  1. http://www.fun-n-stuff.com/ http://www.goodtimesfun.com/homepage/default.asp http://www.swings-n-things.com/ Wow, we've got more in my area than i thought. I've been to the first two and had a pretty good time.
  2. A kid died, lawyers got involved, Disney settled and some people got money. Just a day of business in the USA. Next... Curious though: Can Disney claim this as a loss on their taxes? One of those things I wonder about.
  3. I wonder if they're going to use this car in the next Austin Powers movie. Yeah, it's cute. Reminds me of the Ford Festiva.
  4. They should remove Thunderhawk/serial thriller and Mind Eraser. Both those rides suck. Leave Sue/SV alone. Maybe they'll just turn that park of the park into a ghost town. God knows, they've got the tumbleweeds forming already...
  5. http://www.meadvilletribune.com/local/local_story_028230819.html?start:int=0 and http://www.35wsee.com/news2a.cfm?more=9850&category=1&news=fullstory This year went like the last several. Have a new guy or guys run the show, pay them to run it, and when it doesn't fly, find someone else in the buddy network to do it. thanks for reporting on this, Kid.
  6. Not the cheapest city to visit. Hit the Smithsonian museums if possible.
  7. It was the star attraction. Sure Batman KnightFlight is a great ride, but X-Flight was amazing. In the Whacked-out rumor category: When stopping at the speedway station across from GL, the attendant said they were putting in a Cracker Barrel restaurant where X-Flight used to be. I don't see this happening, but i thought i'd throw it out there.
  8. ....this caused myself to play my new Hangman:Saddam Edition game for three hours until....
  9. lol...
  10. 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer. It's fun in the snow.
  11. ^Thanks for clarifying that for me. I hadn't heard anything about 50 million except what i read here.
  12. I wouldn't be so quick to blame this guy either. I volunteered at a tutoring center for JD's (juvy cases) for over nine years. I saw girls get people that owned corner stores arrested on sexual imposition simply because they wouldn't sell them cigs or just because they wanted to feel powerful. The guy that owns a store by my house installed cameras for his own safety and it's saved him several times. I'm not sure what it is in other States, but in Cuyahoga county, Ohio, the magic number is 696-kids. I've seen kids put their families or enemies thru hell just by calling that number. Manhandled is an interesting term. Should he have been 'womanhandled'? It's hard to say what he might get, I'd guess 250k.
  13. i could see them turning down 50 million. This would be a huge debt on top of what they already have. Considering they lost 198,000 at the restaurant and lounge last summer, they need to tighten up their reporting procedures. About two, three years ago, they purchased an accounting program that was to prevent such things from happening, but that, like all other programs, is only as good as the person that inputs the information. If i were in charge of CLP, I'd be worried if I got a 50 million dollar loan I've worked in the restaurant industry before as a night mgr. When we were losing 100 a day, all sorts of bells and whistles went off. Figures and inventories would not add up. When a case of 1/4lb patties vanished, we knew it that night when we inventoried. We were making about 10k a day. No way was CLP's restaurant making that kind of money and they were losing almost 2k a day. (that's a lot of steak and alcohol disappearing. Someone had said a while back that booze was always coming up gone a couple of years ago.)
  14. Skiing is my off season thing. SnowTrails Rocks!
  15. Happy belated B-day Soren!
  16. Update: http://www.meadvilletribune.com/local/local_story_011231458.html Looks like the 3.3 acres will be condos. I wonder how much the land is selling for?
  17. ^LOL abe vigoda.bmp Anyone see my prunes???
  18. I would love to see Tigger pull a Hanibal Lecture on the little sh!t and his family. Now that would make a good video.
  19. LMAO! Love the Headline...
  20. Happy Birthday Robb!
  21. But in 1997 it was deeded as a public trust, so it's hard to say what concerns may or may not be justified. I've read on several sites as well as in the meadville trib, that public meetings concerning the park were either never anounced to the public or announced after the fact. You may be right about the chest pounding, but there might also be legitimate concerns. Who knows, maybe the person hosting it might want to be the next head-honcho after Stearns gets the ax. I just don't think they want a Chippewa lake on their hands. I agree, it will be interesting. I wonder if their going to offer half-priced beer during the meeting?
  22. lifelessness is the number one cause of death. it's true...
  23. I wonder how i missed that article in the Meadville trib... Yeah, if stearns and crew don't show, it won't look good at all. There's still way too many unanswered questions about last seasons financials that don't make sense. I might attend that meeting. If for no other reason, to visit an area i like. Is Conneaut Cellars open on sundays? I need a restock on my wine cellar. Kid: thanks for posting this.
