  1. ^ Agreed. Still, a trackless ride...with slopes! That would be cool. That said, I think that now the Top Two exciting interests for myself, are Arendelle in DS (?) and a possible Alice attraction(ride?) in DL. Also. Below is a very early concept drawing of the original Alice in Disneyland. Enlarging it would certainly fill an old Small World Bldg. hmmm? (o; Thankyou to MouseHub for the photo of the artwork.
  2. Death by lava. Seriously. Or by an earthquake, too. Fearful of either. And Vancouver is (apparently) way overdue for a major earthquake, we keep being told, year after year.
  3. We saw Penguins of Madagascar last week, and it was really, Really Funny! I was shocked how much more i enjoyed it, than I thought I would. Definitely stuff in there no child would ever 'get'. But lots of visual craziness all over the map. And the "feeling of family" coming through, nice and squishy.
  4. About a $1.10 a litre up where we are. Which is actually happily shocking, considering we have gone as high as (recently) OVER $1.50 a litre! Still, I remember everybody screaming when a litre used to cost... 50 cents!
  5. Bump. Fa la la la lah. And then the resolutions begin.

  7. 88 days remaining...
  8. *Impaled. Looked like too much fun. And FOOD! of course. The souvenir mug looks great, too!
  9. This park was great, a bit spare in themeing and enclosed areas, but it made for a good walking workout from ride to ride, lol. The haunted swing was my happiest surprise as I originally thought it was an ice house, or something like that. I am glad I was wrong. It was great. And the maze with that elder ride op congratulating us as we exited the place and shaking hands, etc... unreal, and very Japanese. She was great! And the concept of changing a one-maze space into two... brilliant! We had a breakdown ahead of us on the lake car ride back there. Thankfully, it wasn't going to be a possible 'sinking' like the guys was, heh. Great park.
  10. Joker Six Flags Mexico Great ride and interactive funhouse queue, too!
  11. I still love this brand, and type... Just the right amount of crispiness, saltiness and vinegar....iness. (o;
  12. ..And everybody loved Vampire's queue and station, too. It was almost like the organ player had been copied (spirited away?) from DL's Haunted Mansion! EDIT to Add the ONLY 2 photos I ever took in Chessington, both tours! 2006 - A not-so-exciting shot of Dragon's Fury, from the park's ferris wheel. 2010 - Our Bubble Works Backstage Tour, near it's end. With empty tubs and the water archway working great!
  13. Javelin
  14. Great update, Caesar! Thanks for that. It looks like it will be a great family coaster. And Happy Holidays to you, your family and friends!
  15. False The person below me is hoping to get their home park's Season Pass as a gift!
  16. ...we just got a new fresh monitor for my computer, as the old one was about to become the Ghost of Christmas Past.... Talk about timing. Got a good deal on it, too. F the Day After Sales!
  17. My computer screen is starting to go into fade-outs or wierd blackness down it. Eeek. But... (GO TO Happiness Thread!)
  18. Wait. You mean, you can see it from both Germany and France??? What is this? This is crazy? Is this crazy? This is. Crazy. It is.
  19. "Lately, you've been living on the outside lane..."
  20. Just saw the recent AHS Freeks episode last night. Sarah Paulson is an amazing actress and she proved it tonight. Great thoughtful episode and still horror-rific at the same time, lol!
  21. What a wonderful set up for London and the holidays! We have only a plaza sized 'market' with one ride - the carousel. Would love to bring this to Playland even with family fave rides running...and our Coaster of course, lol. One photo did catch my attention and that's of the XXL that we're going to be getting, called The Beast, next Playland season! I have had only one friggin boring photo to see it, and it was so nice for you to catch one in action, as well. Great report! And I want this Holiday Market-Rides setup! In our Stanley Park! Oops. EDIT to add the great photo of the XXL in Hyde Park! (o:
  22. I have this feeling that Natalie is the one to watch, from now on. The last vote was a brilliant one-two punch to get Jon out, and they did it! And she was all smiles there, when it all happened. She has certainly proven she can do stuff without her sister beside her, no offence. Getting stronger. Who knows? She may be gone by next episode, but I now admire what she's endured and how she's planned her route accordingly.
