Robb & Jahan Go To White Castle
spaceace12 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I like Kirsten (sorry about the spelling, probably wrong) facial expression when the white castle is near her. She doesn't even want to attempt them. I think Robb's statement on whey they are open is true. I used to love them, last time I bought a 10 sack, I only had 3 and threw the rest out later. But there is times I can eat the entire sack. -
PTR: Six Flags St. Louis Opening Day 2008
spaceace12 replied to Six Flags Addict's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Lines in the morning, were okay on most rides, but 1pm, probably 15-30 minutes when the coasters where open. Since I seen Freeze was down, the only coaster I know of that didn't go down at one time was THBS. -
PTR: Six Flags St. Louis Opening Day 2008
spaceace12 replied to Six Flags Addict's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I didn't see you there, but I was there. I agree about boss also, it is better, but is rideable. And EK will be a no loose items ride, so the lockers are for it. BTW, I found out the opening date at this time is June 20th. I just got home so I will have a trip report up soon. -
Arson Suspect Arrested. http://www.meadvilletribune.com/breakingnews/local_story_095170350.html Though it will do nothing to bring back the ballroom (and possibly the park), atleast someone might possibly go to jail for this crime. Also, the list I posted above has been disputed on CLP's paper forum as some not true.

Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?
spaceace12 replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
40's and overcast, tomorrow, 60's and sunny, perfect for opening day at Six Flags St. Louis. -

Yes there is. It's American made! why my next car is a Pontiac Vibe, American Body name, Toyota Drivetrain!.

Well the thing is, that I have driven perfectly fine 2000 malibu and the brake pedal felt the same way, so I am sure that there is nothing wrong with it. It was my friends and he knows when something is wrong with his car. anyway, if anyone ever considers getting a 97-03 malibu, have it checked out, I didn't and paid dearly. 2 lower intake manifold gasketts replaced 2 wheel hubs for the front, they contain both the abs sensor and wheel bearing one caliper had a rip in the dust boot, so I replaced both. That was 1400 in repairs in two years alone, I am ready to get rid of it.
-
I am not loosing brake fluid. OTher than the engine noise that has recently started and a few other problems I can't fix due to no money, the brakes are fine mechanically.
-
Seriously? Cmon.. few cars need big brakes... yet alone a Malibu... I'm sure you'll get by with the stock assembly I will get by, but they are so horrible designed, the pedal is soft as can be (and I have replaced calipers and pads and bled the system). I have driven quite a few cars that all have 10 times better brakes (Chevy Colorado {whiplash stopping}, Ford Crown Vics and Grand Marquis, Ecoline vans {wheelchair style}, Grand Am, and virtually all the cars I have driven have had better designed brakes). And it isn't just me, it is all my friends who own malibus, some have even swapped rear brakes from Aleros to have rear discs (helped in stopping distances). My next car won't be a Malibu anyway, I am done with them unless I can afford a brand new car, then I am going with a new Camry or 08 Malibu.

I had been thinking about getting xm radio again. I found a place that had a code to listen to it for 30 days online for free. There is nothing on, I will stick with ipod's, cd's and ota radio.

NCAA Yahoo tourney Pick Um League
spaceace12 replied to Coaster_Cop's topic in Random, Random, Random
Yeah, I am in first. but my work one, last, not a single team i picked made it to the final 4. My theory, no way all 4 number one seeds will make it to the final four. There goes my 100 dollar gas card chance. -
aye carumba, that looks amazing. I would drive it just like that if the interior was good.

Has a waterslide ever scared you?
spaceace12 replied to Mind Eraser's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I first started going on big water slides last year, (I know, I am a chicken) I got up near the top of Bakuli and looked out near the woods and got sorta freaked out looking down. But after that first time, I was fine. I want to try some body slides sometimes, but I have only gone to HW's water park. This year I plan on trying to get to SF St. Louis' water park, hopefully. Paying for tube rental is crazy though. -
I wonder what TPR April Fools day 2008 will bring, maybe a Big Mike Calendar?

What got you interested in coasters?
spaceace12 replied to thrillgeek's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The Voyage. I remember them announcing it, I rode the online simulation 100's of times, then it took 3 visits to actually ride a coaster, but after that third visit. it hasn't stopped. My first coaster was legend, but its photo hut thing was not open. So here is my first onride photo from the voyage, second coaster ride ever!!! I am in the back, the bigger built person, perhaps a little festivally plump. -
On my car. Lower intake manifold gasket in 2006 and 2008. 1100 dollars total repair. I take care of my car, changed the oil every 3k with regular oil and 5k with full synthetic. Then I replaced my wheel hubs because the bearings went and so did the abs sensor. 100 dollars each. Brakes are way underpowered, if I got bigger wheels, I could get Corvette calipers. On friends cars, engines blown, lim gasketts go bad, wheel hubs go bad, and head gasketts go. I plan on staying away Chevy's 3.1 and 3.4's from now on if I ever get another chevy. I do want a Malibu Maxx SS though, if I ever do get another malibu. And my insurance was bad till last year and now I think I can afford quite a bit more, turning 25 will do that.
-
Go Cub......ss.....I can't even say it without laughing. Be nice for them to go all the way, but probably won't happen.
-
Yeah those, they looked like footers from the on ride youtube link I watched.
-
SS or LT? I have also came to the conclusion that Chevy couldn't a good engine that wouldn't have issues for a while, don't know how true that it is now. I had to replace my lower intake manifold gaskett again and now the engine makes a sound like a piston slap or something. I have payments till Dec. of 09, but I think if I take my tax refund next year, I can pay it off. After that, I am done with Chevy's, unless I can afford a used c5 or c6 Corvette someday. I have decided on two choices for a replacement next year. Any newer Subaru, but prefer a Forrester. Or a Pontiac Vibe, American Name. Toyota 1.8 4 cyc. engine. It is a Matrix Clone. 25 mpg in the city and 35 on the highway. Plus, I found a turbo kit for it on ebay, lol.

What is the footers for inside track of TTD from? I just seen them on a youtube clip and am wondering what they are.

Photo TR: Tagging along Big Mike's "Roadshow"
spaceace12 replied to sfne2005's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice tr. I just have a couple questions. Where can I get one of those yellow big mike shirts? And I think I need more big mike pics. -
Is it me, or do 15 year olds look younger from years past 15 year olds?

Maybe you should learn how to properly spell the name of the instrument you play... It was a joke on the previous post. I know how to spell bass, but I was being funny.
