Team Thriller replied to thomas2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I think it was said it might open 5th or 7th of September. I hope that we find out though because I really want to be there opening day. --James -
^ If that is the case, which it probably is, don't you think they would classify more of there coasters under this classification? --James
-
Must be a mistake on their website since Superman: Ride of Steel isn't a giga coaster, it's a mega coaster. --James

RCT4?

^ If they all agreed to do that. --James -
Awesome part 1. One question though, why did you go through England to get to Blue Fire? That makes a long walk even longer. --James

Update: Bobbejaanland Anddddd a wonderful day to TPR. I'm back in Germany. I've been to lazy to do an update. Forgiveness please. But here we are. Bobbejaanland. Where to begin. This is one of the most unique parks in the world. While Walibi Belgium has more of a teenage, ghetto feel to it. Bobbejaanland is a more well organized family park, with thrill rides. It was crowded today, however, but the park does a pretty good job getting people through their rides. Not the best, but decent enough. King Kong is their new ride. It's pretty tame, but a fun family ride. It more fun to watch then to ride. Enough of this chatty chat chat... chat chat chat... chatteddy chat... --James I end you with the symbol of Brussels as seen from the train. Ciao, and thanks for reading Goodbye Bobbejaanland! Anyone want a Rincky Tincky? My side is always the side that only gets a few looks down... And the loser gets soaked You get some floater airtime over these hills But you still have this one. And it's so splashtastic. This raft ride is gone. This slide is also awesome! I could do this for hours! Does that make me a kid at heart? Or just like weird as hell. There are people in there somewhere. It also does it backwards The cars swing up to 90 degress! I mean... 90 DEGRESS! Here is the sign again, just this one is pimped! Mambo is seriously awesome! Here is the um *cough* layout It's one of those whirl pool things I want some Poison! The good news is it doesn't smash your nuggets as hard. The bad news is who knows for how long. In the line however, the term "Family Park" is questioned. Here is the layout! Quick, call a friend so they can see it too! For you Chuck. Since trains go: "Chug a Chug a CHUCk a chug..." For you Scott! Confederates! And much much more! Mexicans! You get to shoot Women! Bench: The Ultimate Ride! This is actually the best shooting ride ever! Best. Ride. Ever. It's called "Random Barrel that Barely Spins in the Middle of the Pathway: The Ride" This ride is themed after corn! You actually ride in a huge corn! Trust me, I'm telling the truth! I demand clarification! Awww. No Molen Koggels today Koggelmolen! Oh yea, here is your overview. I call it, "Oki on the postcard" Down the first drop. In the back, this thing actually packs a punch. It's a vekoma. It has clowns... um... It's fun. I get to ride him on his butt!... Oh come on now guys. Grow up. "I'm depressed but I have to smile. Shot me!" I'll hehehaha Eat your hehehaha CHILDREN! hahaha Another shot of some ejector airtime. You know you want some! Including some here. Pretty decent Wild Mouse if you ask me. You actually get some ejector airtime right here. This is from the top. (Why does these last two captions sound naughty?) This is from the front. I actually still needed a credit at this park. The right track on Speedy Bob. It was ALWAYS SBNO when I was there. Not anymore This ride is one of those WFT?? rides that are awesome Here is the layout. It has indians in it... um... It's fun. It's a Vekoma. It has indians in it... um... It's fun. Phantasialand has Colorado Adventure: The Michael Jackson ride. Bobbejaanland has Dream Catcher: The Nantuck ride. What is that way over in the horizon? Dude, this monkey looks PISSED! Maybe Monkey Bobbe's.... Here is there new ride. Which has nothing to do with Bobbe's. Hangtime! And here. Some pretty high positive G's right here.... Here is failed attempt of a layout shot. I've failed. Sorry. These inversions are insane! Dis iz 500 feet tall! Da 3rd tallest n da whole world! Right here is when your butt begins its journey out of your seat. Look at THAT steel tree! Grandma Willow has seen better days... Since we all like Bobbe's. Here is Bobbejaanland. -

Big Thunder Mountain - The Movie
Team Thriller replied to ECZenith's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I don't know. You could say the same thing about the James Bond series and Batman series. Some are bad, some might be good. This might be a good move. Who knows? --James -
Maybe I've posted in this thread before. But I don't remember, and my list might have changed. But: Steel: Limit at Heide Park Wood: Psyclone at MM. That thing was the worst coaster I've ever been on. --James

