  1. Hee hee - just got a new plastic glass by way of a TPR "CarePackage Bag-O-Crap"! I got it early this morning, amongst "a few other things" in the box. It was part of a TPR sponsored Bash in 2012 at Six Flags Georgia. Cool! And just an add-on note here. If I get the odd new cup, mug, glass, etc.in any upcoming tours (Hello Scandi!) I will be sure to post about it/them here. And if any of you have any of this stuff in your theme park collection(s), please join in and share them! That being said, I changed the name of the thread to make it more ongoing. It's really nice with a cobalt blue inner part. And "45 Thrilling Years" (back then), on the bottom of it, there. Bash! Inside of it. Thanks TPR!
  2. (And I promise, I won't tell anybody.)
  3. Just heard the US gold hopeful in men's snowboard (or something like that?) just backed out. I hope this isn't a precursor to a Major Accident happening there.
  4. EDIT To Add: I immediately put the Mickey Mouse Cap upstairs with the "Current Cap Collection." And the little Bee and Mushroom I got have found their way to my TPR Donkey and cart. It's on the right there, on top of the HKDL-GrizzlyGulch cap, with all the ears across the top. And about 20 (or so) more older caps, are packed away in the cedar chest. (o: Mushroom gets a ride from donkey. Bee just hangs out.
  5. wowowowowowoWOW! Just opened the package up, and the first thing I spotted (SQUEEEL!) was that Mickey Mouse Cap from WDW with the (ahem) "Fantasyland Overlay" lol! Very cool, thank you. And a pair of Socks, too! Now that's random! And lots of stuff - paper, plastic, cloth and...undetermined. So, here's a rough run through (and all over) in photos of everything I got. And Robb, Elissa and TPR, thanks so much for all of this. I love it all! Package takes a rest, before I rip it open and generally destroy it! That All-Important Label of Class & Artistry Pulling it all out of the box. Ooooo whats that, on top? A bit later.... All in a heap, that's how it started out. And I see SOCKS! The cap! The 'overlay'! I love it! How it all goes together. Has this been done before, or was the new Fantasyland overlay the first one done? Bit more cleared up. Buttons, Club TPR swag, rain poncho, cooling cloth, flat magnets, drinking glass...outstanding! And these two little....things. I suspect the one on the right is from a Japan Capsule Machine, but the one on the left? Not too sure... T-SHIRTS! 2012 China Tour, Goldstriker Opening, YOLO!, and WCB 2013! Awesome! Now I can pretend was there last year, for all of it! (o; Stack of maps. A bit more organized (ha). Some I can't read. (Is that an Arabic one on far left there?) Others I know too well (Disney!). And everything in between. Theme Park Maps = Happiness. Closer look at the TPR themed and co-sponsored stuff. Now - if I don't win that upcoming Scandi Tour Grand Prix...can I wear this on the rest of the tour? Plplplease? Ah John Carter, I hardly knew ye. Or even saw the movie, either. And I bet the Vinylmation has done better in sales than the movie did, LOL! Close up on the glass and the cooling towel. And a brand new (I love red!) TPR bag with Coaster Expedition Vol.14 dvd, thank you! THANK YOU TPR!
  6. I use Kayak too. Works fine for what I want.
  7. ^ That's not nice of them. Of course, I was suspecting Canada Customs was holding mine up for the same reason...import duties. But - they didn't - and it ARRIVED Ten Minutes Ago! I have things to do soon though, so I will hold off opening 'it' until this afternoon. For now - Thankyou TPR! Here it is, safe and sound in my rocker recliner chair. Received at 10:45 am PST. (o:
  8. They will probably also have a Preview Center there as well, so they could sell the park with artwork, models, etc. And sell advance tickets/passes, lol.
  9. I looked at the video of MM earlier, Martin. And I thought it was really the best POV of the attraction I have see so far. Great! And I miss Chef Mickeys. Great buffet, breakfast and dinner.
  10. They have never advertised ToT or Journey for Single Riders. It's just hit and miss, and when they think it's applicable at the time. But Indy and Raging are the two they do put on the map about SRL.
  11. ^ Great! I wish I could be there to go through/on them.
  12. You should all respond to this question..... "No, only in Vancouver, Canada."* Worth a try, I'd say. *(The corkscrew station and some track used in the movie was ours, at Playland.)
  13. ^^ If you photo shopped the pole out, then tinted the fog a bit purple... The "Once Upon A Time" Curse strikes again!
  14. I saw this Electrical parade back in the TPR 2011 Japan Tour. I was fairly far away, up near the World Bazaar, watching it, but i swear the floats looked HUGE even from that far away. And the whole parade was great. From beginning to finish. And I am glad you used the Single Riders Line for Splash. It's so odd that this is the only attraction in TDL with one. And Disney Sea has what? Two? (3-4 with ToT or Journey, sometimes. Great shots - and enjoying your tour, more, more more!
  15. Hmmm. Several possibilities with this one... The brakes are shot, and they can't stop the coaster. He is having a Major Anxiety Attack. He is having the locker scared out of him. He just likes to cry. On any coaster/flat. Pick one of The Above. Or make up your own caption!
  16. Um, no dark rides at all?
  17. ^ Maybe into a traditional Burning Pyre? Good tour shots, by the way. Looks like you all had a great time there.
  18. ^ And I believe they're going to put in a clone of the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster, too So, that'll be two coasters at least, in the park. And judging from what I have seen of the "park map", the mine coaster won't be able to be walked around, like in WDW's MK. So there might be a lot more theming and "mountains and mines" to this one, too. To the right there, in FantasyLand. Probable/possible Dwarfs Mine Coaster.
  19. Whew! and Woo Hoo! The ticket packages finally became available today for the 2014-15 Tour Season, here in Vancouver. And although "Flashdance" is not one of the musicals I would be interested in seeing, separate from this, The Main Reason for buying the two-show package (yeah it's that little a '"season" lol), was The Book of Mormon! But we'll not be seeing it till (gulp) April 8, 2015! Yes, it's that far away. Ticket packages were actually not that bad, either. Just over a $100 per seat, Ctre Orch. Still - happy, happy, joy joy. "Wicked" was also coming back this late May, so I got myself a ticket for that, too. Going to it just one week before taking off for Copenhagen, and the 2014 TPR Scandi Tour!
  20. Ah yes, who could forget those rubber bands. Part of the Parque Espana Experience, lol.
  21. ^^ and ^ Ok. Found 'it'. Now I know what you meant, lol. I thought you meant an actual cat somewhere on the cars. But the 'paws' clued me in, now. Whew! I wasn't going crazy here. (Well, not my usual crazy, heh.)
  22. How's our little Arrow-Vekoma Ninja doing these days? As rough as it ever was, in the sharp turn after a loop? Just checking here. (former EXPO 86 coaster)
  23. "Ladies, Gentlemen - and those who've yet to make up their mind."
  24. The Season Pass deal is over, so good luck with the regular cost. And ^^^ Where Is THE CAT??? I have tried and tried to find 'it', but so far, no good. Is 'cat' a term for something else? ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRgh! (This feels so Charlie Brown.) The new bumpers are called "Rock-N-Cars". Okaaaay.
