As far as no one being better than the Buckeyes, I am glad that OU is not in the title game. So I would have actually placed OU vs OSU in the title game. I actually think that OSU has a better chance of beating LSU than it would OU.

How about a friendly wager Beemerboy? I say the Buckeyes beat LSU straight up. If OSU wins, you make a .wav file of yourself singing "Across the Field" If LSU wins, I will do similar to the fight song of your choice???? Except of course Notre Dame's.

You put the teams you would have in a playoff, but which teams would have playing for the national championship in the current system? What teams deserve, in your opinion, to be in the title game? < ND hater, got very tired of the Brady Quinn love fest last year. I also wonder why Weis has not been fired. Seemed like Willingham had a better record. So I am not sorry to annoy you. I just can not stand ND or their fans, but not as much as I despise the Denver Broncos or their fans. My level of apathy of any ND fans feelings about me as ND hater can not really be measured or over stated.

Why all the hate of the Buckeyes? I can understand the Hurricanes fan, still upset about the loss (yes it was a penalty and you had 4 tries to tie the score, several from the 1), but why everyone else? I simply do not understand why people have no problem with a 2 loss team being in the title game, but yell about the Buckeyes being there. Was the OSU schedule weaker than some? Yes, but what fault is that of the Buckeyes? Will LSU beat the Buckeyes, I do not know, but I do know the Buckeyes have the better coach and the same mistakes of last year will not be made again. After watching the Oklahoma and Mizzou game, I would actually like to see OU v. OSU. It perhaps should be Hawaii v. OSU. I do not see how an undefeated Div 1. team gets left out of the title game. I was surprised that somehow, Notre Dame did not get invited to a bowl game........... Was Tyrone that bad?

I know I am far behind the times, but I just started my collection with Coaster Expedition 1 which is most excellent. It is fun to see all the TPR people having such a great time. Robb does a great job filming the coasters both off ride and POV. You can not get a better deal than 10.00 per DVD. I will be ordering more very soon. Of course I am thinking I am going to have to get the newest one next. If you are a coaster junkie like me and my daughter, you have to have these DVDs. I hate winter in Ohio.

I actually like the close up shots, although as I say that I realize that I am uber coaster nerd. I hate winters in Ohio.

There is always a critic. I guess I am one too. Could you please have random naked women soaping each other up in the stations in your future DVDs? and oh yeah, make sure there is coaster noise too? No? Darn, I guess I will continue to be happy with whatever is on the DVDs the way they are, which are fun. I just started my collection and I love Coaster Expedition #1. Looking forward to the rest of the DVDs.

Great pics and update. Kings Island also used to have the spin and puke barrells. I think you can see it in the episode of the Brady Bunch when stupid Jan lost the bluerprints. Damn her. Did the ride in Japan tilt up? I agree with you Robb on the icky pepsi in the picture with Kidtums. I think you should institute a no-pepsi rule on future TPR trips. Anyone caught consuming pepsi would be kicked off the trip. Can you imagine how awful a frozen pepsi would taste? Come to think of it, I, personally, can not recall ever seeing frozen pepsi for sale anywhere.

Great photos, I almost believed the 2nd one, what tipped me off was that there were only 10 trash cans in the picture. OBVIOUSLY not enough for a Cedar Fair park.

Good luck Robb. I am trying to lose some as well. the seat belts on MF and TTD were getting a wee bit tight at the end of the season. Challenging time of the year to do it as well.

I do not know if Cedar Point will be open then, opening day this year was 5/12, and although hotels are plentiful near CP, an airport may not be, Cleveland is about 60 miles away.

Although, it has already been named, the sheer horribleness of Mean Streak makes it worthy of another mention here.

I stayed in Sandusky last weekend at America's Best Value Inn on 250. it is near the Wal-Mart and right across from the next, new indoor water park. The room was clean and it was quiet. Can not complain too much. However, I stayed at the Best Budget Inn earlier this year and it was not so good. This is the location right by the causeway. Very noisy and during the one night I stayed there, I know there were at least 2 visits by the police for reasons unknown.

Good question, On most steel I like the middle, but ALWAYS want front seat on an inverted or launched coaster. But with MF, middle is good, as it is on Maverick and Dominator. On some coasters I like the back, to get the rip on the first drop. Magnum and Beast and Vortex at KI are two like this. Only rode one Flying coaster, do not think seats matter much on those at all.

One time the book store was having a GIANT BOOK SALE. I went inside and all the books were normal size!?!??!?!?!

I understand this to a point, however, I remember the first year Raptor opened at CP. Was the first inverted I had been on. Went through the line once and sat in the first available seat,The next time, I wanted to wait for the front. I was told I could not wait for the front seat and to get on the ride. This did not sit well with me. I told the employee that I spent some cash to get into the park and if I wanted to wait 10 hours for a ride in the front, I should be able to. This was all futile. I got on the ride and then went to Park Ops, who agreed with me and called the ride and I was told that if I went through the line again, I would be permitted to wait for the front. Unfortunately, I did not have time to wait again. Yes, you are correct that it is not our ride, however, it WAS our money used to get into the park. I do not ask for special treatment and am willing to wait, but there are some rides, like inverteds, that I would like to ride the front seat.
