Fixed Nice trip report and great photos, and it looks like you chose a good day for your first visit. Quick question, did Backlot Stunt Coaster get new trains like at King's Dominion(the new one's look really cheap)? -

Nice trip report, and it does look like the park has improved a lot. The park still seems to have a Cedar Fair look to it, but hopefully if trees continue to be planted, and once they grow out, Wild Adventures can end up being a pretty nice park. Wild Adventures already seems a lot better now than it was under the old owners(especially with Cheetah and landscaping), and it'll be interesting to see what else Herschend does for the park. -
New Vekoma Flyer in China 2008

^ Yes, the ride is now open, well the ride has been open since 7/18/2009, so it didn't just open. I guess it is just a bad translation, about the ride not being able to operate when it is raining or above a certain wind speed. RCDB -

A new developer is trying to reopen the park: Link -
^ Wouldn't surprise me if it were to happen. I'm not a big KFC(or Yum! Brands for that matter) fan, but I might have to try this once. It'll take a year off of my life, but then again, the same probably happens when I eat at Steak n Shake. As Robb pointed out, I'm surprised that it isn't as unhealthy as I thought it would be.

I'm surprised at how much Six Flags seems to be excited about this ride, as they seem to be pushing it more than other park's new attractions this year. Then again, with it having a lot of nostalgic value and Mark Shapiro wanting it a lot, I guess it should have been expected. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but the ride currently has a 42" height requirement. Link I hope this is not the final requirement, otherwise the move is going to backfire big time on Six Flags. Spacley's Sprocket Rockets has a 36" height requirement, so I assume Little Dipper will eventually end up with the same requirement. Otherwise, there are going to be a lot of upset kids and parents. Also, I can make it to the park either Saturday or Sunday, so it doesn't matter which day the meet up is.

Photo TR: I305 + my review
Airtime&Gravity replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great pictures, some of the expressions in the closeups are funny, and the other photos do a good job of showing how massive this ride is. Although, when I see photos of I305, I can't stop thinking about how it looks under-supported, although, I guess that gives it an added thrill factor. -
Being There A strange movie about an adult who has spent all his life at home watching TV. When his father dies, he must go out into the world where he is taken in by an elderly man, and through a misunderstanding, becomes a financial expert. It's a pretty funny movie that, while not at the top of my list, I might still watch if it were ever on TV. Lola Rennt(Run Lola Run) A German movie that follows the main character, Lola, around as she tries to come up with enough money to prevent her boyfriend from being killed. The film consists of three of her attempts, with each having a different outcome. The civilians she encounters along the way have their futures shown in a photo form, with their futures changing each story based on what Lola does when they encounter one another. A fun movie to watch, and my only real complaint about it is that it is really short at 76 minutes.
