Tigger hits kid at Disney World
FlyingScooter replied to Zen Coaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just curious here. If it's on video, and that shows Tigger to be innocent, if disney gets sued, can't they counter sue because the brat attacked their character? What is the differance between a kid commiting vandalism by kicking out a window or beating on a character? Vandalism is vandalism. Years ago i remember reading stories of disney suing daycares over copyright infringement. Why not sue the parents for unruly brats. I don't think it would hurt them by doing this. It would send a msg, mess with our stuff and we'll mess with you. Seems fair to me. -

I'll wait for Disney's Primal Rage game to come out. I want to play Tigger! -
The wacko that wasted the Amish girls didn't listen to Marilyn or even Iron Maiden. He favored Faith Hill and Shania Twain. Maybe someone should do a study on that.

LOL, but the bond was only 1k... Many cities and counties have sites like that. It's fun to keep track of old friends and bullies... -
i was born and raised Methodist. We're not supposed to drink, smoke, have premarital sex or dance. I'm not a very good Methodist. I guess i'm more spiritualistic than anything else.

I guess the year is starting off with a Bang.... Sad though.

Whatta joke this is. I can't think of any home healthcare workers that make minimum. My girlfriend's a nurse and she laughed at that part. Average in cleveland area for home health is $20-25 an hour. What home health worker makes minimum??? However, on the Agriculteral side: In ohio there are many wineries that employee 'legal-migrant' farm workers and they'll make out on that one. 'Sorry Felipe, I can only pay you 5.15...." As far as parks are concerned, i thought all of the ones in Ohio paid better than minimum anyway. ( have to laugh about part of this, as the Pizza Hut down the road from Geauga Lake 3 yrs ago was hiring people at 9.25 an hour because it couldn't get people to stay for 8.00 an hour.) Hey-Ho Way to go O-HI-O.... -c hynde

^ I couldn't agree more. But we wouldn't go after Sweden anymore than we'd go after Canada. Think about it, did we nuke Germany? We sure could have, but chose to nuke Japan instead. Why do you suppose that is? -
LOl. The title of this thread reminded me of Full Metal Jacket for some reason.

http://news.aol.com/strange/story/_a/holiday-shoppers-keep-buying-during-fire/n20061207161009990003 Leave it to NE Ohio. Sure, the Holidays can turn ordinary people into zombies, but this is ridiculous.

http://www.meadvilletribune.com/siteSearch/apstorysection/local_story_304223643.html When you read to bottom, click read more: it shows the Restaurant and lounge losing over 198,818.06 for a park that was not even open 100 days. I found that to be an incredble loss. (maybe steaks and booze walked out the door in large amounts?)

^Twice? I think they're up to five times or so. I honestly can't remember the last season they opened without a loan. I'm just waiting to see their complete financials for last season, after they calculate to rest of the food-stock from the restaurant. The restaurant was the biggest loss of the whole season at like $2000 a day.

Okay. As said above, we've got beer and sex. How about this: Last Rush you've gotten from anything else??? Doesn't matter if it's helping someone stuck out of a ditch or it's giving some drunk/crackhead/downer a dime for soup. Tell it. All good things we do mean something, somewhere down the line, if not to us, to someone we know, let's your good deeds that gave you a rush. Today, I shoveled my neighbors drive and walkway. (he's a type-2 diabetic Puerto Rican, they hate snow) He told me i made his day. Make someones day! Recognize when someone makes yours and pass it on. (and no, don't forward this to a thousand others.) Yours in Peace, Mzrk

When we went in 2005, the park felt like it was dying. I was positive there'd be no 2006 season. Last summer, with the Bug up and running, it had a totally differant feel. I do not understand why the parcels haven't sold. chippewa property at 48k http://www.coldwellbanker.com/servlet/PropertyListing?action=detail&ComColdwellbankerDataProperty_id=10400165&page=property Conneaut Property at 25k http://www.coldwellbanker.com/servlet/PropertyListing?action=detail&ComColdwellbankerDataProperty_id=9429200&page=property I thought i'd throw those in for comparison. One park dead, the other struggling. values are higher by the one that's dead.

WalMart blocked in San Diego....
FlyingScooter replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Random, Random, Random
No. There's really no comparison there. McDonald's and MSFT combined don't have anywhere near the muscle that Walmart has. And I'm very familiar with Microsoft. Walmart has the clout to push P&G around. Who else can do that? I don't deny my own moderate greed. But, there are other values by which we can govern our lives than just getting rich at any cost. Ginzo: You are right about Walmarts muscle. If they wanted to buy McDonalds, they could without batting an eye over it. At that same time, they could buy Burger King, Kfc and Taco Bell. I wonder when they will start buying insurance companies, oil companies and a few Hotel Chains. When a retail chain makes more than GM, ford, Honda, we're at an interesting point in history. -
Yet another example of what happens when Rock Stars kick drug habits. Is it as bad as Golden Throats: William Shatner and Lenard Nimoy sing! ???
