  1. I went three times last year. April 29th, June something, and closing day. Out of all those three times, I only had one rain out (did ride all the coasters I wanted {Batman in the rain sucks}). On closing day, I seen 5 management people out there and had a descent conversation with them (a few where from Astroworld). I only had a couple instances of train stacking: Batman (happens quite a bit), THBS (pretty easy to do it), and once on Eagle.
  2. The only thing I have ridden that is not a family ride would be The Howler.
  3. I will do my bracket today, got another one to do also.
  4. Never been to Great America, but been to SF St. Louis 3 times last year. If you go around July, I say SFSTL only because by then EK will be open (mmmmmmm...GCI) and they are good coaster selection plus descent flats. Mr. Freeze is fun, so is Tony Hawk's Big Spin, Screamin Eagle, Batman, and I also liked Ninja. I haven't been to the water park, but it is probably on par with the average SF water park. Plus the atmosphere is nice because there is plenty of shade. Also, Superman: Tower of Power is fun.
  5. I don't believe the coasters were ever assembled.
  6. The only kind of racing I like involves dirt and ovals (local track is about to reopen and I am helping), but f1 is neat to watch and listen to also.
  7. If it is anything like photoshop, I can do them in 30 seconds each.
  8. Holiday World; Not much Charge for parking and drinks.........not. Water Park: Add the half pipe water slide Add a torrent river like they have a schlitterbahn Add a massive wave pool like in he Dells Dry park: Add a mini or full size dive coaster. Honestly that is it. I like the park as it is now, but those four things would be enough for me and they could be done in one season, but don't know where and how the Dive machine would be located and themed.
  9. If it wasnt' for the hotel and flight that would not be cheap, I would go next year. Does look like acool event though. I think tpr needs to have a midwest bash.
  10. Home: Six Flags St. Louis, Indiana Beach, and Holiday World (within 3 hours of each) Favorite: all of those, each of those have unique things to them.
  11. I am afraid some of my laptop componets won't work with xp so I am keeping it. Plus I like vista now.
  12. That is if you have windows xp. I haven't tried that in vista, I have to go through all my pics I want to post and resize them in photoshop.
  13. I agree with this policy, I got one last year, but had to throw it out due to be gross even after washing it. I plan on getting another.
  14. Mine is a tie, only because of the announcers. A. Six Flag St. Louis' train B. Busch Gardens Africa or whatever it is now. I have only been on SFSTL's during fright fest, I liked it and can't wait to ride it during the full circuit. BGA was a excellent ride with good views, but the person on the mic sucked and was annoying, "thank you for riding the Brandy Train."
  15. If you are talking about walk in shows, and not rides, I would think if they didn't want it recorded, they would say say at the beginning of the show or on the show hand out.
  16. best: last year at paoli peaks, the hill was complete ice and about 5 tubes hooked up together and went all the way to the end of the run. Worst: this whole year, not a single good snow. I think we got 3 inches once. I hate Indiana weather (this current snow storm missed my town by 2 hours, Paoli had 10 inches. And hour south had 6)
  17. That wave pool is cool. That is the first wave pool I seen actually make a single wave straight across instead of two different waves per push.
  18. ^ and ^^ When you go, let me know, I live 2 hours from the park.
  19. The shoot in the dark game is "Den of Lost Thieves" I believe, and I can't wait for this park to open, I need my dose of Cornball soon.
  20. Today, I finally started learning another instrument, something I can play at home since I have the instrument there. My church's pastor showed me some basic cords for bass guitar. It is quite a bit different from the drums, haha.
  21. Just so happens my weekend is 71 hours this week, thanks to a vacation day.
  22. I see trees in those last set of pics. Where did they go?
  23. Time to spring foward. This sunday don't forget or you will be an hour late to wherever you have to be.
