^Unfortunately, the world is moving into a steel age. Woodies are scarce, and the only chance of getting one is if GCI designs us one (which I would not mind one bit ) I say chances are were getting a BM. Hopefully something verticle, or a hyper-floorless. Some record thats breakable, yet not that risky... -

Well, I havent submitted all my fees yet for Marshall. The question is: Get a major in random forms of art (so that I can make advertisements etc for parks) and learn Japanese while being in pwnage steelband, or work at an amusement park as a ride op or steelband member? Its just too close....Any suggestions? -

On their launchers, I'm half and half. During my first visit in '03, TTD was down both days, but WT was fine. Last year, TTD was running both days, but not WT. I wonder which will be up when I go this year? Back on topic for '07: I forget how much space WWL took up, but I'm sure they could fit a large coaster in there. Personally I'm hoping for a 4-D. Its something pretty unique, as only 2 other parks have one. Otherwise, Maybe a hyper-Floorless? That would be a record breaker thats feasible. Or a hyper dive machine, as others have suggested. I just want something verticle that's not launched there (MF doesnt count, since its only 80*) -
From what I've heard on the boards: yes, its real. Although I believe it was closed down cuz too many people get stuck in the loop. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I REALLY wish someone had posted this thread earlier I actually heard about this briefly some time ago during a presentation at school. I was SO tempted to do it and go for a ride op or a job in the steelband. Unfortunately, my common sence led me to sign up for normal colleges At least Camden is only 5 miles from Marshall But seriously, my grandparents live in fricken Naples. I could practically live in Florida for that if I wanted... -

First Coaster of the Season

Something at PKI on the 14th more than likely. My money is on Vortex, since I always hit that first... Jared"Screw you, Im counting Avatar as a credit"Becker -
^ditto. Actually, I'll stay a bit longer. I gotta get my Vortex fill, which normally takes a few rides (theres just no best seat on that thing) Also, I usually take IJ and TR for a spin if theyre running, and I'll probabbly check out avatar...But yeah. I should be able to go that day. Just need to get a ride up>.>

Only been on the HP ones so far. Wildcat reigns supreme IMO.

I was looking at directions from Marshall University to Candem Park on mapquest (had to find a close bye amusement park for incase I decide to go there) and this place called "Tristate amusements" poped up on the list. Its apparetnly downtown Hunington and has some amusement rides (according to mapquest) Also, apprently Candem is a 5 mile straight shot from Marshall

I want a crazy ball coaster. It would fit perfect in my ghetto park with Project Wildcat...and maybe a chaos or a gravatron -
^Will do. And Im already pretty much covered for college. Thank you middle-class life! Anyways, with our fences recently torn down, a new spot of land is now available. Essentially its a slightly swampy patch of land that belongs to noone, but it has some nice terrain, and I'll take what I can get. I;m thinking of a small wooden boomerang style ride. Heres a "POV" of me walking the course forward..I didn't bother going the backwards section xD. Not the best quality cuz I shot it with my phone, but you'll see the general concept. I'd upload the other 2 layouts, but the files are too big to send. Maybe I'll try doing it again sometime... Regaurdless, hope this works... http://www.msnusers.com/LegaciesRCT2/documents.msnw

Pepsie Park rct2
Reon replied to pepsie's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Its a very nice organized clean park IMO. The only flaw is Silver Star. I havent been on one of those traveling Schwart's yet, but I've seen enough to get the jist of it. I think that it needs a trim on that one section of flat track before the helix's. It just looks wrong without one. Otherwise great job. I'll give you a 9/10 for the park because I like these clean organized ones over mega-1000coaster filled ones... -
So you just took it out of your phone and put it in the comp? *I need to look at my manual more in depth* Jared"No seriously, I recorded 3 possible layouts for Wildcat in there"Becker
-
How'd you upload that? I have a camera phone that can record up to 50 seconds, but I cant figure out how to upload to the computer...Anyways, nice that its finally done...

Travel Channel Best of 2006
Reon replied to jamesdillaman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dunno. It was sort of cool, but it would have been much better had they showed a clip or two of some runners up. Also, apparently IJST made it to 3rd place for best new ride Oh well, atleast Hades made 1st Jared"Wouldve voted Cyclops and PKI Vortex for best coasters if he could"Becker
