Island (Vulcania). Heading out into Mediterranean Harbour. Magellan's Fortress. A photo taken from one of the uncrowded spots in the park And just in front there, with ToT in back... Pier 33! A favourite number of mine, doubled! The beer drinks board at Barnacle Bill's. I noticed this special cocktail was only available during the park's Summer Festival celebrations, just starting up while we were there. And THIS is what the Beer Cocktail (Orange) looks like. Tasted okay. Nothing overdone to make me gag and spit it out, LOL! Mt.Prometheus, looking it's best. Then we were back at our dock. Great full circle tour of the park! Everyone should try it at least once.
  18. MINI JONE$ Toy Story? I'm sure that this new name will easily escape the Disney's lawyers' eyes, lol. Great TR. Looks like you and your family had a very good time there.
  19. Something tangy and zippy.
  20. I also think more parks anywhere should get one of those Mad House/Haunted Swing attractions! I love these things, even the simpler ones, like this one at Tobu Zoo. And I still want one for my back yard.
  21. LOL I knew that, Jon. And yes, Robb and Elissa are always up to date with new coasters even I haven't heard about yet, lol.
  22. Well to you! By the way Jon ^^, what is the Bf's cat's name?
  23. This is a very obscure Bucket List item. But... I want to live long enough to see (and ride!) whatever they put in the currently big un-used corner of Tokyo Disney Sea! It's located between Port Discovery and the Lost River Delta sections of the park. Who can tell, how long from now? But it's a big space, worthy of something like Expedition:Everest, etc. I'm hopin' What the space looks like from the monorail going around it, before getting to TDS Station. Here's what it looks like, inside the park. So much space. So many possibilities. (o:
  24. Day 4 at TDLR... Hopping from TDL to TDS. So after Star Tours 2 was ridden, I took a look at the Standby Queue time for Monsters Hide and Go Seek (2 hours?!!), and decided that was enough and headed over to Disney Sea. Toured around the park, took in some quiet spots I hadn't seen before, like around the lighthouse overseeing the Cape Cod area of American Waterfront, and a walk through of Mermaid Lagoon, checking out the Calypso Kitchen for a possible lunch break, with David. And on through the late morning, before meeting up with David in the afternoon... So after leaving Star Tours 2, I took a shot of the crowds queueing for the Monster's Inc. ride. Eek. Eek indeed. And this was just after 0930 in the morning! I didn't bother hanging around for a re-ride. Next visit. A last look at the castle before leaving the park. Note to theme park CD buyers! This was The Place in TDL, to find practically every CD available, in BOTH parks! The monorail from TDL, to TDS goes around this upper corner of the park, which is basically being used for growing trees and shrubbery. But - it's a big space, eventually getting something put there. Hope I'm around when it happens, heh heh. Here's how that spot looks like, from the inside of the park, between Port Discovery and the Lost River Delta. I think is is going on my Bucket List: Going on whatever they eventually plan for this area. (o: Here's hoping... So, back inside where I am happy the most. One of these future visits, I would like to just tour around the ship. Looks so natural. Cape Cod with an active volcano behind it, LOL! One of the Transit Steamer Line boats, chugging past the lighthouse in Cape Cod. BFF - if you can see them in that colourful Kimono Mash-up, heh. Looking over to the Arabian Coast, in the park. Really amazing that Tokyo Disneyland sits (literally) right behind this section of TDS And here's my walk though Mermaid Lagoon, with the spinning Kelp Cups in front. The Jumpin' Jellyfish ride. Yeah, I rode the Jumpin'Jellyfish. Got a couple of overhead (ha) shots. Just love all the lighting and themeing of this 'land'. Nothing like it. And of course, souvenir browsing/buying in the Sleepy Whale Shoppe.
  25. I think there was another toilet within a mass market of street vendors... and a mad mouse for us to ride. Betty and I headed for the same building, and apparently she nearly threw up, in the women's. I myself couldn't stand the stench in men's any more, when I tried to take a photo of how awful it all looked. This one I feel was much worse than any previously mentioned toilets, lol Oh and It was tasty, too!
