Like extra sets? Strange, because I was thinking of that before. They could make expansion packs with small hills and curves or something. Then you could build your own legit jr. coaster =D

Little Dipper (Camden Park)

Just a quick update for those of you wondering about when the photos will be up. Apparently Krogers takes 3-4 days to develop their rolls. Thus I wont have them up untill Wednesday nightish...

^Amen to that, though its more of the whole are of the 3 titans for me... I think Millenium Force is the most beutiful coaster I've ridden to date. It just looks so elegent, especially at night when the lift is lit up like a rave..

As soon as I got in the park, I took a train ride. Needless to say, the train tips during the turns. But still, I nabbed some shots and got a good view of that part of the park. Next up, I decided to whore some credits and immediately went to the Little Dipper, or Paddle Boats as Camden calls it. Not the best ride, but considering it was a kiddy that you can ride without stealing a child, it was pretty nice. After that, I decided to cool off the only way I knew how: the log flume. THIS IS NOT A DAN FRIENDLY RIDE!! The splash from the last drop drenches everything within a mile radius. Next up was the REAL dipper. Let me just say that those NAD trains are comfy, and I'd love to buy one if they ever went up for auction. As for the ride itself, not the best coaster. However, there were two nice pops of ejector air, one of them coming out of the tunnel With my credits accounted for, I set off to explore the rest of the park. Right across from Big Dipper, there was a haunted house. I'm counting it as a hidden credit, since it was powered by gravity and had a chain lift followed by a rollercoaster dip. Needless to say, I'm called a coaster house for the rest of the trip. Next up were the paratroopers, a ride type I've never done. After that, I did the bobs, roundup, and ferris wheel. At this point I had hit everything on that side of the park, so I went back to the middle for some more new-to-me rides. First off were the flyers (my first flyers since I discovered that snapping was good). After a few rounds on it, I went on my first real whip ride. It's a fun little attraction that worked great with the park. At that point, I had about an hour untill I could catch the bus back to the TTA center, so I decided to grab some more laps on the coasters. Unfortunately it started to storm when I was on the credit whore coaster, so I ran to the Dodgems for shelter afterwards. To my suprise, all of the rides were still running dispite the sky now pouring rain onto the cement floor. So I took advantage of the situation and rode the bumpers untill the storm calmed down. By that point, I only had enough time to ride the carousel 2 times before I had to leave. Overall, nice park but not the best. I'll give it a 7/10 for being entertaining while still using old school technology. Plus the coaster house was nice Anyways, photos should be up late tommarow. I just have to find a place to get them developped...

Although it's technically my homepark, I too am a KI-hater...They do have a few good rides though (Avatar, Beast, Vortex, DZ). But yeah, I'd much rather go to some other place than KI anyday...

I love how as soon as I leave for college, everbody decides to take a trip to my home parks...I'm so sad and pathetic Oh well, glad you guys had fun, but I wish I could've atleast met you at Coney (ride op'd there this season) Oh, and Jared "and where is the Vortex love?" Becker PS: Skyline pwns

Too bad I just finished my main coasting season a few days ago. Oh well, I can still nab some shots of my new "home" park, Camden. Then next year, I'll be roadtriping across CF over Ohio, so expect some of those shots from me (and also of Coney Island)...

Right now my parents will only let me drive one hour away. I'm hoping that I can drive atleast 3 or 4 hours by the next coaster season. That should get me to Holiday World or Cedar Point But yeah, I'd drive anywhere to ride a coaster...

SFFT (Last visit was when they still had Jokers Jinx) 7. SDC (Last visit was pre-Wildfire) 8. WDW (Haven't been since I was too young to get a good experience, so I have few oppinions of this park) 9. Coney Island 10. SFKK

Flight of Fear (KI) yesterday.

I'm supprised Derek hasn't found his way to this thread (especially since its a year old). But my oppinion on loops is that they shouldn't be right after a lift hill, but you can still pull of a loop or two somewhere in the ride. Take Vortex for instance. Insane airtime drop to turn around to gradual decent into twin loops.

Actually, theres a simple math theory that I've discovered also applies to rollercoaster hill lenght. I forgot what the theory is called though. Anyway, take Little Bill's Giggle Coaster for example. First you compare all the hill heigths. The ratio on LBGC is 5,3,2,1,1. Now look at that ratio, starting at the last his, and going backwards. The pattern is that the previous 2 numbers equal the next one (1+1=2. 2+1=3. 3+2=5, etc)

I could more see that thrill lift in KI. We have yet to get a BM or Intamin, and half of our steels are Vekoma or Arrow.

So then SoB really IS gonna fall On the other hand, here are the other rides to be removed: *Beast (still longest) *FoF (firstish LIM) *Racer (Historic) *VorteX (first 6-looper) Thats like, half of our coasters right there

Cobra is gone, but you can still ride SkyRider at Paramount Canada's Wonderland its a copy of Cobra from PKI. Well, TECHNICALLY, the pieces are stil there, lying in the graveyard, but I see your point. Still, would be a great (re)addition to the park. And the farthest I've ever gone into Canada would be Niagra Falls, so no chance of PCW. Yarrr

Oh well. It's just marching band..I can always just learn my part later or something... Actually, the 13th is a monday, correct? Chances are, that'll be the day I go back, so I'm in no danger, so long as the last day doesn't drag on.

Changes since the take over: SoB got pwnd Changes that should occur: Replace SoB with a new Intamin/BM, or atleast rebuild Kobra.

Blarg! I probabbly have to be back in school around the 11th of August (I am this year.) Is there any possible way to stick around for a large portion of the Midwest trip, then ditch for the last few days?
