JZ's Ongoing Kings Island Update Thread!

Any word on when this will be officially announced? I was thinking the Robby Kneivel jump would be a good time for an announcement. -
Andy Dufresne: If they ever try to trace any of those accounts, they're gonna end up chasing a figment of my imagination. Red: Well, I'll be damned. Did I say you were good? *hi&, you're a Rembrandt! Andy Dufresne: Yeah. The funny thing is - on the outside, I was an honest man, straight as an arrow. I had to come to prison to be a crook. Goodfellas

Accident on Wildcat at Cedar Point
slither37 replied to Airtime&Gravity's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wildcat broke down on opening day just as I was about to get on. I see suggestions for a Wild Mouse to be built in this coaster's place, Would it fit where Wildcat is now? CP will not want to remove any of that precious concrete in front of it. -

My vote would be for 'Big Mike around the world" using the photos of Big Mike on his thread and getting creative where to photoshop them. -

Great TR. I was watching the web cams on 5/12 and was thinking WOW, there is no one there! Was everything operating on 5/12? May have to get up there this week. -
Can not say for sure as I can not be everywhere in the park at once, but I saw maverick was down at around noon and the next time I was by there was 530 and it was down then too. Raptor was down a few times. I was in line for WT when it went down briefly (20 minutes). Will say that my ride on Mean Streak was not as painful as it usually is.

Am I missing any others that broke down several times on opening day at CP? Glad I got my Maverick ride in right after 9am. Crowds were huge, lots of school trips. Weather was perfect, absolutely perfect. Will give kudos to CP's season pass processing, was in and out and had my pass in hand in literally less than 2 mintues (got there at 830am). Did run into a few TPR people working at CP. Was nice getting a hello from you all.

I would think that every video podcast should have a Kidtums segment as she is just too darn cute not to. -

Photo TR: The Quest For Missing Credits.
slither37 replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Fantastic TR. Getting me very excited for my trip to BGE and KD in June. I am going to DC first so, I may have to slip in SFA as well. If anyone could give suggestions on what days to go go to these parks I would appreciate it very much. I will be in the are for an entire week starting June 21. have employee passes to BGE and Cedar Fair season passes. I was planning on going to KD on Wednesday as there appear to be some 'Point Perks' i can take advantage of. Please, any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for the comparison between Griffon and Shiekra. i will be getting the Griffon credit and my daughter will then have both as she rode Shiekra without me. is that grounds for disownment? -
Great trip report. Going to be in Williamsburg/Richmond the week of June 23 to hit BGE and KD. Any suggestions on which day of the week we should go to each park? I was thinking about going to KD on Wed. to make the most of the points perks, but would like any other opinions. Thanks.

Again, this is why I find your position strange, because, I actually agree with you in that I feel that the animals we eat are in the same category as your 1 day old kitten (NOT THE UNBORN BABY, or as you put it, fetus). How does a cow or a pig or a turkey know what is going on in the world? To me, a cow, pig, turkey, chicken are here for sustenance. That and all taste good. I place human life above animal life, call me crazy. Based on your statement, if something does not have a personality or is not aware of what is going on in the world, that creature is irrelevant? Do cows, pigs, turkeys and chickens have personalities? (scene from Pulp Fiction comes to mind)

I have met several vegans, and I always find it strange that after the vegans I have met tell me about the animals that I eat, I then ask them: Are you pro-choice or pro-life? All I have asked thus far have been pro-choice, which kind of surprised me. I was told that eating an animal was wrong, but abortion should remain legal. I am not making a judgment one way or the other. I thought that someone who would care so much about an animal's life, would also care that much for an unborn baby. I DO NOT want to get that arguement going and before I am shouted down, I know, I know, pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion, so please do not respond that I have said it is. I do love animals and do not see a problem saying that I do even though I enjoy eating meat. Say what you will. I will also never condemn or think differently of those who are vegans or vegetarians. There was one guy in my Navy boot camp company that was vegan, i made sure I always sat next to him at meals Aren't human teeth the way they are because we are omnivorous? Some animals can not eat meat because of their teeth and digestive system. I do not know enough about this subject, so if someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it.
