Hmm. I thought it would be a OSTR. Anyways, I heard this in the car on the way to see POTC (great movie btw). I'm both shocked and relieved about it. As far as relievage, its about time somebody put that SoB in it's place. Seriously the roughest ride I've ever been on (its at the point where it gives me headaches after one lap, no matter where I sit.) However, I'm shocked about the news since it just got reprofiled...

I'm thinking of making some sort of skycoaster. All I need is some conviently placed sturdy trees, and some strong cable. Then just rig it correctly. I dunno. Just some idea that popped into my head... I did make a ghetto coaster out of plywood sheets and a skateboard though. I'll get some pictures of it once I get my hands on a camera. It was pretty sweet. A double down, a tunnel under a staircase, and a hill at the end, which launced riders down the rest of the grassy hill... There were even hints of

Photo update! The park's skyline looks different, with the adittion of the new mountain. First thing you see as you enter the Banshee's area. Overview of Banshee's twisted layout. Suprisingly no stat goes above 4, even though the ride features a 100 foot drop, and goes 50 mph! The completed Haunted Midway.

How so? It has that demon out front, and the ride itself snakes through a bunch of 'evil' spike-hills.

Thanks for your replies, everyone... Announcing the new section! Behind Demon Surge, the mouuntain range continues into a larger snowy peak. I intend to build a bobsled coaster around it. Any suggestions for other rides in that area? Also, I'm adding some more flats to the haunted section and naming it the Cursed Boardwalk. Pics will be up later tonight..

Merging 2 or more rides together via trainers. I haven't mastered the art though...

*Trys his best to hold in Vortex rant* All I'm gonna say is a general word of wisdom about the big V: Its one thing to taunt it, but ignoring it is just plain disgraceful Also, I'm wonding how you consider SoB as 'fun' roughness, yet Racer rough? I mean, sure Racer needs to be retracked (backseat on them =airpain), but SoB gives me headaches when I ride it. Otherwise, great TR. PS: before I forget, I place a curse on you for enjoying that which destroyed my TOGO death machine

Just thought of a few side-trips for extra coaster credits on the Midwest: Wyandot and Coney Island. I think we should stop at Coney anyway, because admission is only $20 ($10 after 4) and has some good bumper cars/boats, along with a nice assortment of spinny rides and a credit.

Well in that case, deffinately sign me up for the Mid-west expidition. I can't wait for next summer!

I think it's important to point out that we are not planning on "piecing out" the trips. Which means if you're on the trip, you're on the ENTIRE trip with us. Since we are limiting the amount of spots on each trip to one coach, which means about 50 people per trip, the park perks are only available to those members. We might make a few exceptions, but it will not be a public invite. Just like on our recent UK Trip, if someone wanted to meet up with us for the day, that was fine, but there was no guarantee that they would be allowed into the ERT sessions. If we allowed people to show up for the day and join into the ERT sessions, then there would be the potential for hundreds of people to turn up, and that's not exactly the point of our trips nor is it fair to those who paid the entire trip cost. Our goal is to have trips on a smaller, more personal scope, and to do them more frequently. This is a very different approach to other "club trips" but then again, I think that's what is going to set our trips apart. I hope this makes more sense to everyone. --Robb I just made that comment because of where I live and the limited space...I'd love to join in for the whole thing. Just don't know how many slots will be left after the bus gets invaded by the UK-ers...

Like I said, I'll atleast be around for the OH leg. If I can find the funds and save a spot, I'll try to stick around for the rest. I'd love to go back to the Dells...

Dissing Vortex and not riding Avatar? I should stab you with death. And no, I don't mean "stab you to death." I'm actually gonna stab you with the grim reaper. I mean, Vortex has some sweet air if you ride it in the right place, and Avatar is a nice forceful ride. /end PKI rant

I'm still working on BayCon Park, but I don't know what my next move there is. So, I started a new park. This time, I'm expirementing with mixing theme and thrill. Heres the 411 on the first section, with a horror theme. Welcome to the Haunted Castle! One of the first scenes you see when you enter the building. Going outside for a bit for...ZOMBIES? Another view of the graveyard scene. Taking a dip over the entrance. If you want to see the rest, you'll have to ride it yourself. Moving on... WTF? A Demon? Oh, that explains things. The 4-D coaster, Demon Surge. This double-barrel roll is insane with the rotations.

One flaw I see is the air hill. The way up is right, but on the way down, I'd only give it one or two gentle slope pieces down. Otherwise, nice work.
