Why does my cat drink from the Christmas tree when they have clean water? Silly cat! Thought they'd try to fight the ornaments but they don't seem to care. Christmas tree survival = success so far! -
Yes Are you going to a park's holiday event?
-
No Are you a grinch when it comes to Christmas stuff?

Maybe I have it in for myself but I'm actually considering going to this in April. There's usually not too much else going on in April so why not? I'm not a huge die-hard Potter fan but I enjoyed the movies and enjoyed the rides in Orlando. Plus it might be fun to have a few of those Potter beers and people-watch all the crazy fans.

1) Facebook--I go on very often and browse, share, like, post, etc. It's where I see the most TPR content besides this site! 2) Snapchat--It makes me happy when TPR pops up on the stories feed, I'd like to see more! 3) Twitter and Youtube tied--I usually don't go on unless I have something specific I want to post or see. On Twitter I sometimes retweet TPR stuff but I really don't have that many followers that care That's about it, I'm pretty selective on apps I use.

Most Intense B&M!
RAWKIN_coaster38 replied to Beate's Freak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Honestly, Montu is a lot more fickle than Kumba. Kumba is consistently intense (with some days more intense than others) whereas Montu had it's "meh" days and it's "OMFG!!" days. You probably got one of the "meh" days. I only got to ride Dragon's Challenge once but I thought it was more intense than Montu when I did. However, later in the summer after riding Montu more and having some of those "OMG" rides, I became more of a Montu fan. -
Best Kiddie coaster ever

I really enjoy the super janky random ones that literally feel like they are going to fall apart because someone over 70 pounds decided to ride them. -

You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

Been there, except it was exchange students from Australia and Spain. They were surprised I knew of the parks near them, as is just about anyone else from anywhere outside of California when I mention parks in their area. -
Yes if I have lots of time to kill (like on airplanes) Do you like eggnog?

Yes, at least on your own actions but not on your feelings Are you up before 8am on weekdays?

Just got this today. I already had the butterfly and flower and added the coaster. It's not done yet as there will be some color in the sky and I'm planning to frame the image with more colorful foliage, more flowers, a tree, etc. so all the gaps should be filled and make up an entire half of my leg. See if you can guess the coaster. This was my first coaster (the one that started it all) and my first inversion.

Yes! Esp on Montu Do you have a tattoo?

The mob mentality at the park was a little unnerving. At one point in between Paint the Night and the fireworks show, security were trying to divert the crowd to go around the rope. Eager to get a good spot, people weren't listening and were still going under the rope. The entire plaza was packed full of people with barely any walking room even on the paths because people were all trying to move to get a good view of the castle. I'm just glad I don't have small children because it would be super easy to lose your child in a crowd like that. I can't even imagine what Christmas or New Years is like.

Staying home sick in college isn't so fun when you realize you now have less time to make up a lab that you might not understand. pros: being home to keep up on IAAPA coverage! -

We were there at the park yesterday and were able to do 13 of the main rides and all four shows at Disneyland. It was the first day of Christmas for them as well. I had never seen all of the lights before at Disneyland because last year was my first year going to the parks during Christmastime but we ended our day at DCA instead. Disneyland during Christmas really is stunning! I was blown away by all the lights on Small World. I was completely amazed with all of the shows but especially paint the night and the fireworks show. Completely breathtaking. Disney shows are just on a whole nother level! We also ate at Carthay Circle Theater which is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! The food was excellent (we got several starters including the blue crab, ceviche, and the corn tamale.) But one of the best things about the restaurant was the cocktails! I had three and all of them were amazing! But my whole reason for posting is because Hyperspace Mountain (Star Wars overlay of Space Mountain) soft opened for two hours yesterday and we were there at just the right time to ride it. It was amazing! I'm not huge into Star Wars and I thought it completely refreshed the ride and made it super exciting and awesome. If you like Star Wars, you're going to love this ride! Its scheduled to officially open on Monday but if you're at the park today, keep an eye on it!
