  1. It's amazing to see Tripsdrill getting so much bigger, now! I remember my one visit in 2008 (thanks to TPR), when Mammut was the newbie coaster in the park. Really enjoyed the visit there, and always wished I could have gone back to it.
  2. ^ Also, we must remember, that this coaster actually started out in JAPAN. With a themed "mountain" around it. Then it got sold to Camelot. And the park stripped it to just the coaster itself - the bare bones, as it were. One of TPR's earlier Tours to Japan must have it, with a probable POV, too.
  3. Huh. Who'd have thought - that today would have the shortest Birthday List on TPR, LOL! Hope everybody had a great day, today! With a B-Day Doritos Cake? --- Win.
  4. ^ * *Looking forward to your last installment of the Pre-Tour Report!
  5. Joe Coulombe, founder of popular Trader Joe’s markets, 89. R.I.P.
  6. ^ ... By having a big lunch? Just kidding.
  7. Feb. 29 - 1988 - Disneyland. I rode my motorcycle down to California back then. Stayed with friends in N.Hollywood. And went to DL on this day. I had such a great time, I originally planned to return every Leap Year Day after that. But it never came to be. And getting a photo with Mickey was sure easier than it probably is now, I remember. Mr. Mouse and I. I was 35, back then.
  8. It's just been that kind of a day.
  9. http://www.tdrexplorer.com has the announcement about it, too... https://tdrexplorer.com/tokyo-disney-resort-closure-coronavirus/ That must have been a hard, but totally understandable, decision to make.
  10. Attitude
  11. "Rise of The Restroom-stance" A bit awkward to say, but I like it. Great way to report on this attraction, Chuck!
  12. That 33 cent casino voucher is a pretty good souvenir of your visit. And it's a good Lucky # too. Great ongoing TRs you've been posting here. Enjoying all of them - especially those food shots. OMG that Meat Buffet Section!
  13. ^ Same happened to us, last September in Disneyland in GE. We were eating outside and watched people coming in and out of the shop, but we totally forgot what the place was. I think it was the sliding doors that attracted us too, lol. And it was just a walk in, back then. No lineups. Good timing for us.
  14. That almost looks like a city airport abbreviation. J2Y. What I see. Or in my country's case.... half of a postal code.
  15. Happy B-B Mr. C! Your day at The World is looking good, there. Probably tastes good, too.
  16. ^ Waytago! That'll do it!
  17. So besides this being The Month, for Lovers and Black History, here's a few more to celebrate (truth!)... National Hot Breakfast Month Canned Food Month National Cherry Month National Snack Food Month Great American Pies Month National Grapefruit Month National Potato Lovers Month National Hot Breakfast Month Fourth Thursday of the Month – National Chili Day (Best of The Bunch, tho PIES comes close 2nd)
  18. I was just reminded, by Andy's TR of visiting the Netherlands recently, how important the canals of Amsterdam really are. And the last day David and I were there in 2015, I caught this wonderful way to express one's love of another. In this case, two women on a 'cruise' of sorts...with a great punchline. And she said YES! We're heading back in 2022 ~ which makes me wonder if we can find the couple (hoping they're still together), and present them with these photos, in print. For their 7th Anniversary. Happy Love Month Everybody! Two boats of peeps. And then --- Champagne Popping!!! Big hug and kisses between the two of them. And on September 13th, 2015... ...This happened. And....she said yes! (o: And we hope they're still together, for their 5th Anny. Also noted, a police boat ticketing another...uh....boat. Didn't know why. Might have something to do with license to operate, etc. Pretty yellow.
