Efteling. For all of the above reasons. And... lots of lush landscaping to enjoy, several merry-o-rounds in the park, including one indoors, with some great diorama displays, as well. Thrill rides, and family rides all over. Here's that indoor merry-go-round (and dioramas) in Efteling Park.

~ So, This Is (near) The End, My Friends ~ So, after all of that, the constant question I get asked by the people I do TPR tours with... "Where the heck do you put it all, year after year, tour after tour?" The short answer is, we have a great big house and I thank the timing in our getting it, to have it now in these economic unbalanced (sometimes) times. And as I have said before, I try to look for souvenirs that are practical and 'useable' in some way or function. There will always be the "dust collectors" (Capsule Machines!), but I do my best to make sure it all fits here, somehow. So, here's where some of the stuff has gone... As I showed before, a good number of the new capsule 'things' ended up on top of the power tower for the computer. Very "nearby" lol. The nice little Eye Scream Shop (right) that Lauren and Matt gave me, ended up in my "Scooby Doo & the Ghost" window scene. The new Food Eracers cards ended up mingling with the first ones I got in 2011. My new heftier second mug rack is where recent park mugs have gone, like the new one for TDLR (middle-right), beside the HKDL (middle-two). And Disney Paris' below them all. The new Pooh Candy container sits in the daylight, I can see from my pc every day, all day. The smaller "expresso" cups are stacked in a kitchen window. TDLR's 30th anny on top. Six different TPR tours' cups on display there. (o; Here's a game - the newly gotten Hokkaido Onion coaster (left) is beside a coaster from the theme park past. Where is it from? Clue: It's over 25 years old! And those small character stuffies?..... Well, every once in a great while, I catch them....... In their own cute little orgy. Awwwwwww. I can never figure out who starts it, too. I get the feeling that Chiquita is "in charge" but we'll never know, really. And after all that, we also got our postman friend, to change that finger - just a wee bit there. Whew! And him and paper globe are on our mantle piece, thank you Kathryn, Maria and Michael!

Still hasn't changed. But to add: any park that has pinball machines, get's my awesome approval, too! I got from Skee Ball! Linnanmaki Group Pinball Shot! A really fun last day to the 2009 Scandi Tour.

My only visit there, that TPR tour in 2008, has me remembering enjoying the VINARIUM, and the free wine sample, souvenir glass, etc. Thanks for sharing your latest visit there! The wine was good, too - as was the whole park! (o:
