Who is???????? Great TR Craig, too bad it rained so much. The trip also looked like a great time...... Perhaps we can arrange a trip together to say the PA parks next year? Let me know if/when you are going to CP this year again, we will come up.

I am not a big fan of CCMR either, I just do think that CP will want to tear it down. A coaster weaving between the turns of MF would be pretty good.

Kings Island on 7/12

Seems like a rather cramped area to be building. I do not think that cedar creek mine ride is coming down, so could this be just some utilities moving? I did see some stuff going on the island when riding MF, but i was thinking this was for Halloween.

HMmm, yes, Aces High would be a great Maiden song for the coaster, so would Prowler, but would that song go better on Prowler the coaster? Of course, I will not be completely satisfied until there is Iron Maiden: The Ride. Could be like EE, only more intense and instead of Yeti, it is Eddie.All the while blaring all Maiden songs. Then next to it would be a coaster themed after Metallica, hey come to think of it, wouldn't a theme park about music be cool? I bet a good place for it would be in... oh I don't know.... Myrtle Beach? Up The Irons!

Kickstart my Heart for sure, not dissin KC, because, KC does rock it rather hard, but I am a child of the 80s and still musically stuck there. Flight of Icarus, The Trooper would be great songs on this ride as would Ride the Lightning, Breadfan, even some old Sabbath, say N.I.B, and perhaps some Judas Priest.... Freewheel Burning or The Sentinel??? There is a decent selection of music though, I would like to try a ride listening to each song.

Just from the pictures, I would trade 5 visits to CP for one to Grona Lund. The park just looks clean and fun. Elissa mentioned a nice collection of flats to go with the coasters. This looks like the best park on the trip so far. Great Trip Report. Would be better with naked boobs! But then again, isnt everything?

Hey Big Mike, you were the first person that Kayla met from TPR at Coastermania 2008. She would proudly wear the pin when we go to KI and CP and IB.

Mean Streak at CP and SOB at KI. What makes these the worst lines is what is at the end of each line. Screw waterboarding, put the Gitmo detainees on these 2 rides until they talk. No.... Geneva Convention bans that too.

Great TR. I was there too, and actually remember seeing the Griffon T-Shirt. I am from Columbus too, and wanted tot ell you that I find going up 71 to Mansfield exit 169 (Route 13) north to route 250 which goes right to Sandusky is much quicker, usually about 30 min-45 min faster. BUt that kind of depends what side of COlumbus you live on. Traffic on 23 until you get out of Delaware sucks. I can be on the causeway 2hours after I leave my driveway. Next, did you notice that the ride cycle for Skyhawk is longer, which was completely awesome. Up until this year it was 2 max height swings and then the brakes. This year much better. I agree with the ERT on Friday, I thought it really sucked, we got in line for Maverick at 11 after 1 ride on Magnum. We had ridden Maverick around 8 pm and waited 35 min. Once ERT started it was just as long if not longer. So we left after the one ride on Maverick. Saturday ERT was fantastic, Totally redeemed Friday night, we rode MF 3 or 4 times and then got 4 or 5 rides on Dragster before early entry. Then headed back to MF for more no wait rides. I was pretty done just before the start of night time ERT on Sat. but there was 0 line for Raptor so we got few rides on that and left around 9. Long day. And food looked good to me, only thing is I went to take a bite of my potato salad and there was Mr. Mufflehead, who sacrificed himself to get a bite of it. Kind of turned my stomach so we had to forego the food. I could not get away from them and since I was feeling queasy already, my daughter and I decided to skip it and went to her fave Panda Express anyway. Well, it was her fave until later when we found the Montgomery Inn pulled pork back by Maverick. Yumm. I was shocked at the light crowds on Sat. It looked crowded and there were lots of people in the park, but lines were very short. I know we must have been at WT at the same time as we went there right at 10 as well, which I usually try to do. Thanks again for the great TR!

Why do I get the feeling that I am glad that there were no videos of the dancing posted? I have not seen Terrence getting any statue credits yet, or will those be shown on his TR? I still never look at Snoopy characters quite the same at Cedar Point.

Front seat or very last row for more. I usually prefer the back row as I like to look down. Sometimes employees write stuff in the sand which can be fun.

My guess would be Kristen, but as she has been taken, I will guess Elissa. I know Kayla would be happy proud to wear a pin on our trips to CP Mike.

I agree, much more Elissa commentary please in future videos. Since Kid Tums can now talk, can we have some commentary from her too! Great video as always.

Had a feeling CP would make extra effort to get MF up and running for Coastermania. Never understood the CP bashers. I do not know of any PERFECT park. One thing I like about CP is the park does Coastermania up right., but I am sure that some other people will say that sucks as well and some other park has better coaster event, blah blah blah. I kind of like living in Ohio, right between CP and KI. Yes, other parks have better theming, nothing tops a (former) Busch park for that. Other parks have some better flats, but with Cedar Fair owning both, I am pretty darn happy as a clam here. I am sure I will get bashed for this. Why not start a thread for CP haters?

True, it was the mole people trying to fix the sinking Cedar Point, but the leprechauns kept interfering with the mole people's efforts to keep the place afloat. The mole people have said that Demon Drop is actually causing the sinking and have told Cedar Fair to sell it. Any word at all when the repairs would be completed?I would think that CP is working hard to get this going before the 2 hours of ERT for next Sat. morning.

Are you coming for Coastermania? Could not tell from your posts, but if you are a member of a coaster club, you can attend and no preregistering is required. ERT for Coastermania is Friday night, sat morning, and sat. night.
