Even after a year, you are still a RCT3 god. --James -
Inglorious Basterds Shawshank Redemption Both tied in my number one spot. Both AMAZING movies. --James "I wear my Inglorious Basterds Jacket proud while walking the streets here in Germany" Flint

Great report of Europa Park What makes Europa Park great? - The unique collection of attractions - The atmosphere. You can pretty much just sit down on a park bench and relax. You will still have a great time - The attention to detail - The quality - How great the ride ops are. They get the queues moving fast. - The resorts are superb - AMAZING shows. - Lots of non-attraction things to do. Such as play grounds. - Very well priced. - Great choice of music and sounds on rides and throughout the park. I can see why you find this to be the best park on Earth. And I strongly agree that it is amazing. I put it on my top three parks for sure. The only thing I would change is I would put single rider lines on all the major coasters. But that is what I would change about every park. --James

Fact. These rides are really common in Germany's fairs. I've ridden my share of them. They are really great rides, but they don't have as much forces as it seems. If you like going upside down a lot, than this is a good ride for you, but that is pretty much all they are. Not OMFG intense flipping. --James

So just because you put a theme park by a large city means it will be a good investment? There are more than 25 cities in the United States with more population than D.C. (Which means if what you are saying is correct, and a Foreign Company wanted to build a park in the U.S,they have plenty of better places to invested in.) So with your logic, if we build any theme park just randomly by a large city, if the park is large with tons of attractions, the park will do great? Houston is one of the top five most populated cities in the United States. Six Flags Astroworld would love to disagree with your statements. I think what gets attendance is not quantity, but quality. So maybe the reason Six Flags America doesn't get a lot of attendance is because maybe Six Flags America just sucks, and building three huge coasters won't fix the problem as well as you think it will. Or they could just keep all the money and invest it into new things for Kennywood. This isn't RCT, making those huge changes would cost millions and would take years, and during a bad economy like this, I doubt that would be a smart move. --James

What is your favorite launch coaster?
Team Thriller replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've always loved Rock N' Roller Coasters. V2 and Desert Race is also awesome. Blue Fires launch is really fun also, even if it isn't the most intense. --James -

Germany did horrible last night against Spain. They didn't play at even half their full potential. It was a big disappointment. -James -

Does anyone have an idea about how long it could take for the ride to be up and running again? Do you think it will be running within two weeks? --James -

I'm going to Wiener Prater sometime soon since friends live down in Wein and they want me to come visit. I love that park so much, and this looks like a very nice addition. Just imagine this ontop of the Stratosphere. -James -

Your kidding right........ I punched a kid 20 times. I'll just punch him 70 more times cause... well.... why keep it limited?? The LAST thing I want to do is pay for someone who doesn't work and feels like they are a victim of this country. I don't want to pay for anyone who is using Welfare to buy drugs and booze, and complaining why they cannot get a job. Like many of these "two sided" subjects: as long as it is controlled, it should be fine. But there are also a mass amount of people who ruins the "tipping point" and messes up the system. (Like those drug heads who are to lazy to work and take money from those who DO work.) Similar to the thing I disagree with Obama with is 'Spreading the wealth!' I don't want some loser who doesn't work getting my money. Cause then people would quit their jobs since they are getting paid anyways, then businesses would go bankrupted since people aren't there working in them. ----- As for the drug, sure, legalize it, but I would still keep it hard to get and carefully watched. I doubt people want America to become one big Amsterdamn, (Even though a trip there is amazing) that place is full of wacky people. I do think legalizing it would help the economy and stuff like that. --James

I have to disagree. Yes, most boomerangs suck, however, the Boomerangs that are actually decent like Cobra at Walibi (Which is sadly probably the parks best steel coaster now) and of course the Boomerang at Wiener Prater, which IMO is one of the best Vekoma Rides on earth, should deserve to live. As for what ride I would tear down, probably Grizzly at GA and/or Limit at Heide Park. Both rides easily make the bottom of my list. --James

Mitch Hawker's Coaster Poll 2009!
Team Thriller replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm still doing my poll. But here is what my list will be. Top: 1.) Blue Fire 2.) Expedition Ge Force 3.) Favorite Wooden Coaster (Colloso @ Heide Park) 4.) Alpengiest 5.) Griffon 6.) Medusa (SFDK) 7.) Goliath (SFMM) 8.) Black Mamba 9.) Silver Star 10.) California Screamin I only rode X. I would put that on there but since now it's X2, I don't think that is right. X however would have come in the top three. --James
