^ I 100 % agree. I have a feeling once Salty's healthy that Teagardens gone and Treanor will take his job. The only reason he's still in is because of that. Treanors hitting .233 and Tea's hitting 0.40. I heard so many people complain when they optioned Davis and brought up Smoak, people said Teagarden needs to go too. I was like HELLO..you can't do that till Salty's healthy. -

LOL!! Sky Pilot!! I can remember my cousin and I riding this and her fat leg got stuck on the control stick in the middle. We kept spinning around upside down and did for the whole ride, well, until they took control of it. I was laughing so hard just because she was freaking out!! She's such a drama queen! It was truly priceless. -
I haven't had the chance to make it out SFoT this year yet but I remember them speaking about it on their Facebook page. I thinks its a good idea. I would like the chance, especially during a hot Texas summer day, while at the park and kick back and chill a bit in a relaxing atmosphere and enjoy some AC. Sometimes I bring some non-riders, or as I call them, my "bag o crap holder" with me. It is nice to have an area they could sit and chill while their waiting for me. I think its a nice addition to the park!!

The Deadliest Catch

^ Actually its The Northwestern. I don't see it being over rated, its just what people like. I myself am a big fan of the show. Phil was my favorite captain. It was heartbreaking to hear he had passed. It was painful for me to see the trials he went thru when he had that aneurysm in his lungs and he was absent from the Cornelia Marie for awhile. It was quite a different atmosphere on the boat. He just brought an amazing energy. I was very happy when he came back. The thing with shows like this is you really get to like these guys, you see the trials they go thru and all their emotions.I believe Phil came in on season 2. Even though I never knew him personally a piece of me is missing. I enjoy the show and I will continue to follow it, but now that he is gone the show will never be the same. Its just like the loss of Dale Earnhardt, I was a huge fan of him, and the day he hit that wall in Daytona my heart sunk. Nascar never felt the same!! -
^^ Great video..thanks for sharing!! It just makes me more anxious for our trip there in June!! With the addition of I305 K.D. sure has a nice coaster collection going on. I can remember the last time I was there Anaconda was still under construction. They just had Rebel Yell, Scooby, Shockwave and Grizzly. I can remember hitting this park like 26 times one season.I used to be able to navigate this park backwards with my eyes closed. 20 years of change, I will be lost!! LOL

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how they handle people with disabilities at KD. Mom and I will be flying in for a weekend trip in June for some I305 love. She has MS and can walk only short distances. She requires a wheelchair for a long day at the park. I looked at their website and it states that the non disabled person waits in line, then once they make it through the line the disabled person can then ride. To me thats kind of a dumb way to do that, considering she wouldn't be able to roll herself up the exit to meet me. (Unless I'm just a dumb dumb and misunderstanding it) I know parks like Six Flags and Hershey have like a fast pass system..sort of. We had a piece of paper signed for that coaster and a time to come back. Any advice is appreciated!

Hahaha! Love the Photo TR. I am using my Club TPR pen at work. I have always used my TPR pens at work. I can remember one day while I was signing for some stuff on the back dock after I used my pen, one of the guys from another department asked to borrow it for a second. Hesitant, I said sure. I got busy unloading a truck and he took off with it. I had to go hunt him down. I said..can I get my pen back?? Please?? He looked at me and said, ur serious?? I'm like, yup, this pen is gold to me!! He looked at me like I was nutts!! Some folks just don't have a clue!!

Really awesome pics!! I loved the uniqueness of them!! ^^That guy in the front right seat in the white shirt...his expression is priceless!! LOL! I am insanely excited. I just bought some plane tickets for a weekend trip in June. Back to the park that started my insane love for coasters. Crazy that I305 sits in the location extremely close to where I rode my very first steel coaster with a loop, " The King Kobra"!! I can remember my mom and I getting on an off that thing about 10 times in a row, running to it like a bunch of crazies!! It has been 20 years since KD was my homepark and just as long since I was there. Can't wait!!! -
Going to parks alone?
cedarpointfangirl replied to alilstronger's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I live about 12 miles from Six Flags over Texas and love to spend time there. I go to the park by myself alot. I love to ride, and most of my friends just don't share the same passion that I do. I take my cousin on occasion because she loves to ride too. If I had a couple of enthusiast friends to meet up with all the time it would be great. But taking a non enthusiast just drags me down sometimes. So therefore I would rather enjoy the park alone and go at my own pace. If I want to ride Titan 10 times in a row I don't want to hear bitchin' and moaning!! I love taking pictures and such too, and I would rather do that on some alone time then having my friends complain because of my coaster pics.I mostly enjoy going in the evenings. Say sometimes on a nice summer evening on a Sunday. If the parks open till 10pm I'll go about 7pm. Get a few rides in, the crowd is thinning out and I can really enjoy the park. Sit back and people watch or grab me a bite to eat! Just the atmosphere alone is refreshing and gets my mind off the work, school, and life in general!! I was glad to meet Jim @ WCB last year because him and I just clicked and enjoyed the "Bash"together. This year we got to share expenses and do some other things around L.A. We had a great time at this years. I look forward to WCB 2011. I just wished he lived in Texas because I would have my amusement park buddy. -

^^ I did the VIP tour last year when I was in town for WCB. I absolutely loved it. The private tours are awesome. I'm not sure if the show "Life" is on anymore, but they took us onto the set. The food was great, it was a buffet and had some very well prepared dishes. I believe last year I paid 199 pp. It looks as its is up to 239pp now. IMO, it is totally worth the money for the experience. http://www.universalstudioshollywood.com/ticket_vip.html

What are your "firsts" of 2010?
cedarpointfangirl replied to Pingu1651's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
First Park: Six Flags Magic Mountain First Coaster: Probably X2 or Terminator First New Park: Knotts Berry Farm First New Coaster of 2010: Terminator First Food Bought: Don't know..since I will be at WCB for my first park visit of the year I am sure I will eat donuts first!! As for purchasing later in the evening..maybe Panda Express or Johnny Rockets. -
^ LMAO!! I would bolt too!! I wonder if he paid for the gas..probably forgot that too. ROFL! I have to agree. I have had many instances where people on their phones have caused extreme hazard. I ran up on some one a few months ago in a 70mph zone doing about 45, I almost creamed them, then I go to pass and they swerve into my lane. They are absolutely clueless. I hate when they are in the store on it also, its not dangerous but they stand there in the aisle looking completely dumfounded.

Can I get my season pass processed at another park?
cedarpointfangirl replied to kumba830's topic in Ask Alvey
I can't find it on the Six Flags site, but I am quite sure you have to process it first at the park you bought it at. If I can remember correctly it should state it on your voucher. -

Great TR! I also tried the Fried Butter at the State Fair of Texas. It was pretty good, more like a deep fried biscuit in ball form. They take a small ball of frozen butter, drop it in batter and fry it. Then when you bite into it the butter is melted. Just like a hot buttered biscuit fresh out of the oven. As for the Zipper...I have too wondered what the reason is behind no single riders, I have been turned away too. Anyone know the reason??
