  1. ^ *sigh* Amateurs! They should've used magic missile and greater fireball. Good find Ginzo! Ack! I've been way-layed tonight. Belly Dancers and the rest in the next couple days.
  2. Would you like to join our noble quest? Two maidens, a mage, and friar walk into a tavern… More in a few. I’d like a +2 mace please. Good sir? Dost thou perchance have a butter knife? If there’s a saucy, fetching wench and a tankard of ale included, I’m sold. Castle…betwixt the trees. Hail to the Highlands and their kilts! Do you know WHY it’s called a kilt? Because that’s what happened to the last man who called it a skirt. I am the Dread Pirate Roberts. There will be NO survivors…including me. How doth it hang, Death? Juggling for Dummies. I would not lie good ladies and gents. A merry pair of minstrels. The woman played a cross between a dulcimer, and xylophone. Gadzooks! Did we forget our floggers and wooden snakes? Bow and quiver? Aye! Wooden sword? Aye! Good. We attack the cake pantry at dawn. And the scarecrows are well protected too. Thankfully, if you soil your armour, this shop has spares. Such strange dress here. The fellow in green seems the only normal one.
  3. At the end of October, some friends and I went over to Florence for the day to visit the annual Ren Faire. This was my first trip this particular gathering and the company made it the most fun. Hope you all enjoy! Hmm…and Angus, the rancher, still can’t find his herd… More pics in a few... Yes, a soothing, quiet chair for pensive thought. This fine fellow forges the dice and bears resemblance to Lord Gary of Gygax. Gaming dice made of bronze, sterling silver, and other metals. A pittance at 100 gold pieces for a set. and his caravan is well marked. Beware of St. Nicholas good sir! He’ll eat you! Apparently, he does this several times a day… Some poor fellow was turned into a pig. He got better… They modernized the shire with magical black posts like this one. Witchcraft I say! Goo-gahs and trinkets abound as the merchants show their wares. I’ve no quarrel with you sir. No. None…AT ALL. They take their law quite seriously in this town. Our parchment stated Florence Ren Faire. No matter, we are here, so let the gallivanting and tom-foolery begin! We’ve reached the shire. What peculiar carriages they have in Florence… Well timed good child. Well timed indeed. The child is fine, but I’d keep a watchful eye on that green-shirted fellow too. Odds bodkins! There be St. Nicholas at the bacon! A hearty breakfast at the tavern called Shoney’s. On the way to the Shire of Florence, we passed a horse farm that reminded me of Lexington Shire, in Kentucky.
  4. It's important to remember that text on a screen doesn't deliver the whole feeling or intention of the person. 9 times out of 10, the mods aren't doing what they do to be heavy handed or ugly, despite how it may come across. I've mis-interpreted things a few times here in the past and would not have made my mistakes were it a face to face discussion. Hope to get to know more of them face to face as time wears on. Translation: They're keeping quality up, not singling anyone out for a bad time. Just observation.
  5. Hey, congrats you two. Here's to many more good years.
  6. TATUM!!!! Get in here quick!
  7. CTU, That Wall-E moonbounce pic might make a good avi pic. Just a thought.
  8. Too bad it's not Pro-Slide or Georgia Aquarium. "I'll have the Behemoth Bowl Cut or the Fresh Water Mullet please."
  9. This movie looks like a lot of fun, especially if it's similar in style to Super Bad.
  10. The HDR shot do have a richness in the greenery and more depth to them. Interesting. You taught me something new today Will. Thank you. Thanks as well for a good Cypress TR. You and the other folks have done great!
  11. Guys, some great coverage! Thank you both! Ok, this cross between a teddy bear and a hamster with a button for a nose was pretty cute. Stacey is a brave soul for trying out the "Pirana Pedicure". Kudos to her. Visors with hair huh. I still don't understand why sombody would buy half a hat in the first place. Eh, what do I know? Liked the train-theme mini bowling alleys. Nice twist on that game.
  12. I think I can arrange something...if properly swayed by a good local wings place.
  13. The best thing about TRs is that it's that person's unique perspective on a park or attraction. Grabbing a pic of something you know somebody likes is always welcome and appreciated, but most of us just enjoy seeing a park through someone else's eyes. Checking the Park Index for missing ride and sign pics wouldn't hurt either. You might get a shot of something good and help a good cause. EDIT: My appologies to the Mods if I over-stepped bounds here.
  14. Good night to skip the Elissa approved hot dogs for dinner. Between this thread and Animal Crossing, you all make a great arguement for getting a Wii. Back to Robb's progress, steady as she goes cap'n.
  15. Guys, not to be a party crasher, but I've also been kicking around doing KI, SFKK, and Holiday World, or maybe Great Wolf and KI, at least. If you all decide and can use one more for the merriment, I'd be happy to make the drive.
  16. Something tells me Jahan isn't wild about the penguin game or the suit. Don't know the story, but will search it here on TPR. If I can't find it, I'd love to hear it. Anyway, keep up the good work Robb.
  17. Man! I didn't see any of those. Good job at hiding them. Will keep my eyes peeled for duckies for you and Moose next week while on travel.
  18. I dunno. I'm still recovering from the utter chaos the world was plunged into at the millenium. Yeah....
  19. Hey, big congrats on winning! Also very cool to get mentioned by name & my postcard in 3 pics! I'm most honored.
  20. Thank you BrownStreak! That was the name I couldn't remember.
  21. Some great shots in there. You and the other folks have done a great job covering the ride side's farewell season. Those of us who've never been, appreciate it.
  22. Dear All, RAW is an EXCELLENT addition to any coaster library. Seriously. It's well worth the money. If fact, even the wood coasters of volume 1 rocked, and I'm not much of a woody fan. Yes, the series is THAT good.
  23. ^Gary,we're likely to be there that same day. Dunno know on times or hotels, but it would great to meet up and say hello. Waddya say? Michael "who is also in it for the food"
