Well as of right right now I am really looking forward to WCB. This will be my 4th year flying to LA for it. I seem to get blown away every year. Such a great time. Typically I fly in just for afew days to attend but this time I will be there from the 17th-26th. Hitting a bunch of LA stuff, looking forward to Griffith Observatory, then do four days at Disney, grab a tour of Angel Stadium. I'm am sure other stuff will just fall into place once I'm there. As for the rest of the year hopefully Albuquerque for the balloon fest in October and then NY at Christmas.

TR SFOT - Holiday in the Park
cedarpointfangirl replied to robeclay's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks for sharing. I was there last night. The park was a madhouse. I didn't attempt ride anything, well except Superman because of the single rider line. Still had a great time though. HIP gets better every year, and I too noticed over that last few years crowds have gotten heavier. Last night I think they had a family night for families of fallen soldiers, think that was one big part of the crowd too. I love the holiday food too, grabbed me a roasted corn..so good! LOL. -

I'm not a big fan of SWA either. To many issues with seating, people getting booted from their flights. Watch the show Airline, there is a constant seating issue. I always thought they were to pricey too. Yeah no checked bag fees, but if comes at the expense of all the other inconveniences...no thanks!! I don't like they idea of AirTran being bought by SWA. I really liked Air Tran, they had great prices. Guess I'll stick to Delta or AA!!

Too funny!! What a dumb ass!!!! I see so many people not paying attention when they text and walk. I was just about walked into yesterday going into work. I had to move out of her way!! -
^ ^^ Wow, the glory days!! Thanks for sharing!! I actually used to be able to put my hands up. I used to love the backseat, it was so intense for me. The last ride I took, right before they shut it down I had to take two advil a half hour before and jam myself in the front seat to avoid all the abuse! I look forward to the future.

I am not sure what type of budget you have, but I did the USH VIP tour back in 2009 when I came for WCB. At the time I got it for 199.00 p/p. We had front of the line access to shows and rides. The tour was great, instead of the traditional tram tour they took us on our own trolley, our group was about 15 people. They let us walk around some of the sets, took us to the 3 level prop warehouse and to some other areas where they build the sets. One set we went on was the show "Life" which was a cop show. I don't think its on tv anymore. The lunch was terrific, not just a food coupon for lunch in the park. All in all it was a great experience. Well worth the money IMO. This next year when I come for WCB I will meet up with my friend Jim again that I met at 2009' s WCB. Were gonna do Disney, and do stuff like the original Pinks, La Brea bakery, maybe hit up The Griffith Observatory, catch a movie at Graumans, whatever comes our way. Hollywood and Highland is also a great place to visit. You can catch alot of the bus tours right there. The Kodak Theater is also there, and they offer tours as well. I loved the double decker bus tour, I just did the hour long one, they take you by alot of great places. Johnny Depps bar, the football field where Greece was filmed, some of the celebrity nightclubs, I even remember one prop house we drove by had the Dumm Dumm statues from Night at The Museum, the were sitting outside. So much to do in L.A. so little time!!
