  1. I'll make this easy and rate them 1-5, 1 best etc.... 1.Parque De Attactiones..Great footage, catchy song, and overall great syncing. All the extra energy(random fun stuff etc) always adds an extra point in my book. Also, did I spy some sort of pan-around-the-neck? Auto points for anything steel band related 2. Silverwood-some slight syncing issues at the beggining, but otherwise solid. Ofcourse including those often overlooked monsters like Tremor gives you bonus points Also, nice music choice. Only thing that could poccibly bring you down would be lack of 'fun', but footage makes up for it... 3. Dont look down '05- Only reason Im marking you down is because I dont like the music. This is a finely put together video, with plenty of footage from tons of parks, and some 'fun' moments aswell. Only reason your 3 as apposed to 2 is that I really like that Silverwood vid...Reguardless, its a great example of good editting/syncing... 4. Slagharen...Good footage and syncing, but lack of energy. I know its a small/unknown park, but still... 5.Magic Springs- Age doesnt effect artistic talents IMO. At my animation club, our effie (7th grader/newb/what have you) is one of our best computer artists right now, and probably one of our most productive members. I wish I coulve given you a better spot, but your skill still needs some improvement compared to the others I saw today...
  2. Wow. I though you guys wouldve forgotten that thing by now. You dont know HOW tempted I was to take a picture of this one girls shirt on Saturday...with a big UCS on it
  3. I got part of the padding on a lapbar from Racer once. Cant remember where I put it though
  4. best lines: DD Flight of Fear Beast (Beast Canyon fascade, some minor details in the station) Jokers Revenge theme on the ride: IJST Disaster Transport xD Adventure Express Roadrunner Express (SFFT)
  5. As I arrived in the park at 2pm, my mind was set in stone. I had 4 hours to ride everything I missed on opening day. But first, Vortex! After my experience in my last visit, I've been trying to find the perfect seat where I get every bit of air that I can. This time the winner is the third-to-last car. I got slight pops on every hill, going up and down into the midcourse, in the corkscrews, AND in the batwing. New record anyone? I really dont see how anyone can NOT love this thing. Anyways, next up was Italian Job, which only had a 15 minute line (a common theme throughout the park today). The ride was running all effects aside from the speakers, so that was a plus. But the main thing is they actually spead it up since last year. I experienced quite a bit of air on it for some odd reason. Oh well, THE QUEST FOR ULTIMATE AIRTIME CONTINUES! Next on the agenda was Beast. After yet another 15 minutes, I was in the back car (not last row though). As usual, the trims totally killed it, but still fun. I mean, you cant top that helix with pretty much anything. Then came Tomb Raper...or not. The line went all the way to the entrance, so I didnt even bother. But so I wouldnt change directions, I headed straight for Nick Universe, where I went onto the baby Vekoma....with a walkon to front row =D As long as I was in NU, I decided to ride Avatar. This time the ride was rather forceful and fun. The key is to sit in the back and as far to the side as you can. After a trip on Fairly Normal coaster (which now is fully themed and still packs some old school airtime), I ran to the Action Zone, chanting "Action Science." As I arrived, and after a quick viking round, I jolted for Delerium. Getting in line, I decided that the 2 car wait was too long for me to care and left, ranting to everyone I passed about how much better King Cobra was =D So I did the only logical thing and went to Gillete Mach 3 the ride...I mean Top Gun. Kudos to them for blasting the origional soundtrack, which I love to death. As I rode, I noticed what appeared to be pieces for some water slides at Great wolf. They appear to be just the turquise used on our tube slides... Next I went to Drop Zone, which unfortunately had the same line length as TRTR. So I went next door for some good old fashion airtime on Congo Falls. Mostly satisfied, I went up to Coney Mall for some good old racing. Racer was running smoother than Recar for some odd reason, but Recar still had more air, and beat Racer almost every time. After a quicky on Monster, I went for my daily dose of Skyline. Wolfing down my coney and 3-way, I arrived at Action theater. Apparently the Hanna Barbara one IS the same as Universal. Then again its been a few years since I rode that version, so I could be wrong. One thing I noticed though is that one of the old Antiques is in the field of the queu. After a final run on Vortex, I had to head home....
  6. Im really loving this park so far (and REALLY hoping you didnt use TT, since I dont have it...) I always love a chronological park (updates year by year), and realism is always a plus. Anyways, I think I found another spot for a new attraction, aside from the funfair. Theirs this big semi-circle shaped clearing by the drop for the log flume. You should put a medium sized coaster or themed attraction there for maybe '93 or'94...
  7. You just have to know where to sit. Trust me on this one, I ride Vortex more than any other coaster, and I've compared it to Maggy. Suprisingly you get alot of mini ejector pops if you sit near the middle. But your bound to get atleast another pop somewhere along the ride aside from the first hill...
  8. *cough*VORTEX*cough* Not too many hills, but it does pack some serious with what it has
  9. Welcome to the forum! That ride looks like fun, but according the pov of it that we have, its rougher than Son of Beast
  10. *Copys Beast layout shot to hardrive* Heres some of my faves.. The transition just looks so beutiful from this perspective. And the train mid-overbank is a plus... This spot photographs really well.. My first POV shot. Diserves recognition just for that... I'm mad that this scanned in black/white. It was a really good shot...
  11. I thought it was just for opening weekend when everyone was getting their passes at the same time.... Maybe this has to do with change of ownership?
  12. Yeah. I forgot to mention AE. Its a decent ride by itself, with a pop of air at the end (last dip before the lift). However, its more of an interactive ride where you can pretend to reach out and touch the ruins or grab the gold methinx. Thats what I do anyways. I swear I'll reach em one day Also, Vortex. Need I go on?
