How was your park year?
Chris Benvenuto replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I had a fairly successful year, Getting to CP to ride SkyHawk, Power Tower and Wicked Twister for the first time apeice. And getting to 3 european theme parks while there, Heide Park, Phantasialand and Legoland Billund, the original Legoland! -
Just an update, I'll be working on and off during the holidays. So don't expect screen shots until the 2nd weekend in January. I'm busy with schoolwork and I can't updat till then, just so you know I haven't forgotten. The entrance is coming along with planning, and here's hoping it'll be done by then!! ttyl, CB

Well, it's going to be probably at most 125x125. But i'm planning on a 100x100 as a start. The park opens in 2000, so it's going have a little history before the modern day screenshots start popping up. It'll be something to look forward to that's for sure. The park will have 8 coasters and a generous amount of rides and attractions, I'm not the type of frequent updating, I only update if I feel like it. So if I get something like "OMFG post more screenshots" I'll just take longer, I want to focus more on the park then opinions, they count but I'm trying to stay focused throughout the entire thing. Screenshots will come, just be patient EDIT: I just forgot, I'm searching for example rides as I speak and, on RCDB.com so don't worry!! The coasters will be good.

Over the course of my pathetic RCT history, I have failed to release a park worth crediting, or that even isn't a lie (*cough* RCTStation *cough) But I still realize that this park will be something worth while. But over time, I have to say, my history isn't too bright when it comes to parkbuilding. I'm writing to say that, with my miserable skills is the expect me to take awhile, so with the annoucement of Royal Oak Amusement Park, I hope to show what I've been doing the past few years. Help with scenary building and station building would be much welcomed, so hold till this weekend, where I should have the entrance done. Or will it? just wait and see...hee hee hee.... Chris, Sorry to jump on the bandwagon so late, 5 days after this game launched. But, I think LucasArts did a decent job on something non-Star Wars related. No offense, Star Wars is great but sometimes I get tired of it! I just wanted to say congratulations and I hope to see more Theme Park related stuff from LucasArts in the future. Take care, Chris. Best of Luck. Chris Benvenuto (This is my real name, no joke!) EDIT: P.S. if this is the LucasArts I'm thinking of the LucasArts that worked on Star Wars or am I possibly wrong? Great Job once again!

Cruising with Theme Park Review!
Chris Benvenuto replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Dude, that video is so not funny. I suggest you take it off your post, Your hoping that someone gets hurt. That guy in the video wasn't faking it. You can hear his ankle break. I maybe taking this to the extreme but your post was in very bad taste. -

Photo TR: Cedar Point 10/14
Chris Benvenuto replied to dandaman's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I went on September 10th, Same as always. Walk-on's for most of the smaller rides. I'm talking Gemini, Raptor and Magnum etc. But, TTD was closed so MF had an hour wait and when WT opened and I got my first ride, it was 1/2 hour all afternoon. -
Harry Potter and Disney?
Chris Benvenuto replied to Adriel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If this does happen sometime in the future, Disney, Universal or whoever. I'm for it, I personally support this idea. It's just a dream for me, but in the future, if my kids could go to it as their WDW I would take them! -
Good photos, I got on Black Mamba in July. Really good ride, but the forces on the ride weren't too good for my taste, but very well themed. I liked the sound effects they played every time a train was clear to go. DUN DUN DUNNNN!! River Quest was fun too, but too short and I waited 90 minutes for that little devil water ride. Winjas however, was so unique. I'll never see something unique as much themed as that in the US. I refer to Phantasialand as Germany's idea of Disneyland, with Europa Park being their idea of DisneyWorld.

PKI ManJZ's CP PTR!
Chris Benvenuto replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did you get on Skyhawk at all? or Power Tower?? Those two are good rides, but the Skyhawk's wait isn't always that good. But Power Tower and MaXair normally are better though. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Chris Benvenuto replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Raptor at Cedar Point on September 10th. God SkyHawk was great!! -
I'm just happy that this morning went great, Plus it being my birthday today anywho.....Happy birthday to me!!

Hey I can help....just for Phantasialand....sorry I would really suggest getting on Black Mamba first there, it had an hour wait when I visited and they normally didn't open it till 10:30. Oh wait, there was water in the loop portion, they had to drain it....Now I remember!! But I highly recommend Phantasialand to anyone, It is like the German Disneyland of sorts....such beauty!! and Europa Park I've heard is like the German Disneyworld. But those are my understandings....sorry....off topic.... But have a great time!! Post a PTR when you return!! I look forward to it!!

^ yeah, I know it does get bizarre.... Isn't the Grilled Stuft Burrito like a quarter pound of food? I remember back when they released it, they promoted it having like, 1/4 to a 1/2 pound of meat and general trimmings in it....but soo good....!!
