Alright. I've come to a crossroads. My computer no longer has enough memory to store both RCT 2 and 3. Which should I ditch? On one hand, Ive done many great things on RCT2, and hardly anything on 3. This is mainly due to the fact that I have no memory to run it with, and it crashes on me within 5 minutes....On the other hand, would it be worth it to scrap 2's greatness for all the povs? This isnt just personal. I want to see everyone's oppinions on which is better....

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread
Reon replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hey. Ive been a constant pass holder for over a decade now. I know the place inside out for every little detail since 1987...And considering its my most visited park, I think I have the right to bash it as much as I want. Besides, they have Vortex. One of the best old school steelies I've ridden...Thats ONE thing PKI still has atleast Im just mad that Avitar wont be a coaster. It was advertised as "A one of a kind unique coaster" But what is it? Just a clone of a newish flat ride on a small half pipe track. Granted, I've never gone on a Disc-o, and it may be fun, but still...the fact that I dont like PKI's seasonal changes since this millenium started wont change. -

So...this will be the second time that we ditch our credits for flats? *Remembers back to King Cobra, and that bastardization which took its place* Atleast it wasnt Vortex. Otherwise, there truly would be no reason to get a season pass this year... Jared"Now looking at alternate parks to visit in the Tristate this summer"Becker -
Intamin Accelerators

Ive been on TTD an StormRunner. I have to say its a toss up for me. Sure, Runner has a layout with a nice headchopper on the drop, and like a billion inversions , but theres just somethng about going 120mph straight down a 420 foot drop This year I may get a chance to ride Kingda Clone, so you never know...*votes Dragster for being a CP fanboy* -

Bobsleds this close to Ohio? Sweet! Knobles is still pay-per ride right? Maybe Ill make a detour there on my roadtrip this summer... -
Ditto. The week after memorial day Im gonna be browsin all the Disney finess with steel band (plus we'll be performing at pirates, downtown disney, and infront of magic kingdom before it opens) Back on subject, Im going to Epcot for a day (and maybe again on our park hopper day) so Ill compare Test to MS. I actually saw an article on that batflyer once years ago (WAY before Stealth) in some random magazine in a dentist office. Im suprised that no one has ever mentioned the first ever flyer<,

Great job on EE! (Although it looked a little too much like your 2004 model) I think a random airtime hill would have straight up owned amiss the xmas tree. Think of the headchopper, and chaos... -
It isnt a traditional helix..It kind of goes up, then down, then up, then down again. Its kind of 2 180* hills tied together, while going in the same direction
-
Note that that is a premature version. The layout for Storm Blaster is very different than where it is now, and the theming isnt all done yet. Still, most of the rides are in place in this version, though I ultimately took out that top spin...

An old park I found while sifting through my files. I think its my best work so far. There is no elaborate backstory to this one. Its just a small Paramount park centered around a huge woodie called Beast: Rebirth. Here are some teaser shots.. THe second helix of Beast Rebirth. Probabbly one of the best parts of the ride, as it goes around the lazer tag, and THROUGH the arcade. Here you can see the park's 2 coasters crossing on their lift hills (Beast is on it's second...) Edit: The download is of a non-complete version. Im trying to get the current version up now... Rolling Hills.zip

As for Wildcat's line, it started out a small coaster, so it had a small line. When Legacies rebuilt it, they focused on the coaster, not the surrounding area...And yes, it will remain Project Wildcat. The idea behind the ride is it starts out small, then slowly progressess to get fiercer and fiercer. Im gonna try to make a PW in each Legacies park, if I decide to eventually make a chain... As for the Intamin, funny thing about it. Although it remains successfull, it breaks down...Alot. Especially now that most of the staff is gone Im thinking the next update will focus on smaller details, like adding more facilities, changing PW's line, and rehiring staff...
-
Immediately after PW started to become dismantalled, about half of the park's trees were taken down and moved over to the area once occupied by Wildcat. Soon, support beams began to rise, continuing where the lift left off. It wasnt long before guests had figured out the next expansion. Legacies presents for 2008: A reprofile'd souped up Project Wildcat! Immediately, the trademark coaster was a success... Park overview for the '08 season. Notice all the missing follage, and the remains of Psyco Spin's area.

Can someone post a picture of one of these "curcuits" on the coaster wheel? I havent been out there, and I cant find any good detailed pics of the wheel..
-
After 2 rough years, becoming ditched by their former sponsers, and gaining unwanted vegitation, Legacies is finally back on their feet. Reverting back to the methods which created the origional park, the owners once more turned to the tress to create a new wooden coaster. This time, it was a wooden mouse that takes place in and around the old tower complex. Affectionatly named Infestation, the parks second attempt at a mouse brought Legacies back from the grave... WARNING! The next picture may offend all credit whores/or PR enthusiests. It seems that Project Wildcat, the park's centerpiece is being dismantled to make room for the 2008 expansion...
