  1. ^ You don't kill things in second life. Though it sounds like you are trying with that waterslide.
  2. ^ Never played oblivion so I have no Idea. I play on Feathermoon. My main (thelb) is 70 human Rogue and underequipped Persephonne is a level 50 human Warlock. Rhiannin is a level 39 N.elf Priest. My newest toon, Halfpynte is a 16 Gnome mage, currently doing all the nelf starting quests so i can someday get a kitty. I most likely got the spellings wronmg (cept for my main) so if you're on my server and want to contact me, contact my main.
  3. Much love goes to you for the bridge p0rn.
  4. That is a bad pick up line waiting to happen. Baby, you're like a ferris wheel, pretty from the inside out. I like the one with cables for spokes because i think it's so cool that they are compression rings. But I'm a geek. Yup, I'm a quarter Pollack, though I doubt I would have had reason to tell you. That's how I have blue eyes. **bats eyelashes**
  5. That's probably a good idea since I am quite the scatterbrain. Though the fact that sunscreen is one of the only things I carry with me usually helps me remember to reapply. I hate that my skin has let the Polish side beat out the Portuguese as of late. Great report as always. I so wish I had gone
  6. It's probably the world's first 4d theater where the seats are barrels.
  7. To further Lou's belief that i am part Chameleon I present you Moose with longish hair and beard holding his new nephew.
  8. Pulp - Wickerman
  9. That's what I get for taking a year of physics in 8 weeks. And I took Physics for girls, aka no calc. But back to the original issue, it's tensile stress the pre-drop is trying to relieve. N'est pas? Yes yes. I agree with you there completely. Releaving tension in also reilves the stress, and vice versa. The important thing about limiting the stress (or tension) is not about the total amount, but the changes in stress the chain sees. Each change in stress reduces the life of the chain so anything that can be done do make it as constant as possible will make it last longer.
  10. I think it was interesting that the guy the got everyone to vote for Mary didn't vote for her himself. I was actually glad that the Fave's won, the whole we are better than you because we are younger way the team split really irked me.
  11. Actually, not quite. In engineer speak, Tension is a force, the stress is that force divided by the area it is acting over. Strain is that stress divided by the modulus of elasticity of the material it is made from.
  12. I have a feeling this dwelling will "quickly seem quaint" much sooner than the decade it took the first one.
  13. Only problem is I don't collect coaster stuff. I also don't have a dungeon . Sorry to dissapoint.
  14. ^^Perhaps a car insurance or car antitheft company would be better.
  15. ^ SFNE had already done that. Keyword is HAD. Their flume used to be the Poland Spring Plunge, but the name went away when the ride was removed.
  16. It's a tough call for me. The thing is entirely gravity powered.
  17. It look's like i should have rode this while it was at VF. They had a wicked good deal. It was something like 7 bucks a person if two people rode. I guess that should have been a sign that the thing wasn't doing well and would be moved.
  18. Iteresting article. Shane, I too was shocked about the wooden markup. I know something similar was used in submarine construction up until about 5 or 10 years ago. It was the best and cheapest way to make sure things fit. I am guessing Claude and Walter used computers as the transitions etc are way to smooth to have been done entirely by hand. (bu that's just a guess). Attic, Closet, then basement? these fun places are getting more interesting names
  19. Pretty much Kiddie coasters everywhere I've been.
  20. ^^ I absolutely LOVE that song. R.E.M.- Sweetness Follows
  21. Forget a whole train, one fuctioning car would be better. I am sure there will have to be tweaks and adjustments made to the design. Building the whole train before a car is tested means many more parts will need to be modified.
  22. Wild West Falls looks like a clone of Parque Warner Madrid's flume, in which case i assume it's awesome.
  23. ^I am not sure phrasing it like that is the way to get on the owner's good side. If I were the owner, I would be more apt to kick you out if you said that than allow you to film.
  24. *kisses Lou* Baby if I swung that way, I'd be all over you.
  25. I swear I have read every trip report but this is the first time i remember hearing of the either the park with no open coasters or the train station amazing race-ish antics. Maybe i just have bad reading comprehension?