Big Thunder Mountain - The Movie
Team Thriller replied to ECZenith's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I could see it being about a run-away train that cannot stop and they have to find a way to. Kind of like a family version of Speed. Or maybe it's all about the goat? --James -
Disneyland Paris advice
Team Thriller replied to LingLing13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
One day? You won't get everything done. Here is IMO the best coasters in the whole resort. 1.) Rock N' Roller Coaster 2.) Big Thunder Mountain 3.) Space Mountain I was there before Crush's Coaster. Here are the list of rides. 1.) Tower of Terror 2.) The classic Disney rides including Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the C. 3.) Buzz Light Years Astro Blasters I might be forgetting some rides, but these are the ones I can think of so far. Just get Fast Passes whenever you can. And go to the back of the park and work your way to the front. Also bring a squirt gun to prevent cutters. You might also fill a squirt gun with Gasoline just to prevent from people smoking in lines. But I think two days is a must. Especially with after hours entry for hotel quests. Big Thunder Mountain is FANTASTIC at night. Plus, there are no lines on everything. But that's just my opinion. Have fun, --James -

^^ Really? I've been there at the end of September, and I saw some decorations. Maybe it was at the beginning of October. Sorry about that. ^ Even if there is a little rain. I'm sure you'll have a blast! Just be sure to hit Blue Fire first upfront. Silver Star has the shortest line in afternoon. Front rides are amazing when you lean forward on the first drop. Eurosat is also best upfront. The back seat can be pretty painful. Anymore questions, just ask them, I'm happy to help and I'm sure everyone who can would love to also. UPDATE: Walibi Belgium Once upon a time. Before heaven, hell, and earth was in existence. A little Walibi Kangerroo asked god if he can have a small portion of land out the outskirts of what well soon be called Brussels. God replied, "Walibi, you will have the land you wish." Millions of years later, Six Flags Belgium opened it's doors. Walibi watched as this park entertained millions. Walibi was mad. "But god! You said I could have that land!" "Sorry Walibi, I saw the future a little after I told you that, and I foresaw great terror in peoples lives. I saw all your rides broken down and horrible operations. I saw crappy food, fish smelling water that gives it's costumers Leptospirosis, E. Coli, a bad cause of Diarrhea, and typhoid." "But God! That's not my fault. That is just the company that runs ski resorts and have no experience running theme parks. Please give me a chance!' "Very well Walibi. I'll give you a chance." Six Flags sold their European Parks to Five Star Parks, then it was sold to Compagnie des Alpes, and Walibi was the star. ------------------------- Sadly, all the years they ran it, it started going WAY down hill. Rides would be down for months just rotting away. The operations was awful. Then when they build Vertigo, the whole park turned into one ugly park. This year would be my fourth year as a season pass holder. Tuesday was the first day I went this year cause I really never had a great time. (Except when I met up with Big Mike and TPR of course. Sadly the park was at it's worst then) I arrived at Walibi. The first thing I noticed, -Vertgio was gone. That GOD! Park actually looks pretty. -Park was spotless -Landscaping was superb -Staff was above par. Seriously, I've never seen better dispatch times with the exception of Disney and Europa Park. On Vampire, the parks SLC, they dispatched the train before the train out on the course even got to the final brake run. All the operators where running and smiling. The staff was fantastic! Food lines still where a little slow, but MUCH better than they where. The park seemed much less stricted. The prices where MUCH lower for the food. I was in shock. All I can say is, yes, some rides where down. Turbine is leaving. But this park got their act together. I was very impressed. I left with a smile. Good job Walibi. I hope you continue... Tomorrow is Bobbejaanland. Wish me luck. Even though that park doesn't really need it. It's already pretty awesome. Onto the pictures... --James I was playing with shutter on the train. Taking many many pictures of the track. When I looked through them I noticed something on the way left side of this picture. So I leave you with this picture of a turd on the tracks. Just because I'm mentally unstaple and need help fast. Thanks for reading! It is a sad skyline. I really hope they get something new! The only wet part of the rapids... They where doing TONS of landscapping! Awesome! These people now have Leptospirosis, E. Coli, a bad cause of Diarrhea, and typhoid!!!!! 