Was it the last bring a friend free day or something? Also they normally opening the fairgrounds lots for parking when the parking lot is officially deemed filled. It was a BAFF day, I don't know if it was the last. And it didn't appear that they opened the overflow fairground lot at all. I guess it was late enough in the day, why bother? People would start leaving soon anyway and open up new spots.

GAME: What's worse than...

When there's nothing good to watch on Netflix or On Demand despite there being hundreds of movies to choose from. What's worse than spending a lot of money at a restaurant and the food not being very good? -
Great photos, Doug! Your camera is way better than my own eyesight I see what you mean now. That looks great! But not as great as my parking spot today. Around 3PM ish, there were literally no more spots so they were letting people park anywhere they could find as long as it wasn't a red zone. I think my spot takes the cake. 5 minutes after we parked: "Great spot you got there, are you leavin'?" Nope, sorry redneck dude. Sunset pic of our favorite SLC my sister took on my device Oh, and I actually saw someone car line-jump everyone waiting to pay for parking. I heard an employee say "I was so mad at those guests" and I assume that's what she meant, but I'm pretty sure the people got away with it.

Someone finds another beer, and while they're bringing it to you, they trip and it shatters at your feet. What's worse than having your favorite pair of pants rip across the crotch? -
I agree with this. It's about 50/50 good/bad for me. The bad rides hurt my head via being dropped on my head where the good rides are awesome and somewhat scary, but I still would rather ride MM's Green Lantern any day. Not a huge fan of standup coasters and that one was no exception Green Lantern: Not my fave

We were there February 1st, and it had been raining hard all morning. Scream in the second row was surprising fun and only boxed my ear once hard during the cobra roll. I've had some worse rides on it but this one wasn't bad. I wonder if the cold/rain/wind made it better that day? Apocalypse in the light rain was surprisingly great as well. I didn't find it too rough (there were a few rougher parts toward the end) and we enjoyed our rides both in the front and the back. Idk if I've just gotten lucky with it, but the last few times I rode it I enjoyed it and felt like people have been hating on it too much. The last time I rode Ghost Rider a few years ago was awfully painful and rough, I definitely don't see how the two can be compared in roughness.

^I love pizza and have been dying to try some legit NY-Style pizza. I'll be going to the area in April and I'll definitely have to try some of those! I plan to order pizza as much as I can in the three weeks I'm up there.

I just bought flights to the Northeast! I'm finally going to get to visit Six Flags New England, Hersheypark, Knoebels, Six Flags Great Adventure (3rd time) as well as see New York City again and spend awesome time with my boyfriend and his family for 3 weeks! It's going to be amazing, and I can't wait to ride Skyrush and Wicked Cyclone!

Awww, poor guy Yeah a lot of the Siamese look so similar! And soooo cute Here's one of Jin's horrified looks This picture cracks me up And two more Round Table creations. My favorite box

I have a special relationship with Round Table. There's one really close by and when I don't want to cook, they're a pretty tasty and quick solution. One time, I said something about my cats in the order comments just to be weird, and they thought it was hilarious and put me down in the computer as the "cat house." So ever since then, they've drawn cats on our boxes when we order pizza. My family has a long history with Papa Murphy's too and I still enjoy their pizza, but I've gotten kinda sick of it after having the same pizza every week for about 10 years. Of course, the best pizza I've ever had was in Chicago and New Jersey. I'm looking forward to getting some legit New York style pizza from the area in April. Of course local places are better than chains. But for not-too-expensive nearby pick-up on a Friday night, I'd much rather have Round Table than Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Little Caesars, etc.

This looks amazing It's a stunning coaster and it's going to be awesome going up that lift backwards right next to Montu like that. I agree with you, I think this will be so totally unique and exciting that it will definitely draw more attention than Mako! I also just got an email about interviewing to work at BGT again this summer, so I might actually be riding this this year Does anyone have any idea around when this might open?

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

If I have to go on a day in April, is there a day that would be better? I'm assuming maybe a Sunday and not the first day of operation? Or is April spring break up there? I could go in May if it was early May. I'll consider the lodge but I have somewhere to stay an hour and a half away. EDIT: would it be beneficial to buy a two-day ticket? Now I'm thinking possibly Knoebels on the 1st and Hershey the 29th and 30th. -
^^From my experience, CGA invests in better shows and decorations, which could be a huge plus for a holiday event. If they have good food as well...maybe it will draw families who really don't care about the rides as much and go more for the atmosphere and "holiday cheer." Plus, I don't think people (besides enthusiasts) really drive between the parks so much. So the families who go to SFDK will still probably go to SFDK and families who never went before but live in the Santa Clara area might start going to CGA. And why not put on a Holiday event? Seems logical as a lot of other theme parks are moving toward having them, and CGA could still probably profit from it.

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread
RAWKIN_coaster38 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Looking for some trip advice, anything you can offer is appreciated. I'm looking at visiting in April or early May. I see that Hershey is open April 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th for Spring operation, and then starts summer hours the 29th and 30th. Which of those dates would be best to visit? I'm also looking at visiting Knoebel's around the same time, but it's only open starting the 29th and 30th. I'm also planning on visiting SFGAdv and SFNE and they're open every weekend, plus SFNE on weekdays in April. I don't necessarily want to do all those parks back to back, but keep in mind that I'll need to have a car rented for those trips. Also, how busy might the park be? Like relatively easy to get everything done + rerides or should I plan to buy a Fast Track pass? -
Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?
RAWKIN_coaster38 replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
The weather is perfect today in California. Sorry for the rest of you in the freezing cold, we've been sunny and in the low 80s all week. Not too hot or too cold. Warm enough I could probably go for a swim if I wanted. -
