Dear Sammi and Mom, Been a busy couple weeks and FINALLY got the postcard in the mail today. Look for a Space Shot postcard from the US Space and Rocket Center in the coming week. Ok, the last time I heard "Bent", it referred to part of Flying Turns. Maybe I'm not awake just yet today or maybe not enough caffiene, but if this a Flying Turns style ride, then spank my arse and call me Charlie. Or, I could be waaaaaaay off. Either way, we'll find out in a few weeks.

I don't know about this series, but can we have Robot Wars with Craig Charles back? I liked that one.

RAW was the first video I ever bought from TPR. I love POVs and this did not disappoint! Neither did the off-ride footage. Glad I got in on front end of this series and much looking forward to RAW 2!

Aww, this is a bummer. I really like Lost Continent for it's originality and for it's great themeing. It really did define the park in my my mind and it was cool because it didn't have a rights brand slapped all over it. I'm sure HP will be good, but IOA has just lost some of it's oomph. Obviously I'll still visit the park, but I'll never be able to experience the cool, original version of it. And if the Griffon statues are gone, Mystic Fountain is likely going too. I need a donut to cheer me up. EDIT: Just noticed that this is post 1666. Is that creepy or what?

What a fun update! More good (and wacky) reasons to go on a TPR trip. Enjoyed the bonus video too. Great Jerry Reed/Smokey and the Bandit reference that brightened my day. That's one of my favorite movies, so BIG THANK YOU.

It's dropping like a stone. Down from $4.29 a couple weeks ago to $3.49 at the corner store. Luckily, work and necessities are close by, which save me driving. Yep, I'm one of those hosers who drives a Focus and only has to fill up once in a week and a half or so. Hey, you save cash where you can these days.

^^Think of it as the campier side of already campy hair metal and rebellion. They meant to be over the top and goofy. THAT's what made them fun and entertaining. There were plenty of bands trying to be hard a** and more evil than the next. Dee and company were taking a humerous poke at that and just having fun. Think of a band today that pokes fun at it's own genre and itself, and you'll see what I mean.

Natalie, these are always a fun read with excellent pictures. And oh do you ever speak the truth on posting PTRs! It's a ton of work, but it's rewarding when people enjoy what you've creativly put out. I tip my Kavu Chillba to my sister creative and Chaco fan. Well done.

Leno's always had a sarcastic sense of humor. He even jumped on the Battle Bots bandwagon years ago with his "Chinkilla" bot. Half joke on himself and the sport, half serious. He'd be a good fit here at TPR. Cool segment, it just doesn't have the same zing without the yellow shirt.

They heard about the good wings and bbq here. That or the 7Up cake.

They both seem high and suicidal. Miraculous they survived!

Can't get over how thin the new Nanos are. From the front they look like a Mini rehash, but then you check the features, and profile, and it's not so much. One of my coworkers got last year's Nano about 3 months ago and the headphone jack is going out on it already. We were laughing because he couldn't just walk into the Apple Store here and get it fixed, he had to leave, "make an appointment with an Apple Genious", and then come back at that time. This is all so he wouldn't have to wait in line and to save him time. Did I mention that there were 2 other customers in the store? Yeah...... Despite that, iPod touch and net surfing was a major factor in getting a wireless router this week. The Touch is just plain cool, as is the MacBook Air. Time Capsule ain't bad either.

^LOL! Ours turned into a used car lot! Now that you all have mentioned this, I'll keep an eye out for these variations. Have had the buffet on travel and it's small, but it's good. Just for a laugh, I was a little kid traveling cross-country with my mom when the Personal Pan Pizza debuted (early 80's). We tried them somewhere around St. Louis. It's still a favorite, and it has some good memories attached.
