  1. I know it's a rather long ways away (8 years), but my long term plan for 2023 (eep I'll be 70!), is to hit Shanghai Disneyland first, follow with Hong Kong Disneyland, and then fly from Hong Kong to Tokyo and finish with Tokyo Disneyland Resort. After that many years, Shangahi will have (hopefully) settled in, with maybe a couple of new attractions added by then, Hong Kong will have grown more after Iron Man is open, and possible other attraction(s) in by then, and then TDLR will have (hopefully) finished with all it's renovating (Fantasyland) and new attractions (Arendelle) as well. (The third HKDL hotel plans and art concepts look very nice, too.)
  2. ^ And Congrats to Canada for the Gold win.
  3. Zaturn - Space World, Japan
  4. ^ With this, The Day of The Dead, and Cinqo de Mayo, I really like the holidays of Mexico! Ole' indeed!
  5. "One family, seven die"...
  6. Denny's > Shoney's Not by much, but still better this way.
  7. ^ Well, if you ever get to Blackpool, and ride The Steeplechase... Three tracks, no counting 2? (pardon for the side bar) Yellow, green or red track to count? Hmmm... (o; (Taken from Big Blue Hotel room; TPR 2010 UK Tour)
  8. Something I just noticed, from the artwork concept of the announced (page.102) Fantasyland Expansion. Up where ToonTown is, the Gadget Go-coaster appears to be gone, and in it's place (if you look really closely) seems to be a clone of the Seven Dwarfs' Coaster ride! With fairy tale like village buildings around it. And is that the Dwarfs' home up there?... Don't know why they would do that, unless the Snow White dark ride shutters and something else (a Princess Meet & Greet?) takes it's place. Until then, we stay tuned, lol. If you look closely, you can just make out a tiny brown colored "coaster train"...
  9. Cheese and a cocktail....delightful!
  10. False. How could anybody, really? The person below me, knows a lot about Walt Disney World.
  11. ^ I read some where in the past couple of months, that Shanghai Disneyland wasn't going to open, until early 2016. What I remember reading. Could be totally wrong, of course.
  12. 69 days remaining...
  13. Arby's?
  14. ^ In your dreams. (Actually, you'll have to go to Tokyo Disney Sea, to eventually see that, hee hee.) Maybe they could file the edges and corners of the Chinese Theater and make it less "box like"? Like Gigantic Mah Jong tiles!
  15. Well, why not? It's been enough time with these rides. Time for a change! I just loved the proposed layout not really realizing (or caring) where the whole thing would be, in actual space. Still fascinating to know.
  16. Fluch von Novgorod - Hansa park
  17. ^^ Wonderful park history video, even if I didn't understand the language, LOL! The whole back story of the PYTHON was a-ma-zing, especially the car commercial AND the proposed expansion plans of the coaster! It looked awesome, and maybe they might actually do that, and expand Python ("Pee-thon" I loved that, lol.) It was also fun, seeing Pegasus, running in the background, in part of the video shots of Python. This man was (to me, obviously) the Disney of his generation, and Efteling is proof positive of keeping a theme park in theme, well landscaped, and full of experiences for the entire family, not just the rides, too. Thanks for sharing this. It was great!
  18. I think I want to go back and review 2014.
  19. That would have been a very cool video to see, with the snow flying off the tracks when the train flew over them.
  20. That single tower looks so ominous, in any photo I have seen.
  21. ^ Stay tuned, then. Of course, if a TPR Tour came up in say, 2016 or 2017, I would definitely do that, too. Also, my trips back to Japan will be primarily around the Disney resort. Several+ nights will be at the Tokyo Bay Hilton. For now, I have no interest in going back to Fuji-Q, but for you it's a first visit, I know. But I would enjoy a bullet train over to Osaka, and hit Universal Japan... There's time to plan... To the left, Disneyland Hotel and Space Mountain view from my fave hotel room window, at the Tokyo Bay Hilton. To the right, looking to the back of Disney Sea. Hey Mt.Prometheus! And (the back of) Indy! And in between, the BAYSIDE Monorail Station, taking me to all that is Disney.
  22. I am also sure that they will be giving the theater facade a much needed upgrade in lighting effects after the hat comes down. Or...they're already doing it!
  23. ^ Great! Thank you. I was looking myself to try and find any photo of the opening day setup with the Main Street and the Chinese Theater. And it looked spectacular at night, with all the lighting they gave it, too. Oh, and just because, my last visit there was 1991. The year the Muppets 4D debuted.
