  1. There was some magazine that ranked America's coasters like this: 1. Millennium Force 2. Kingda Ka 3. The Beast 4. SROS: SFNE 5. Tatsu? 6. Nitro 7. Magnum XL 200 8. Ghostrider 9. ? 10. Lightning Racers I forget the rest, I'll post when I get home. Haha, I can't believe they put the Beast above coasters like SROS, Nitro, and LRacers!
  2. There's one at KI. Or atleast there used to be... Ah, here it is. One of my first rides... Boo Boo's Baggage Claim
  3. Top Ten: 1. Maverick - Cedar Point 2. Millennium Force - Cedar Point 3. Top Thrill Dragster - Cedar Point 4. Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster - Warner Bros. Movie World 5. Afterburn - Carowinds 6. Magnum XL-200 - Cedar Point 7. Kentucky Rumbler - Beech Bend 8. Mantis - Cedar Point 9. Tower of Terror - Dreamworld 10. Thunderhead - Dollywood Top Wooden Coasters: 1. Rumbler - Beech Bend 2. Thunderhead - Dollywood 3. Gemini - CP 4. Tornado - Stricker's Grove 5. Racer - KI
  4. I think the park should either show all, or show nothing at all.
  5. Yeah...he also said ride Batman, Acrophobia, Goliath, GASM, and GCyclone an hour before the park closes....is that even possible?
  6. Ehhh...I'm not liking the whole 3-D. I think it might have cost less compares to drawn 2-D? I don't know, it looks awesome anyways!! Futurama in the future? -JZ
  7. Well, from what I hear, I'm going to be paying for the flash pass. It looks like it will be worth the 20-25$, I forget what the website said. So with the flashpass, what would the usual wait times be? Max of 15, lowest a walk on? -JZ
  8. The theming looks really great! Though it's too bad to hear the themeing and preshow is liked more than the ride. I think the ultimate indoor wildmouse will always be Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster in Movie World, AU!!! I'm so thankful to have ridden that ride. -JZ
  9. Bump. It's still up in the air on when we're going to go. Sounds like we'll be going up for 1/2 a day on friday the 6th? Gas costs are the only thing holding us back. We come down in a Mercury Mountaineer. -JZ
  10. I really don't like how it looks - on concrete and how it's overlapping all over itself. But I'm interested to see what people think of it, I'd really like to try out one of these or the Vekoma Booster Bikes and see how it stacks up ot Intamin's Prototype. It was pretty meh, by the way; especially with a 30 min wait that should have been 10. -JZ
  11. Actually, it's only 2 things. The employee cafeteria was changed to "Oscars" when South Side Grille was changed to Backlot Cafe...so that was 2006, I believe. The employee cafeteria has also gone another name change since then, I believe it's something like Cornerstone. . Haha, we have Oscars too!
  12. Kings Island is acutally not an island! Yes, I've been asked "Where's all the water?" Seriously once.
  13. Another rule is don't be annoying and post in all caps. You're battin' a thousand. Some nice pictures on the bright side.
  14. I can really understand what you're saying. I love a ride that's non stop, from start to finish. That's another reason why Maverick's my favorite ride. Non stop action! (well, there's a pause, but I don't mind it) I also get how on the ride it's just a straight piece of track. And an off ride perspective, a really cool water show! I'm with ginzo. Give us a great ride without gimmicks.
  15. Johnny, I'm glad you mentioned that. So many people miss out on that point. It's functional.....not just aesthetic. It took 'em somewhere in the neighborhood of five years to develop and patent it, so I can completely understand why they'd like to incorporate it into more of their coaster types. Psh, I figured that out on RCT 10 years ago I'd like to see it. Italian Job's hardly works.
  16. Ah, those shuttle water slides are lame. Or atleast the one in Australia was. Just bump, bump, hit water and go up....and then back into more water. Meh. Looks really nice, though! Great stuff! -jZ
  17. Well, they're sticking them on flyers, so why not Hypers?
  18. Awesome news James. I'm loving all your little hints
  19. Going On - Gnarls Barkley. I love those guys.
  20. Saw Iron Man..it wasn't as funny as the trailers showed it to be, and I thought it could have been better. I still thought it was a really cool movie. 8/10 I can't wait for Get Smart!
  21. Duh, you won't be going there...it WAS only open for one night in April. I can wait until October for Fear Fests.
  22. Awesome news, I can't wait to see 'em! -JZ
  23. Please, no more Beast. ATLEAST tell us that, James!
  24. That's why you try to shoot for an overcast Wednesday, or a school day. Now, those are fun times at KI. Rerides on Drop Zone for as long as you want! Last year on one of those days, I rode Drop Zone 40 times in a row; once in every seat...plus a few more rides. I think it took about 3 hours or so, haha. But damn, that was an awesome day.
