Expoland to close for good.

^ Due to Japanese superstition a death on a ride in a park where it afterwards was discovered that it had appalling maintenance is more or less killed of the park... So I'm pretty sure that the Togo coaster is toast a long time ago, it's already completely removed from the park... I think I know where it went: -
^ As I have explained earlier in this thread, the yellow track won't be a Flyer since the track ties are the wrong kind for any flyer/invert.

Intimidator 305 - KD 2010 [NL]
Loefet replied to A113's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
it looks really nice, but you need to remove some of the connections between the two spines, it's just a bit to many of them. You got the distance between them right near the track-support connections, but in the middle between two support connections there are to many of them, see here what I mean: Intimidator 305 at RCDB You also need to fix the "zig-zag" on the top/bottom sides on the lift-hill supports, like on: Intimidator 305 at RCDB Other then that it looks really good, and I can't wait to see more... -

My guess is that they have used pieces from another non erected support (probably from one that will later support one of the large hills) so that they don't have to make a complete temporary support, just the top bit. And why paint that one then I hear you ask??, well to give it some protection from the environment, since it might be needed in the future... -

Name: Peter Löfstrand Age: 27 What is your roller coaster count? 310 What is your home park? Liseberg What is the nearest big city? Gothenburg What is your occupation? Student About how many times a year do you visit a park (including your home park)? 5-20+ Depends on if I have a "big" trip planned or not. About how many times a year do you travel to a park that is not your home park? 1-5+ depending on trips that year. When you travel do you go primarily to amusement parks or do you also try and hit other sites? Yes, but if I spot anything interesting while planning the trip then I might pop by it... What is the farthest you’ve travelled to go to an amusement park? That would be Tokyo Japan Does roller coaster time get in the way of family time? (Do you choose to miss your children’s or family’s sporting events, holidays, birthdays, etc…) Not at the moment... (I might miss a few birthdays if I have a big trip in the works). Do you have any other major hobbies? Not really... Do you get feelings of sadness in the offseason? Do you even have an offseason? Do you travel during the offseason? Yes, most of the parks close down for the colder part of the year (so I usually have about half a year without visiting any parks), well my University have taken most of the time so not at the moment. Do you consider yourself friends with someone you met who works at an amusement park? (Or reverse it, if you work or worked and an amusement park have you made friends with enthusiasts?) Yes there are a few at Liseberg that I talk/says hi to while I'm there Would it bother you to go to an amusement park by yourself? No. Have you gone to an amusement park by yourself? If so have you ever ran into another enthusiast and tagged along with them? Sure I have done so a couple of times, not yet Do you find it easy to make friends with other enthusiasts? Yes. How do you get your coaster news? Through, Screamscape, Trips'n'Pics, CF, TPR, etc... How many different forum sites do you regularly post on? 2-4 depending on what it's about, social/coaster games or news... If there was a poll that asked a large pool of enthusiasts what their favourite roller coaster is, what do you think would be the top 3 responses be for wood? And for steel? 1. El Toro 2. Balder 3. T-Express 1. Bizarro(SFNE) 2. Goliath (SFOG) 3. Expedition GeForce (Holiday Park) Same scenario but for amusement parks, what would be the top 3? Liseberg, Cedar Point, Disney World Have you ever “stole a kid” to get a credit on a kiddie coaster? Nope, I haven't gone to north America yet Do you cut other categories out of your budget to make trips to parks? (Entertainment, fast food, holidays, tobacco or alcohol, etc…) No. Before you visit a new park do you research the park finding the best way to navigate the park, get the best deals, or what days to go? Navigate, yes. Saving some cash, yes. And I try to avoid public holidays etc... Do you feel the roller coaster enthusiast community is a warm and accepting community, or a negative and discouraging community? Usually yes, but some parts of it might be a bit harsh... Do you like to talk about your hobby with people who are not roller coaster enthusiasts? If they are interested in it (the usual way the discussion starts ) yes, else no. -
I changed over to Win 7 pro 64bit a week ago, after getting hold of the full version free of charge from the MSDNAA program at my University. After getting more and more trouble with XP pro that I have been running for several years now, I finally decided to ditch the old workhorse due to this awesome deal... And I absolutely love it

^ It's also very likely that those might be a part of a wheel driven lift, much like the lift on Minetrain Ulven at Bakken. -
Even if the teachers says that the "Electromagnetic field theory" course is the hardest my University have on offer. I and several others disagree... The course in "Quantum Mechanics and Statistical Physics " is way harder...

^ I'm pretty sure that Windows can't read the files on the Mac part of the drive properly. Do you have NL on the windows computer as well? in that case just copy all the files over to the windows drive and run the track packager from that, or if you don't mail everything over to another NL user with windows and let him/her package it for you.

I don't count it as the steepest coaster out there, since they use trims to bring down the speed on the really steep part, compared to what Eurofighter's and other beyond vertical drop coasters do. And even if you recognize the drop on Mumbo Jumbo as a drop even if they have the trims, then Afterburner at Wonder Island should be counted as well and it's definitely steeper: Just Look at it, (pic at RCDB) But then again those 2 drops are nothing, the other Screaming Squirrels which are even steeper, Sequoia Adventure - RCDB So no in both senses in my opinion.

^ But Kirnu don't have any turns... I have ridden Tornado at Bakken, and I have to say that they are worse then the standard ones on the newer Accelerators... Since the edges on these "soft" ones are worse on your neck if you ride without a collar to protect your neck from friction burns, not to forget that they are thinner so that they are almost worse then the first gen accelerator OSTR's in the neck slashing section as well... -