  13. ...Airtime? If your refering to when your feet go up by 2 cm, sure. Otherwise, please enlighten me or just stfu. Letsee... SoB MF (lack of air does it for me) FoF (Fun, but the constant curve gets old and stupid) Your Favorite Coaster
  14. You...Didnt...Ride...Vortex? BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!! You realise your missing out on the single greatest ride in the park by doing that, right? How long were you there anyway? I wanna know if your another person I missed that day..
  15. 2 from Kings Island actually, *King Cobra: Possibly my favorite coaster ever. I dont care if it's a TOGO death machine *Vortex: Suprisingly the coaster "born" in the same year as I. That makes my bond with it even greater, not counting all of its lovely Arrow Airtime.
  16. Exuse me while I wipe the spit off my computer. Best. Caption. Ever. Even though Arrows are nice and smooth and perfect...*clings to Vortex*
  17. ^^I say close enough. And yes. I really DID start chanting credit whore once it was going full swing Before then, I was pulling a Robb by commenting on everything that was happening. "Were going forward..no wait, now we're going backwards....OMG WERE SPINNING! ...I think were not gonna make it over the bump...AIR-LESS HILL!" I think my favorite shot was of the POV on Vortex. I just whipped out my phone during the hold on the breaks, snapped a shot, and put it back away. edit: didnt see ^ post. I hear ya man. Any Cinci style food (other than those posers at Goldstar) bring out the bottomless pit of my belly. And Skyline is definatley my favorite chili in the world.
  18. Man. I thought it was bad when I broke the Phantom Flyers when I got in line for them, after stacking Vortex as I got off it first cycle through...But you win.
  19. Photos are now up. Check 2 posts above this one...
  20. And now, ZE PHOTOS! Keep in mind that these were all shot from my cameraphone, so not the best quality. I also snaped a few quick vids, but they wont format right for a direct upload, so you will suffer without my footage Im a celebrity! Sure does photograph well... More Vortex shots, because everyone loves VorteX. I actually pulled a viking ship on this thing (you know, when you start chanting back and forth.) No one joined in ofcourse, for obvious reason that children shouldnt be chanting "credit whore" More Skyline locations make Reon happy I AM UFO! GIMME CANDY! Exclusive POV shot Taken from last train of the day...
  21. HA! I was only in for half an hour. I win! Its okay that you missed, I just missed out on half an hour of riding is all (and the Beast line was looking short then...) Photos will be up...in the next post>.>
  22. Raptor. I didnt think the ride was THAT spontaneous. Then again, I only get to go to CP once a year, so I wouldnt remember...
  23. Alright. I got some pics, but there on my phone, so it will take a while to transfer them... On to the written part! After wasting my time in school (why didn't I skip today?) I finally arrived at about 3:30. Unfortunately, the pass proccessing line went all the way across the circle, so it took another half hour wait before I actually got in... Once I finally made it into the park, I went to wish VorteX a happy 19th birthday, the only way I knew how. (mmm, GOOD Arrow). After my mandatory airtime orgy, I went to check out NU. I got in line for Avatar as soon as I got there, but the line was about half an hour long. Just as it was about to be my turn (2 or 3 trips away at most), I looked at my watch. I remembered that we were planning a TPR meet at Beast at 5, so I jumped out of line and dashed over to the coolzone. Once I got there, I waited. And waited. No one came after half an hour, so I went back to whore some kiddy credits. Avatar was nice, but I was expecting air on that hill. Oh well. Also, I STILL think they should run the Cosmo train backwards on FOC. After the whorage (counting a disk-O coaster and a retheme/name/tunnelless) I was hungry. So, I went to check out the new Skyline location on International street. As usual, I got a 3 way and a cheese coney. Back to coasters. After dinner, I decided to score a few different coasters before calling it a night (and with only 2 hours left). First one I saw was Adventure Express, so I sprinted to the line. Fortunately, I got a walk on for the front seat of the back car. The ride is sort of like IJST in a way. If you only ride it, its mediocre, but if you try to have fun with it (eg trying to grab the ruins or the gold) its fun as heck. So once we pulled in, I took another lap, moving up to another random empty row in the middle. After AE, I went nextdoor to Racer, and jumped in line for Recar (which was suprisingly racing to some extent.) A little rough, but still some nice (though not even close to Vortex). After losing to Racer (stupid empty Recar train), I went to see how the FoF line was. None of the switches were up, so I went for it. I noticed they have some new lines in the station from the "visitors". Stuff about visiting each others planets and what not. My fave is after you exit: "Thank you for showing us you humans can be pushed to your*cuts off*" Copyright infrigment, anyone? After the launcher, I only had 40 minutes left. Naturally, I bolted for another ride on VorteX. I think I got a new record for airtime sitting in the middle: *Floater down the big drop *slight ejector over the second hill *slight ejector going up into the brakes *slight ejector going down from the brakes *Legs out of car THE ENTIRE DURATION of the corkscrew, while I had some floater. Unfortunately it was the last train of the night. Discouraged, I ran to IJ, only to learn it was also closing. So then to Beast. Surely their star attraction would be open right? WRONG! Apparently all the major attractions were closing 20 minutes before closing. So I did the only thing I could: RATCAGE OF DOOM! After the flyers, it was 8 exactly, so I had to leave. The end. Oh and as a reminder, pics will be up later.
  24. Sorry for the DP, but this needs to be said asap. It appears that I misscalculated my graduation date. Its the 25th, but I thought it was the 30th. Obviously this means the trip date must be changed. This is were I need some oppinions: 22-23 or 23-24? Edit: apparently theirs some senior award night on the 23. Guess were going for 22-23...
  25. ^Ditto. If you think about it, we're one of the largest themepark boards out there. Why not make a club? Ofcourse, extra funds would be needed for "True" membership. Then again, thats sort of what screwed up CB, so I dunno...
