  1. The thing about Black Mamba is that it's fun and nothing more really. It's fast and fun but when I went on in last summer when it opened it really was just a 2 hour wait for a normal junior inverted coaster. Nothing too bad and nothing too great, it's just right!
  2. Well. They should be lighter then like a saturday or a friday. But in Mid-September the park switches to Weekend operation. The hours are at Cedar Point's website. But I'd wait till September, since all the school kids are rushing to get the most outta summer vacation at all times in August so be warned if you go anyway! Have fun and good riding to you!
  3. To the guy who said he's wanting to start his own park and build it, first try and start a REAL business. That's what Theme and Amusement parks techinally are, not some slap-happy "It's a Park and I can do anything!" option way of building. I won't get into the permits and crap, but I do envision you know how hard the building and money rising process be. I'd like to see you start a business and see how it is, I did a mock-business for my Economics class this past year and IT WAS REALLY EFFING HARD! Otherwise, if you can get past that: Good Luck and Happy Building!
  4. ^^ sometimes it isn't that. The channels do agreements and/or just rip off each other. Ripping each other isn't possible in this case, but I do believe maybe that Disney and Nickelodon share programs in Europe? I dunno.
  5. I liked how in one the photos above the 6th book it just says "Bread". I just found that funny, for some really odd reason. *slaps self* This is me at 7:50 AM for ya!
  6. then Six Flags had hella trouble and had to sell, and Cedar Fair came and bought SF over World and put in Trash Cans and now it's Knott's Berry World
  7. Last June. (I Think) When's the last time you purchased a song from iTunes. (i did a minute ago, Nickelback's If Everyone Cared)
  8. SPOILER ALERT!! I'm about halfway through the book and loving every minute of it. But c'mon, what 3-4 deaths every 6-7 chapters? ergh, that's extreme....say the least... But however in general, I'm really glad the books are over. I been waiting for this day and finally it came. THANK GOD. Now, for the 3rd Eragon book? that's another story....
  9. This coming Saturday will be my first Michigan's Adventure visit. Expect the PTR next monday or tuesday!
  10. Post a POV of this thing for those without NL. I really want to see this, it sounds and looks cool
  11. I post here every now and then late at night. But that'll all go away as soon as September 5 comes around (stupid school) then I'll be posting at Midnight or Later on weekends. But during the summer, when I pull a late nighter I usually check for updates or any new responses in threads.
  12. I'd do it, but my computer lags....That website isn't Benvenuto Computer friendly....sounds cool though!
  13. USA Canada Germany The Netherlands France Denmark Belgium That's all of it I think
  14. Anyone had the Triple Whopper from BK? NOW THAT'S ALOT OF MEAT!!! along with qaudruple BK Stacker. Ergh....my stomach.... Big Mac is just right. I get a Quarter Pounder here and there, but I really prefer Double Cheeseburgers and Big n' Tasty's. EDIT: BTW, does anyone remember the California Screamin/DCA promo that introduced the Big n' Tasty? I do, it had to be 2000-2001 when it's commericals were aired.
  15. Mad World- Tears for Fears The Gary Jules version is sadder then the TOF version. So I prefer TOF over ol' Gary
  16. ^^ Hear, Hear Wes. Guys, give it a break. They have every right to update when they want too, I'm just waiting for the whole sha-bang update when they return home in 2 days. I'll wait for them, I'm used to it! When I found this site in late 2001, you never knew when they were going to update! Just be thankful for this forum being in existence in the first frickin place! Can't wait to see the end result of the Europe-Spain trip. I hope it bears fruit and the whole result is worth waiting for.
  17. 2002: Roller Soaker @ HersheyPark.....ummm, that's it! had to wait 45 mins, my brother wanted to ride. EDIT: I forgot to add.... 2006: Black Mamba 2007: Maverick!! 45 minute wait on that too...
  18. Me personally, I would have to say it's a 3 way tie between Wicked Twister, Speed and Maverick. In that order too, WT has a pretty pinned to seat feeling as it starts going faster and faster. Speed is what I expected, nothing more. Maverick explains itself, you figure it out.
  19. As someon who's been banned before, DO NOT RESPOND! NO MATTER HOW BIG THE URGE IS, DO NOT DO IT!! I did it and payed for it, and trust me. You don't see me posting to these Spam Bots any more. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MODS WHEN THEY SAY DON'T RESPOND. IT'S WORTH HEEDING DAMN IT!!
  20. I'd have to say honest to god, go back to Crystal Beach and ride the SOB ride named Cyclone. Then after my ribs healed, I'd go back to Boblo Island in Ontario,Canada and visit them in their closing season. Just to pay my final respects.
  21. Odd, when I was there in August of 2005, they had a 3 dollar off coupon aviliable for Manhattan Express. Must've been temporary, because I swear there were some since me and my brother used them.
  22. The Garfield thing was actually worth doing, Old Mill was the dumbest, weirdest and flat out strangest dark ride I've ever been on. It was really all just cutouts and cheesy scare gags, like something you'd see at a State fair or carnival event. Haven't been on Garfield, I need to get to KW this summer if time permits and my parents are nice. I have to try the UFO Disko and SwingShot as well when I'm there too. Nice TR so far Swoosh!
  23. I'm the walking dictionary of Coasters at my High School, I would have 10+ people ask me questions about Cedar Point, Six Flags and stuff like that. The ones that make fun of me say "I've been on all the coasters in the world" and I say "Have you been on the Dog Fart coaster?" and they're like, "Ewww, NO!" and I just laugh and say " no you haven't been on them all you liar." while the gape stupidly and become confused. But, otherwise I'm pretty cool with people after that.
  24. I went on Maverick and it was good clean fun. I really rode Maverick as test to all the hype it got, and it impressed me to no end. But, in general Maverick is a ride that cannot be missed and will thrill generations to come and after I move from Michigan to Florida, when I'm older. I was literally hanging outta my seat at the crest of the first drop, it was incredible. I highly recommend this to anyone, it is pure and thrilling and CLEAN fun. Need I say more? wait, the headbanging issue, yes. A couple of you said your shoulders don't reach the restraints? you do when you fall outta seat at the crest on the top of the first hill, yes. But however you get little or no headbanging whatosever. In my book Maverick gets a: Maverick: 9/10
  25. One time I went on Mean Streak at CP, and I think someone tried to spit through the middle of the train en-route through the ride and that person's spit landed on my glasses. I got off the ride and stopped the two guys who were responible and we all laughed at it One of most gross, yet funny events I've experienced at CP.
