  1. This is just something I see, but it seems like if you want to get a good advance look at a promising (possible) pre-Broadway musical, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto are good ones to check out from time to time. Along with great reviews like yours, Ross.
  2. "No horseplay on the Carousel." (I understand, but it still reads funny. A beautiful set of photos, by the way.)
  3. What a nice way to enjoy the holidays (After Thanksgiving). I envy any park (and it's visitors) that does so much wonderful decorating for this time of year. AND is open, too! Playland(PNE) is closed for the season. We do have a Christmas Market downtown, and it does have a merry-go-round (carousel?).... but that's it for rides. Great photos Stephen. Thanks for sharing the photos. And how's the newly engaged couple (Nicole & Jeremiah) doing?
  4. "Some times, the moonlight paints the sky..."
  5. Just noticed this, in Playland's website (as they are now advertising next year's pass available)... Uh...wtf? They were saying bye-bye to CBP in a poster posted during Playland's regular hours, so...? Guess they changed their minds about getting rid of it. Or "the GP spoke" and they listened. Hmmm. And this is the sign that said so.
  6. Medusa - Six Flags Mexico
  7. Love the photo of the model of the park, within the model of buildings surrounding it. (Back a page.)
  8. Great report! And I find it interesting, that now anybody can follow how the construction is going, by just looking for the red track.
  9. "Happy Evolution Day!"
  10. What a lovely park at night, Europa is. And I loved the way Euro Mir was all lit up. The monorail and the train look like they provide some really great views of all the decorations and lights. I think I could spend a couple of hours just walking around, and not even riding anything! (Except the monorail and train, heh.) Thanks for the video. It's really awesome.
  11. No, listening to the radio. Did you have breakfast this morning?
  12. Here's the two I picked up on the recent Scandi Tour. One was a gift from Hansa Park, the other I bought at our bonus park before the actual tour began, Sommerland Sjaelland. Thank you Hansa, and what a great cap, Sommerland Sjaelland!
  13. Great construction shots. Thanks for sharing them.
  14. Make it alright for me.
  15. and ^^^ Oops. My mistake.
  16. ^ I thought this thread was about rumors and fantasy stuff. Not about anything that already existed.
  17. ^ I think I am most excited about that new Zipper being built.
  18. We thought this week's episode was great. So much stuff between Elsa and the twins. And the stuff between Del and.... that was a bit crazy, but we still enjoyed it. And that ending! I knew it might eventually happen, but still... We are happy with what we've seen, (so far) of this season. EDIT to add: About that tattoo job. We had to suspend total disbelief, that the person getting that tat had to be totally out, with drugs or something. No tattooing (like that one, especially) is that "unfelt," lol.
  19. ^ I wished they had filmed it with NPH, for commercial release like "Memphis" or "Shrek." They could still do that, since it's not a huge cast or band, lol. But there's still always the movie of it.
  20. ^ On a side note, I just got a ticket to what's become an annual production of a local prof. company's version of Mary Poppins. I saw the original in London, just vefore starting the first ever TPR UK Tour back in 2006! Very much looking forward to this production in mid-December.
  21. John Cameron Mitchell is coming back as The Original HEDWIG in January! Damn, I wish I had tix to see him in it. Maybe they'll make a special cast cd. Loved him in the movie and on the original off-Brdwy cast cd.
  22. I think this hotel will be fine for families. And if any of the children are into Toy Story, this will amp up their excitement, I'm sure. And from past tour experience, unless one is actually living in the hotel, it should be fine for touring. My only hope is that if I/we ever get a room there, the windows face towards Tomorrowland and a (hopeful) great view of the TRON coaster!
  23. Can't/shouldn't complain about it.
