YES!!! This is exactly what happened when I rode it! Man, this TR makes me wanna do whatever I can to return to Knoebels this year even though it'll be a very far drive for me. It was such a FUN park and there are so many things I missed that I want to do! Looks like you guys had an awesome time, and those Flyers were super legit! I had never really successfully snapped until riding that one!

TPR ALWAYS needs more orca photos! Thank you! I've been a huge fan of orcas since I was two and visited Marine World (now SFDK). So I was an orca fan longggg before I was ever a coaster fan! I still feel like a five-year-old when I go to Seaworld and get to see the orcas. I could definitely spend 2 hours at Shamu Stadium Sadly, I'll probably never realize my dream of getting to pet an orca, but I loveeee petting the dolphins and it's awesome that you guys got to do that! When I visited SWSD last year, I waited at the dolphin encounter for a long time before I was finally rewarded. I never got to stick around it in Orlando, but at SWSD they had special sessions with the trainers and they had mercy on us hungry dolphin lovers and brought the dolphin around for us to pet a few times. Coasters + orcas (or dolphins at least) = best day ever!

So you're basically gonna be shooting all over the place as the ride bangs your head about? I'm really, really glad they mention new restraints! Hopefully it'll be the vests or at least a step up from the existing restraints. What do you think they mean by new track work? I don't think I'll make it to the park for this, but I'm intrigued to see what other people think of it. If any of the new modifications help improve the ride and make it less rough, then I'm totally in favor! I actually like Kong on its good days. Yeah I'd rather have something else, but [pre-Joker] I would usually give it one ride a day.

So very sad. I LOVED the flamingos when I was there. They're magical creatures. We would take them on walks in the park. They like to "preen" you and they'd chew at your hair and shirt. They're so loud and funny looking but also cute! Here's a couple of my pics From one of our walks. We'd basically corral them and they were trained to walk when the keepers walked. They get taken on walks almost every day (if not every day) and guests would just stare in disbelief at all of them walking by. Flamingo selfie!

I'm actually hoping to get there before it closes for good and try the coasterbill method. But if not...bring on RMC! This sounds just like what happened with some of the Six Flags wooden coasters before they were RMCed: rumors that the coaster would close later that season, then a farewell ceremony, then...announcement! Of course this would be Cedar Fair's first RMC, but it makes sense that they would want the first one at Cedar Point. I'm really looking forward to what will happen with this ride, and I'm excited that I'll be in the area. -
I haven't been back in a week but from every week I have been there, I would say yes. If you don't see it testing in the morning, expect a delayed opening. Everyone is gonna run there anyway so if you go and wait it out, you could be on the first train. Also, one train op on a weekday was about a 30-40 minute wait, but it was a slow and painful wait in the heat so bring water. I have no idea how long the line might get on a Sunday. If it's through all the switchbacks, it takes over an hour.

Looks like a great layout to get RMCed in the future But really, I'm intrigued by the surprise and new information to come, and this should be a fun construction to watch and look forward to when I'm in the area. It's not gonna be the most anticipated coaster of 2017 (surely there will be others), but it looks like it could be a really fun ride with some great moments of airtime and a great setting. -

I'm really excited to hear too! I'll be the one and only person to predict that the "leaked" plans were fake and we're getting something none of us expected. But hey, if it is a GCI (which all signs point to it being), it could still be exciting. Gold Striker is an awesome ride and one of my favorite wooden coasters. (But not as exciting as RMC, let's be real here) -
Rollercoaster Competitons

I won an all-expenses paid trip to SFGAdv which included flights, transportation, hotels, admission, and exit passes! It was one of those Six Flags Facebook sweepstakes where you can enter once per e-mail. I entered with like 4 e-mails and actually won! I also won tickets to SFDK once through some random drawing my college did, but I already had a season pass that year. I probably gave the tickets to friends but I don't really remember. -
Yes but I think orcas are more incredible Have you ever worked in food service?
-
No, but I was at one every day for the last three days (Wed, Thur, Fri) Do you prefer riding coasters at night?

What is your next park?

SFDK if I get another chance before my road trip, then I'm driving to Ohio for school and planning to stop at WoF and SFStL on the way (both new parks for me), and then KI the first chance I get (possibly the first weekend of living in Ohio) which will be a new park for me as well! Edit: dang both WoF and SFStL end weekday operation the week we're making this trip. Maybe that leaves it open for other, better parks though but others are off of our route. -
^From my experience, it often runs slower than other RMCs but there are times that it's like OMFG and tears through the course. I really think it's gonna break in more over time especially as the bugs are worked out. You definitely need to try the back left for the drop at least. I haven't gotten a night ride on it yet, has anyone gotten a few that can compare?
-
No, except for RMC coasters, love the stalls! Do you prefer Apple products?

I was there again today as well as yesterday. Let me compare the days. Yesterday was brutal. I was there at opening to ride Joker but it didn't open until about 12:30. The line was almost all the way to the entrance but I waited in it anyway, it took over an hour with one-train operation and long waits without moving in the sun. After that, the line was back to about 30-40 minutes but it broke down again around 3. I had to meet some friends for dinner so I waited until about 3:30 and left. It was running again as I was leaving the park, and apparently ran both trains later. But me, in 6 hours at the park, got 2 rides on Joker and one on V2. (Speaking of V2, I forgot how much fun this coaster is, and it's awesome seeing Joker from the top! I didn't notice anything really different with it except new padding and OTSRs, but there's still a decent amount of rattle and it did give me a bit of a headache that day). Today, I arrived a bit after opening to find a small group of hopefuls outside of a closed Joker. Today I had even less time with a planned departure around noon, so I rode V2 (which didn't give me a headache today, probably because I was more hydrated) and then waited with the hopefuls at Joker. The employees kept saying they didn't know how long it would be, but they let us wait in the shade at least. It was testing both trains but they kept telling us it might still be a while and to check back later. I ended up meeting coasternate and chatting for a bit before it finally opened round 11:45!! By then, a lot of people had left so we were 4th, 5th, and 6th in line, and they got the back while I nabbed the front. It was running AWESOME, like even better than the last two days. We got back in line and it was only about 20 minutes with both trains running, and we got lucky and nabbed the front and back again...on the PURPLE TRAIN!!! OMG... that back row ride really reassured me why I still rank this as my favorite of the 4 RMCs I've been on,... the airtime was just amazing and it was HAULING. So comparatively, my two rides on Joker and 1 on V2 were better than yesterday, and I was at the park only about 2 hours instead of 6. Here's my on-ride photo, you can tell how exciting it was especially after all the waiting. Pure bliss

The last survey I took wasn't a rides survey but I took it for SFDK and then out of curiosity retried the link for SFMM. It was the same exact survey. I really doubt were getting a Justice League ride since it's pretty certain that SFGAdv and SFOG are getting one. If anything, we'd get a Justice League movie in iwerks theater. ^yikes that sounds awful. I'm planning on going today for just a few hours. I almost went yesterday but I moved back my trip. Hopefully it's open today and the lines aren't too long. I'm hoping to get 14 rides this week and then I'll be at 50 overall. Even one train op last week I got 7 rides just getting back in line over and over for 5 hours. I love this coaster and it's well worth the wait but would be awesome if the wait wasn't so long! If it's down I won't even stay probably.

Another teaser from Snapchat. Not sure it means much. When do you think they're gonna announce this?
