He'll be in my prayers tonight. May he rest in peace, and be in no more pain. Take care and I'm sorry for your loss. Chris

RCT2 Error
Chris Benvenuto replied to Loco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^^ check internal stuff (like code) in your computer, it's not always the game. -
Hey maybe we'll meet on the drawing boards one day for a major movie. I'm going into the same thing in College, not the army (or any armed branch) but I'm also going into Graphic Design/Animation. Good luck out there man! and keep your head down, stay calm and take orders (even though you hate'em) and be proud....(this is my advice as a result of having a pair of US Soldiers as parents) And watch yourself out there! Celebrities and Athletes you've met...
Chris Benvenuto replied to SixFlagsTexas's topic in Random, Random, Random
I never personally met a athlete in person or a celebrity in that matter. Well, actually I met Dan and Casey at CP last month. My brother said he saw Craig Monroe (when he played for the Tigers) and Sean Casey as well at the movie theater he works at. If I was there and saw Sean Casey and Craig I'd be OMFG!! TIGERS ON FIRE!! -

Strange fortune cookies messages.

My favorite all these years was: "You will have a wish and it will come true one day" That wish was an MP3 player, and I got it! at least, I'm getting the player today or tomorrow. -
Mean Streak's line back in 2003 and DT's all the time. DT has a nasty gum wall, it's hidden away and hard to see but it's there. I'm sure DT has a bad wall of stuff somewhere and the No Streak line in 2003 had puke in two of the reserve queue sections in 2003. eww. I've seen puke in lines, but the Mean Streak incident in 2003 was beyond excusing.

OSHA are the biggest industrial safety idiots out there, I have to learn about these assholes in school in certain classes. They can be horrible at times, I do know that for sure! OSHA will never be friends with anyone, safety or not. But on topic, this is a bit....ummm....strange since I though SFGAM was one the more better parks.

Well....thanks for the 100 credits encouragement. I really enjoy going to parks, but I try not be Coaster-nerd at the same time. Usually when I go I try to have fun, more then be like "ohhh...CREDITS!! OMFG!!!" I go to parks for people and surroundings not...well...you know! I went to Idlewild on Labor Day Saturday with my mom and had clean fun, not credits. "I already had them, 2, how pathetic" But even though I said it before, Congratulations and Maybe I'll see you on a TPR trip one day and we'll ride together during ERT! Take care!

I agree with everything said above. Specially because I live 2 1/2 hrs away from a Coaster War park, CP. The coaster wars are over, at least for now. I wouldn't stay they're over forever, but CP and SF parks will relax for 5-10 yrs and then get back into it again. I remember the days when Raptor opened in 94' and how effing big that was, the AP went crazy over this stuff. But really the media is sort of tired of this stuff and 30+ million dollar coasters aren't in the cards. Didn't SD2k cost 52 million in 03'? and MF was 25 million and was built 3 yrs prior, shows the price increased greatly. But all things aside, I need a break from the big rides being built too I need to lose weight the winter before so I can get on in the summer. Thank god. Just my personal opinions and private thoughts thrown at you all!

Maverick - Is it worth the wait?
Chris Benvenuto replied to jason10's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
very odd, Elissa. I split off each time I waited for Maverick this summer and got an immediate boarding pass on. It might just of been the times you went on it, I was there the 2nd day the Midwest Trip was at CP and the one time I went on it that day. I just walked up those stairs and jumped on immediately courtesy of the nice Ride Operators. I find this tidbit, a bit odd. Say the least. -

And coasters that can run 2 trains. I went there for the first time in July, but NEVER AGAIN! one train operated rides are horrible, cept' for ST which had 2 and was great. I may consider going back if this rumor is true enough. Otherwise? Hell no! -
The Official "TPR MidWest USA 2007" Trip Thread!
Chris Benvenuto replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
What are you talking about? We were there all day on Friday. --Robb Dan told me and my dad that you and Elissa were at the hotel working on the trip and after that we couldn't you even when we looked around the effing park for 4+ hours afterwards! I'm not saying Dan is bad or anything, that's what we learned from him.
