  1. Hmmm. Wonder if Playland here in Vancouver, might postpone their opening in May? Too far away to speculate? Yeah, I know. Still... "things that make you go hmmm."
  2. Unfortunately, I still have to drag my Starbucks personal cup around, to prove I have one, so I can still get some cents off my purchase. Which honestly, is cool of them to still do. As long as I have the cup to prove it, lol.
  3. Totally agree with this. I rode it back in 2008 with one of the first TPR Tours around Europe. Check out our on-ride photo ~ we all pretty much hated it that day, LOL. Me in back; Hanno and Robb.
  4. Wouldn't/Couldn't they have one (or two) of those body dryer things nearby, and make some money off of drying you off? Just asking.
  5. Our original plans for visiting WDW in 2024, may now include an extra day, spent at the Studios. We've only been planning for two parks at the time - Animal Kingdom and EPCOT. But now..... and we'll plan for doing only Railway, Resistance, and Slinky that day, with anything else we can do, being 'extra'.
  6. I like it, that we really don't know everything inside of the show building. I mean, I have no idea how this attraction is laid out. Nothing leaked out... so far. (Except the ride vehicle, the animatronics, and the 'story' of it.)
  7. ^ Starbucks, and Safeway, and a nice pop up card from a mall store = $40 cdn
  8. ^ Since as far back as I can remember. It's a Starbucks cup, sure. Red, with the main logo on. Holds a Grande-size coffee drink. And you get 10 cents off your purchase, if you use one. But other people I've see, sometimes have their own, actual, personal coffee cup. Non-Starbucks theme. And they are usually getting just brewed coffee. Not the frappuccinos or lattes. EDIT to add: I think the "Alternate Title" is a better one, too. More TPR-ish. This is the one I have. Got it over the holidays a couple of years ago.
  9. ^^ Um, isn't Anaconda at Walygator Park a wooden coaster? I think the photo you posted, is of one of their steel coasters, Comet. Casey Jr., Le Petit Train du Cirque Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Park (Marne la Vallée, Île-de-France, France)
  10. Starbucks up here (maybe everywhere else too?) is only serving their beverages in their own cups. No personal cups are allowed to be used, at this time. And the beat goes on...
  11. "'Royals' Mashup" From the Broadway cast recording of Moulin Rouge: The Musical. Listening to the whole, entire, awesome-sounding album, actually. (o;
  12. ^ From where to where? Just curious of me. And I'm too lazy to find out myself, thanks!
  13. ^^ Bert, which TOMICA Tokyo Disney Resort vehicles did you get? I see you got those two-in-one-set little Doom Buggies, lol. Just curious. I think I bought five of them, when last there, in 2013. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just discovered that Hot Wheels has put out some other "Fun Park" vehicles, including a bumper car, a roller coaster car, and even an ice cream truck! You can buy them separately, or in a group like this five car pack, below. Cool! Available on Amazon. com and/or eBay. Or your local toy and collectibles shop. Actually, it was A LOT MORE than five vehicles, LOL!
  14. I find it great, that you really need to ride Runaway Railway at least four times - once in each of the four "cars" of the train. Having seen a POV on (I think) three of the cars, you really see and hear different stuff going on, while the action continues from scene to scene. Very cool. SPOILER ALERT EDIT: I have to add, I found Daisy's Studio to be the most out-of-place, yet totally calming scene of the entire ride. Compared with all the noise and craziness happening before and after this scene, it's a nice calming spot. Until the tempo changes, heh. And as well, the "stampede" that was being speculated about, was not really about stampeding bulls. It's us and the four train cars being the stampede! And Mickey and Minnie are "rounding us up" for the next scene. And IMhO, I found the Factory scene, and it's eventual conversion, to be the best scene of all, for myself. And Projection Mapping has been outstandingly used, with Disney's work on this attraction. Waytago, Disney!
  15. Happy Birthday Kristen! Hope you had a great day, and best wishes for a great year, too!
  16. Hot Tonight Tokyo Police Club
  17. Well, one way or the other, it's certainly going to be an interesting flat ride. With water!
  18. ^ That's very cool! I especially like that little ice cream truck. Groceries = $242 Cdn. And we're having chicken tacos! ...... this Thursday.
  19. Now this is a road trip, lol! Great stuff, especially all of the aviation museum. Thanks for sharing your pre-TPR Tour TR!
  20. The new designs look great. But - what is the ride depicted below? I'm not sure what it is or does.
  21. ^ And it's only a few days until everybody will know about what's inside, lol. NOTE: It looks like still shots and videos are popping up everywhere now, especially on Disney Fan Sites. And I am Team Mickey (vs.Team Star Wars), all the way!
  22. There's a newly released video out, I am assuming by Disney, of some of the Runaway Railway attraction! It shows a few scenes from the ride (not all of them of course), and I won't describe them to stay spoiler-free. It looks pretty cool, there's a lot of projection mapping, film pieces, along with some great set pieces and animatronics, etc. The theme song is fun, too. If this is available to see here, could somebody else link it here, or post the video? I can't figure these things out, without screwing it up somewhere.
