On letterman, they had great moments in presidential speeches. Tonight was Bush saying "Awesome Speech" to the pope. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXwqQFS8t6o

Backpacking Japan: What MUST I see! ...Park-wise
spaceace12 replied to RudyIsMe's topic in Ask Alvey
If I was you, I would look at TPR's 2007 Japan trip. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38591&highlight=japan+trip -
Thanks for the photos I thought my Grandpa's 40" lcd bravia would look good in my home, this would look better. How much did this cost, or did they say? How many minutes of video can you record on say a 1 gig sd card? Something I found on the net from NAB, Imagine this runnign to a news scene.

Santa Monica's Pacific Wheel For Sale

I went to the ebay auction and was surprised to see a actual bid. I think it would be neat for Holiday World to buy it, that is one thing I can see them adding in the near future. -

So I revised it again because I found some transitions and the title maker. So here is version 2. If anyone sees an area that might need a transition or something, let me know. sfopeningdaywmm.wmv -
I think it is more of the fact that overseas there is quite a bit more tax included and most countries have better public transportation. I know in my town, we have city busses, but they used to only run 6am to 6pm. I think they might run till midnight now, but even then I wouldn't be able to get on a bus after my f/t job. Out in California I seen gas for 4 dollars a gallon on tv.

^^ Indiana has the Istep test, but when you hit the 10th grade, it becomes the Istep QGE. QGE equals graduating qualifying exam. If you don't pass in the 3 years you get to take it in High School, you don't get a diploma. Here is where I have issues, everyone takes the same tests. That includes special needs students who just want a diploma. My sister did not pass and did not want to go to college, she just wanted a diploma. All she got was a certificate. She has talked about doing the GED.

If you can run your debit card as a credit card at stores, I would say yes. but Robb can def. answer this.

Music is maxxed. This is one of those personal preferences. I prefer a little more natural sound, There was only one instance where I need to bring down the sound of a coaster a little and that was right near the beg. Bussink Evolution? You mean the thing I had in the video, spinning and going upside down? If so, no, I don't do spinning rides that well (THBS sometimes gets where I just have to look down at the car and no look around depending on how much spinning is going on) and I havent' tried it yet. -
Hey Wes, I know most others wouldn't be interested, but I would be interested in seeing some NAB pictures. One of these days I want to get out to that convention.

I will ride EK this year, just don't when exactly. I got something in the works for that though. Anyway, here is a quick video I put together with some better editing software I bought. So, this is where I am stuck, I need figure out where I need transitions. EDIT: See post below. -
My dream camera doesn't have image stabilization, because my shoulder is my stabilizer. My dream camera is a full size, broadcast quality camera that weighs around 30-40 pounds. For my current camera, little hand held, I think image stabilization might be on. The cure for non shaky video is either a tripod or being close to your subject. The wider you are on your lense, the less the shakiness will show up. The more you zoom in, the more it will. My ENG teacher's philosphy was zoom with your feet, not with you camera. That being said, I know there is times you can't zoom with your feet and I have my fair share of shakey video (some is coming up hopefully this weekend after I finish my SFSTL opening day video).

I had to turn them off during the NFL season. Patriots this, Patriots that, it got old. I liked ESPN up until they took Paul "Fitzy" Fitzgerold off the Monday Night Mania beat and put him on the "Pursuit of Perfection" beat. Even as a Colts fan, I find Fitzy's videos great. I think ESPN made it that much greater when the Patriots lost in the Superbowl. Back on topic, GO CUBS. Are they losing yet? Go fuduko whatever his name is.

Robb & Jahan Go To White Castle

Sorta funny, people say they cause stomach issues, but I can eat 8 of them and not have any. Infact I did on Wednesday on my way home from Indy. -
Expect if they like you, they will proceed to your second question. If you want the job, schedule one Expect the normal, why should I hire you and things like that. I also might expect some theme park specific stuff A truthful one. Just answer ina way that will help your cause. I would suggest avoiding words like uh and any other bad grammer I don't know if it will help or hurt you mentioning this website. I probably would have left that out. I don't know of the job openings or what the turn over rate at the park is, but if they are always needing people, you will probably get a interview.

t minus 4 hours till the crap hits the fan. 4 hours till Obama speaks at a local high school. I am not saying Obama is the crap, the crap is all the crap going on with work here at the station involved with it. And Hillary Clinton's campaign office here in Terre Haute burnt down last night and Bill was in Vincennes yesterday (an hour south) and at a high school 30 minutes north of here today. I can't wait for this week to be over.

^ He can't hang onto his old camera because he couldn't hold onto it (that was a joke). But he lost his camera in Austrailia, I bought a cheap 100 dollar p&s for things also. EDIT: Grip for 60 dollars. http://cgi.ebay.com/Phottix-Battery-Vertical-Grip-for-Nikon-D40-D40x-D60_W0QQitemZ170207308323QQihZ007QQcategoryZ15215QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem 2 batteries for under 30. http://cgi.ebay.com/2P-Battery-for-NIKON-D40-D40X-D-40-X-DIGITAL-SLR-CAMERA_W0QQitemZ300213518240QQihZ020QQcategoryZ48519QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem 83 dollars.

Not sure about the d40, but I have a d70s and love it. I suggest getting a vertical grip and 2 extra batteries. The grip has a place for two batteries and I can go months without charging them. I got both a grip and batteries on ebay for 100 dollars shipped, they weren't brand name, but I have had them for 2 years with no problems.

From what I have read, Six Flags St. Louis has improved a ton since the previous management, but was better when Six Flags originally built it. I personally find SFSTL as much enjoyable as Holiday World if not more. -
Camera Help. Nikon people might be able to help me
spaceace12 replied to spaceace12's topic in Random, Random, Random
So I tried the setting the time/date once, and apparently didn't save it because when I did it last night, it saved and clock stopped flashing. Whew, saved myself the hassle of calling Nikon Tech Support.
