This. I get the feeling those of you saying Roar shouldn't have an inversion is because you haven't tried an RMC inversion yet. Definitely different! If your reasoning is that it would make it worse for families with little kids scared of loops... Sorry, this is gonna be the wrong coaster for those types of people. SFDK will have to get a family coaster for that. If your reasoning is you want a thrill ride without inversions... I don't think you'll be disappointed if Roar does have them and I think it will.

Less than a month away from the announcement! The more RMC announcements I see, the more I have high hopes for Steel Roar! RMC likes to break records with every new ride, I wonder what records Roar could break? Lightning Rod will already be the first launched wooden coaster! I literally can't even imagine, RMC is always one step ahead of the game!

I've been riding Sheikra all summer and it seriously is an amazing ride. You get some great views, great floater in the back, and it's overall a very fun (albeit short) ride. The GP love it too! The first half looks like Sheikra but taller and faster, and then we have more goodies tacked on at the end. So judging from what I see, this will probably be better than Sheikra and Sheikra is already a great ride, so this one should be as well. And I definitely think it will be unique, and most people in the area probably haven't ridden a Dive Machine.

^Vertical drops? That's the only similarity I see. A dive machine on the West Coast would be really nice, but what SFMM really needs is more good flats. Maybe one of the rumored air races?

Cheetah Hunt was running with guests today for those of you who are interested. I got confused about the layout of the park at first, but that was also because I was going in through employee areas and didn't start out at the front of the park. It's basically a big loop once you get the hang of it. I always have people asking me how to get to various rides, though. Also, there's a lot more to the safari than what you saw, but the animals walk around and you can't always guarantee you'll see everything, especially from the train. We went on a safari today and the white rhinos were really far away, but sometimes they're right next to the road.

This afternoon I saw it testing but without people on it. I heard it ran with people on the day the weather went crazy, but I haven't seen anyone on it all week and I'm at the park every day.

Yeah I recommend either Dragonfire (in Pantopia) or Smokehouse for food. Smokehouse doesn't have a lot of beer selection, but there is a bar in Dragonfire and over by Falcon's Fury there's Twisted Tails pretzels that has a good selection of beer. So I recommend staying in that area for food and drinks.

Waiting to get picked up to do Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom all in one day! I know, crazy, but I only get this one day and I'm going to try and do as much as possible!

Great news! I, too, was worried that everyone would ride TC during ERT and nothing else to make sure they get all their rides in....now I can take some time for my guilty pleasure (X...X...X...2...2...2!) and know I'll still have plenty of time for TWISTED COLOSSUS!!!!

Personally, I'm a big fan of Christian rock music and looking back at previous years, some of my favorite bands have gone! From the link you provided it just lists Britt Nicole who I don't listen to, but if a band I really like is going, I'm seriously gonna be torn! I assume the concerts might be done by the time we have ERT? Or else the smaller bands might be done (the ones I'd probably be more likely to see) and Britt Nicole would be on.

Just got back from riding Montu in the back! Still like Kumba better but Montu is amazing and even better that it was only a one-train wait!

More like a cute 10-year-old comment than GP, but... I had a camper who said she was afraid to go on Sheikra because she got scared on El Toro and Sheikra is steeper and taller. I tried to explain to her that El Toro is way more freaking intense than Sheikra, but she didn't understand. Hopefully, she'll still ride Sheikra!

Both my tickets are ordered! I seriously can't wait for this, my second ever WCB and what might be the best with TC ERT! It'll be my second RMC and from what I've heard, the better one of the two!

Don't anyone hate me for this comment, but I feel a little conflicted because I actually really like Roar the way it is. I wish we could keep Roar AND still get an awesome RMC. However, I'm absolutely THRILLED that my home park is most likely getting an RMC!! I'm still a little in shock about this, because I never would have expected SFDK to get one so soon, let alone ever! I can't believe that I'm going to have what likely might be a top 10 coaster within an hour's drive of where I live! I really can't wait to see what they're going to be doing with this! Take that, CGA! Only bummer for me is I really want to visit on Roar's last day to get one last ride on it, but that's the day I'm slated to fly home from my summer at Busch Gardens. I'm almost tempted to see if I can get off a few days early (which might end up happening anyway). We shall see!
