  1. How did his visit with JoPa go? Just kidding. I like Penn State, glad that Pryor became a Buckeye though.
  2. Yes! Would it not be great to see Notre Dame go 0-12????
  3. Time to bump this up for the upcoming college football season. I still hate Notre Dame. I am hoping for a 0-12 season, but would be ok with ND beating Michigan. Ken O-H-I-O
  4. Hey Mike, Kayla is doing great, although school starts in 10 days which she is not happy about. We went to CP on Friday. Best weather ever at CP, it was 75 and sunny all day long, could not believe it was August. It was crowded but got to ride everything. Thanks for asking and l am looking forward to the rest of the TRs.
  5. I ride coasters for one reason, to have fun. This ride looks like it will be fun to ride. I like the layout, through the woods and some parts over the paths or lines for other rides. Looks like the entrance will be close to the Eiffel Tower, will make for a short and brutal running of the bulls in the morning. I for one think the ride looks very good and will look forward to riding this next April.
  6. Logo is very cool, ride looks like it will be amazing. Videos look very good. I will make sure I am there on media day in April.
  7. Despite looking at it for a long time. I still managed to miss #5 as well.
  8. I just found another one as well, on a picture that I looked at like 500 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn you little ducky. Just for that I am going out to get some Peking duck.
  9. Awesome report. Did I see Elissa mention a TRP trip to Oktoberfest???? That is trip I will be on.
  10. The money is such a small part of it. Just think, being named Big Mike Reader of the Year, priceless. The fame, the exclusitivity of being the first Big Mike Reader of the Year. Wow. I get teary eyed thinking about it. I will make up a Tshirt if I win. Go me. I will start working on my acceptance speech: "First I would like to thank Al Gore, because without him inventing the internet, this would not have been possible......Next of course my high school typing teacher.... my dog..... my insane addiction to coasters which drew me to this site.... It of course will get much longer.....
  11. This is too funny. I admit I saw the link and thought it was for real, however, this was much better than what real will be.
  12. Ah, yes, the inspiration of Big Butter Jesus, by Heywood Banks, Great picture of it. There is a great video on Youtube. The USAF Museum is a great place to go. Great photos. If anyone is near Dayton, try to get there. Great TR of KI and all the other places.
  13. How/when will the draft be done? Should it be set to auto?
  14. Great photos and TR, looks like your family had a great time. This is getting me very excited for my trip to BGE with my daughter in October.
  15. Great photos and TR. I wonder if there is any way EGF will live up to the rep it gets on TPR when I finally get to ride it. Somehow I think it will. I will admit now to my fandom of Les Mis. I even have music from the show on my Ipod. Uber LesMis nerd. I feel so free now. I think there are still some traveling versions of the show: http://www.openseats.com/search.aspx?e=461&GCID=S16600x005-thgo_lesmi&keyword=les+miserables+tickets ^^Must admit I did not notice the guy with the helmet in that picture. Not sure why..............
  16. Great TR, I am really enjoying it. I especially like the pics from the London Eye.
  17. Mike, are you planning on being at KI from opening until close? Kayla and I could come down to see the Show again, but would not be until later in the day, probably 5-6pm until close. Are you going to be there on Sat. as well? Ken
  18. Thanks a lot for the info. I will book the room!.
  19. Jungle Jims is the best grocery/food store EVER.
  20. I am thinking about taking a trip to BGE in October with my 10 year old. We are going for the coasters/rides and both are not really into the whole Halloween schtick. I know at KI, you can not avoid the horror themed areas. At CP you can somewhat avoid/go around these areas. My question: Is BGE more like KI where you can not avoid the horror areas or more like CP where you can go around these areas? Going to go Oct 17-19, probably hit KD on the way home with our CF passes for a few rides on Dominator. Thanks in advance for your help. ADMIN EDIT: Changed the title slightly, to get you some more help on this. ~Matt
  21. I was there yesterday and I also noticed the security, saw a few people removed from maverick line. Also had an employee mention that next year, it will be all Coke products in the park. I had not heard this before, so I was pretty excited. Pepsi is just plain *yuck*.
  22. I second the suggestion of Midway Market. The buffet is decent, it is in A/C and unlimited refills and unlimited desserts (YUM). I can usually get by with eating there around 1 or 2 and getting by on snacks until we leave the park. I really find most of the walk up burger places horrible. There is a Panda Express in Frontier Town, so while it is a little pricier than Panda Express outside the park, you know what you are going to get. Also, if you are paying for parking, you do get one return. I have left the park before and gone to East of Chicago Pizza on the causeway. metric ton of pizza, salad, for .. i think it was 6.99 last year. May have gone up since.
  23. Mike, great TRs. I enjoyed all of them. Thanks for taking the time to do them. KTs tries to get France checked off are great. If you pass through Ohio on your travels to the parks, let me know.