1... 2... 3.... Even though it is cleaner and doesn't smell as bad. It still is gross when it splashes onto your face. This people will suffer from some waterborn diseases My mission is always to get Pictures of the index. Since I didn't know what pictures the index still needs for Walibi, I just took pictures of most of their major rides. Here is all that is left of Vertigo. Seriously, you wouldn't have ever noticed Vertigo was ever at the park. It was WIPPED off the face of the planet. Superb. Before I continue my day. I have to make a quick stop at the Cow Room Here is it in comparison to Werewolf. I hope they build a good coaster there. Anything would be could. This park needs it bad. Here are the three islands. That car ride isn't even there! What a bunch of liars! But it's about as big, if not a little bigger than the land Werewold is on. Oh boy I cannot wait to ride Vertig.... ohhhhhhhh Here's the park map! If that man doesn't stop you, the trashcan will! They were playing with Werewolf. Werewolf was down all day. Now with Turbine gone, this is probably the best coaster in the park. This part of the ride hurts your groin however. "*BANG* OUCH! F*cking Vekoma!" Having more fun with the shutter They cleared some tree's so the ride looks more new for some reason. Vampire DUH DA DUMMM! I love their tribute to Michael Jackson. I cannot wait to watch the sh.... ohhhhhh Just joking... hahaha This is there new 400 foot tall coaster! Exclusive shot! I'm having a blast! weeheee woohooo Lala I either had a great ride op. or the park isn't as strict anymore. Who knows? I'll try it again next time just to make sure. Great ride op. regardless! This is the hardest credit to get. But guess what? You can see her fata$$ from a few hundered feet up... This ride has a fat girl smashing grapes to make whine for us men. Good theming! Best name ever! Totally! This is the on crack chef who thinks he's a tea pot. wtf? I cannot wait to ride Buzzs..... awwwww This ride was kinda tilting to one side. But I'm glad they didn't shut it down since I wanted to ride it so bad... I cannot wait to see my phot..... ohhhhhhh It has some fun moments. Little airtime here and there. No where near as good as Colorado Adevnture or BTMR at DLP. This coaster is decent Here is what causes the smell of fish. What a second. FISH causes the smell. OMFG! sigh Moment of silence please I could look at this picture all day long. Woohooo! This is A.) My butt B.) A portal to another world C.) the entery to a space ship. Flip through the next few pictures really fast since it's like a flip book. Ooohhh Ahhhh Here is the overview since Vekoma Boomerangs are such unique rides. *sacrasim off* It's actually a pretty decent boomer This is the parks second best roller coaster now. Does that mean anything? First things first. Cobra You better run so you don't get run over by tons of crazy people. When this girl turns the key.... But wait, notice anything missing? But dang. The entery looks very clean and nicely landscaped. Nice improvement. I'm a really ready for a crappy time at one of the worst large parks ever. No comment needed. But I bet this actually does make women seem more attractive. Oh wait, that was a comment. Oh well. I'll start my day with some reassurance from the Brussels Subway authorities... -

^^ That is a great plan. Just remember that in October, all the decorations are up and some of the rides are transformed for Halloween. Also, if you can, try staying as late as possible, cause when all the lights come on, it truly is the most beautiful thing ever. --James -

Actually it's more like 2 hours. But Tripsdrill and Holiday Park are very close to eachother Philrad, Heide Park is about 8 hours from Holiday Park. You will at least need about two extra days for Heide Park. And those two days would be pretty stressful. If I where you I'd probaby do Holiday Park, Tripsdrill, up to Phantasialand, and Movie Park is in the area of Phantasialand. So you could do that in half a day for a credit run. You should probably end with Europa Park since that blows all the other parks out of the water. If you have any more questions. I'll be happy to answer them. Oh might also find time between Phantasialand area to Europa Park for a ride or two on Ring Racer. That can be on the way to Europa Park. UPDATE: Since I'm on an ITouch I cannot post pictures yet. However, I have LOTS of suprises happen to me at Walibi today. You'll have to just wait and see what they are! Tommorow is going to culture in downtown Brussels. I'll post pictures for those who are intrested. Thursday will be Bobbejaanland. Hope everyone is having a great week. --James
