  1. I was feeling incredibly uncreative when I made this account, so I just looked down and the first thing I saw was the word "Fitch" on my shirt. So Fitch+I like roller coasters=FitchCoaster. Yep!
  2. Mercury by Bloc Party
  3. My reactions to that a mix between "this is kind of amusing" and "wtf? I more more leaning towards "wtf?". Yeah.. If only we had ads like that in the US. Hahaha
  4. I got my first sunburn, ever. Yes I'm 17, haha. Anyways I went to Soak City and when I was offered some sunscreen, I was being cocky and refused it because I "don't get burnt". Well actually, I really wasn't being cocky, because I actually DID think that I don't get burnt, I've never had a sunburn in my life, haha. It did not end up well, as my shoulders, my back, and some of my chest is pretty much in flames today. Maybe in flames is an exaggeration, but they burn! Lesson learned: I burn.
  5. LOL! Kudos to Weird Al for the "backside of water" reference, along with all the other subtle Jungle Cruise references. I get the "those hippos are wiggling their ears.. you know what that means!" every time I ride it, so I really appreciated that part, hahaha. That was better than I thought it was going to be, thanks for sharing!
  6. Read this comment on YouTube while watching a video of TTD. It usually doesn't 'bother' me when people get stats totally wrong, but I mean... really? "wait [it's] 420 inches or Feet?"
  7. ^I play Rock Band 2 occasionally. Yeah, that'd be awesome! I only play like once a week, but I think that's a pretty good idea. My gamertag is DentalGoblin. Yeah, don't ask, hahaha.
  8. Yes, I always make my friends sit on the right. I think it's because most of the ride is left turns. Yeah, I'm glad we found that out. She made me ride on the right side for the remaining amount of times we rode, thanks Jaclyn. Hahaha. No but seriously though, Ghostrider is the roughest coaster I've been on that I recall, but it was a great ride. It's been awhile since I've rode it, but I remember Rolling Thunder at SFGAdv being kind of rough. If my memory serves me right, that ride was pretty bad.
  9. My favorite is Infusion, the light blue/dark blue color scheme has always been a favorite of mine. Combined with being over the water and the jets spraying all around it, it just looks awesome. It's so good looking.. too bad it's an SLC, haha. Photo credit: rcdb.com
  10. I've only been on three, well, technically two since Scream! and Medusa east, I mean, Bizarro are pretty much the same. The ones I've been on are: -Medusa west -Medusa east/Bizarro -Scream! My favorite is Medusa west, but it would be cool to ride Bizarro with all the added effects and theming.
  11. Welcome to Hell (Reshanked by Manufactura) by Terrorfakt. I'm trying to get in the Haunt mood, haha. I can't wait for October!
  12. KMG Tangos are my favorite. Here's a video of me on the one at the San Diego County Fair:
  13. Wake Up by Arcade Fire.
  14. Man, this totally beats HRRRRRRR for being the most delayed coaster. When it finally opens however, I'm sure it will be awesome. I've seen some videos of old Flying Turns coasters and they looked amazing, can't wait to finally have the chance to ride something like them. I do hope they do something about the cages though, some padding would be nice.
  15. I stated it in the Movies thread but I'll say it here too: Megan Fox, gory violence, Megan Fox and horror is the perfect combination for a movie. No doubt will she be the main selling point of the movie, I mean it's working. It has me sold!
  16. I thought Bruno was hilarious! A very humorous look at the stupidity of some people. It was offensive and graphic - which is how I like my comedies! People should really go into this movie expecting that, but no doubt will a lot of people be still offended by this movie. Like CTU Agent said, the people that go and watch this only to be offended, I hope they were uncomfortable! Hahaha. There's occasional stabs at religion, races and other controversial subjects, so if you're at least a little sensitive to these topics, I'd suggest you do not watch this movie. Everyone in my theater was cracking up and often in tears, I know I was! Most of it just had me smiling and chuckling often, but there were some moments (the swingers party!) that had me hysterical! Overall it was a short, but sweet movie that I honestly wouldn't recommend to just anyone. However if you have an open mind and are just looking for an hour and a half or pure comedy, go ahead! I'd give Bruno a solid 9/10. EDIT: Looking at reviews for Bruno, it reminded me of a point I thought of on the way home tonight. It's really a love or hate film, I don't think there's going to be a middle ground (Middle Earth?) when it comes to this movie.
  17. 1,647. My iPod Touch is 16GB and pretty much full because of all the songs combined with all the videos I have loaded on it. I need an uprade.
  18. Being stuck in Socal for most of my life, I haven't 'been out' much, but based on what I've been on: 10. V2: Vertical Velocity (SFDK) 9. Batman: The Ride (SFGAdv/SFMM) 8. Ghostrider 7. Bizarro/Scream! (SFGAdv/SFMM) 6. Riddler's Revenge 5. Space Mountain (DLR - Just for the experience!) 4. Terminator Salvation: The Ride 3. Xcelerator 2. Goliath (SFMM) 1. X2 Yes, Ghostrider made it on the list. I hated it before, but we rode it for the first time in ages this Wednesday and it actually wasn't that bad. It was incredibly fun and there's still parts where you get some airtime. It's a bit rough, but IMO it adds to the intensity. California Screamin' would make the list if the trims weren't added. The hills over the boardwalk games used to have such great airtime, pretty much ejector air. Still though, it's a pretty damn good coaster.
  19. Red Sweater by The Aquabats, hahaha.
  20. Lol, sounds like someone's a HOS fan. Although it's kind of weird how the names of the two mazes are so similar. Hmm. This year's Haunt for Knott's sounds great! Out of the three years I've been going, this year's maze line up definitely sounds the strongest. I agree that Terror of London is going to have to have incredible set design, but I'm not going to worry about that. This one is being hyped up quite a bit and usually, the mazes that are being hyped up the most are the ones with the best set design and execution - an example being Doll Factory. Dia De Los Muertos kind of disappointed me when it was announced it was going to be in 3D.. I'm actually not sure at all how this one is going to turn out. I'm intrigued. As for the Asylum and clown maze, Knott's always does these two themes very well. Uncle Bobo's sounds pretty cool and the "Lockdown" addition to the Asylum has me interested. So I'm very excited and not worried at all about how these will turn out. Hopefully they don't disappoint!
  21. Great news, awesome news! Congratulations! I wish your family a great future.
  22. ^ Yeah, I can't wait for that movie! Ms. Cody, you're genius! Megan Fox + gory violence + horror + Megan Fox = greatness! Wait, did I just type Megan Fox twice?
  23. I loved the trip report! I for one enjoyed the bathroom trips, I chuckled at every one. Hahaha. I've always wanted to visit BGE, glad you guys enjoyed it! Looks like a great park from the photos, which were also great by the way. I'm still upset I didn't introduce myself TPR Termination Day, we were in that line right by each other before night ERT for like a half an hour! Come WCB '10, expect a "hey"
  24. ^ Well, the funny thing is that, with her hand movements, she was implying that it went backwards, then forwards again before the big drop. When she was trying to show her friends the "baboom", her friends told her they didn't see anything. She repeated a couple times, "Oh you guys obviously missed it. You definitely missed it!"
  25. It was TPR Termination Day and Jaclyn and I were hanging out at the park between morning/night ERT sessions. We decided to brave the 2 hour wait (turned out to be 3 1/2 hours, but back on topic..) for X2. For those of you that haven't been on it, there's these signs comparing 'nerdy' people (Type A people) to people doing cool, extreme stunts (Type X people). I don't think that there's much else to explain, except that we definitely agreed I fit into the Type A category. Hahaha.
