I take back what I said (kinda). The "lightning bolts" on the manta look actually pretty nice with the same pattern on the rest of the train. I could do without the purple, but it's nothing major. Thanks for the videos and pictures, they're awesome! All the landscaping going into the ride is going to look great, it already does.

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread
FitchCoaster replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Man, this is one sexy ride! I love the trains, and it looks like there much airtime to be had. I really need to get myself out to KI. -
Dear Title Fairy, may a have a custom title? It can be whatever you wish, I don't care. I'm content with whatever you choose! Thank you! EDIT: Lol, totally not what I had in mind, but thanks!

My home parks are Knott's and Disneyland. I go to Disneyland 1-3 times each year. Every year my number of visits to Knott's varies, but I go there 3-4 in September-November for Halloween Haunt. So on top of all my visits during the rest of the year, I'd say I go to Knott's 4-6 times in a year. Another close park to me is SFMM, but I only go there once or twice a year. I'd go way more often if I lived a bit closer.

^ If I'm not mistaken, he was calling the old-school Mickey the predatory rapist one. And he wants rapist Mickey on the wheel. I'm really hoping I've got it all wrong, but that's what I get out of the post... hahahaha. Anyways, I'm excited about the future of Paradise Pier. I like that they're really sticking to the Victorian theme. And the fact that Paradise Pier will actually have some kind of story to it is pretty cool, I think it'll give the area some character that it was missing before. I'm reaalllyyy freaking excited for World of Color, I'm a huge fan of those type of shows.

Man, I loved this place as a little kid. I remember going on the Freeway Coaster over and over and over again... and that balloon ride too, haha. It's great to see some photos of it, thanks for sharing! I haven't been since before Treetop Racers was put it, so I see quite a bit has changed since then, from what I can remember at least. Great TR and photos!

In my opinion, Mr. Pibb/Pibb Xtra > Dr. Pepper. I don't really taste the difference between Mr. Pibb and Pibb Xtra. Oh and... Fixed. Pepsi Blue was awesome!

Everyday Objects
FitchCoaster replied to rawrtotheargh's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This happens everyday at school, haha. I'll be thinking of a roller coaster, and I'll catch myself moving my pen around like it was the train going through the layout of the coaster I'm thinking of. I'll also do this while making up layouts in my head. So yeah, you're not crazy. Well, maybe you're crazy. But if that's the case I'm crazy with you, hahaha. -
I've played alto sax since 6th grade (I'm in 11th now) and tenor sax in 7th grade (but stopped because I thought the parts were too boring, hahaha). I have a little experience on the drumset, and for drumline I play cymbals and bass drum.

It used to kind of be a tradition to go to Disneyland for Christmas, or sometime close to Christmas, but we stopped awhile back. I think in the late 90's, early 2000's is the time we stopped going. Other than that, I haven't been to a park on a holiday lately. I think it's time to start that tradition again...

That was as equally hilarious as it was disturbing. I really don't know how to feel about this one!. I laugh but at the same time, it's pretty sad. I feel so sorry that she'll never share love with a human being, that's horrible. It's hard to decide whether to laugh at this or take it seriously... ...I'm pretty sure it's funny though, so I'll keep laughing. "I love him for the narrowness of his jibs."

The new graphic on the zero-car is... interesting. And quite busy. Is it just me or does the graphic look very 'electric'? Every time I look at it, I can't help but see lightning bolts shooting out of the manta's fins. Honestly, I think it would look a lot better either with no graphic at all, or if the same graphic was applied to all of the little mantas.

Great TR as always Big Mike! I love Sea World and all these photos just make me miss it more than I already do! I wish I was heading there soon, it's the closest a Mikestery card will probably ever get to me! One thing that I found really strange/awesome: I've never seen the flamingos walk around the park before! Every time I go they're always all just standing in their exhibit. That's so awesome, yet I'd be scared as hell if I was there, hahaha. Did they react to the guests at all or did they just calmly stroll through the park?

Coaster used in tv show...
FitchCoaster replied to obeygiant's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The roller coaster in Final Destination 3 is Corkscrew at PNE Playland: http://www.rcdb.com/id319.htm -
Moving the Astro Orbiter from the top of the Peoplemover/Rocket Rods station to the entrance of Tomorrowland was pointless if you ask me, and did nothing but make things worse - not better. I don't think all of the stuff going on in Paradise Pier is pointless, but it definitely isn't something that NEEDED to be done, in my opinion. It's not really improving upon the park's main problem, but it's improvement nonetheless and I think it's going to add a lot to the area.

Apparently the closing of Astroworld ruined this kid's life... What's the edit button by the way? And you know why I keEp on asking about people making recreations, IT'S CAUSE OF ASTRO WORLD, & EVERY DAY I'M ALAWYS IN A BAD MOOD, & I DON'T READ A BOOK, I DON'T GO TO CHURCH, I DON'T PLAY SPORTS, OR DO ANYTHING BECAUSE OF ASTRO WORLD IN HOUSTON, AND WE CAN'T AFFORD TO GO TO FIESTA TEXAS, OVER TEXAS, AND EVEN MY FAVORITE THEME PARK THAT I WANTIN TO GO TO, & EVERY DAY FROM SCHOOL, THE WEEKENDS, THE HOLIDAYS, THE SUMMER I GO IN, AND OUT DOING NOTHING ALL DAY!!! TPR PENS! (Yes, pens!)
FitchCoaster replied to Crazy4Coasters!'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks Robb for the pen! It's everything I ever hoped for, hahahaha. Seriously though, I've been finding excuses to write on things with it all day. Oh and BTW, I love the zip-up hoodie! Great quality and it's so comfortable! It kept me warm today during the chilly (by SoCal standards) weather. -
^ I HATE that, too! Especially when all of these assignments are assigned over Spring Break. I have other more important things to do over my break time, like watching TV all day!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
FitchCoaster replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Two days ago, Mulholland Madness at DCA. Not the best ride, but it's pretty fun! Photo Credit: About.com
