I really, really wish that the track colors corosponded to the colors of the trains and the logo. Other than that it looks nice.

hm I've been on several old Arrow loopers, I know how to ride it, I rode int he back AND I still found it to be a huge POS Maybe you just need to learn that not everyone likes Vortex. It's the worst of the megaloopers IMO (I never rode Shockwave) I guess I'm one of the few who like....love. Vortex because I know where to ride. If you go in the front; you get thrown all over the place. If you go to the back, it's pretty nice. I've been riding it since I was 7 or eight, I think. Corkscrew I rode toward the back and found some awesome air over the first drop and the airtime hill. And that was about it for me, I doubt I'll ride it again...

Ah, I saw in the article it said Ravine Flier II, so I thought it was the one that had been posted previously; and it looked similar to the layout I saw above, so I assumed it was the current. Mm...any coaster with a sign out in front that says "10 airtime spots" looks awesome to me!

I'm shocked Scream made it to anyone's top 10. I like Scream. Not sure it's in my top ten, but I liked it. One might say the same about having Villian in their top ten. So, Scream is just a mirrored version of Medusa, but in a parking lot..right? And I've heard people say it's one of the rougher B&M's. Has it gotten better? Am I asking the right person? -J"Trying to collect as much info for my SFMM trip as possible..."Z

Only 4 million for this coaster? That's awesome! Awesome shots, guys! It really opened up the rest of the ride and gave a great perspective of how big the ride is. Robb, you get to do so many cool things! I'm so jealous! -JZ

I didn't ride in the middle row, and I'd have to say it was very intense. The drop, airtime hills, turns, dives. I rode in the front and back; and both rides were absolutely awesome! Millennium Force is a coaster the coaster that I'd define as not intense, but really really really fun.

Just quoting... haha I was doing that based on other peoples opinions of both rides. Some say they like El Toro better, while others think Maverick is better. I was being honest, cause El Toro is easily the best coaster at Gadv. Ah, I guess I see what you meant. Arguably the best steel/wood of the parks, so since they both have a supporters from both sides the vote is neutral. Alright, I was confused and I thought it sounded funny!

Well, I was obviously mislead. I read the whole thing a few times to see if I was missing something, and I couldn't find it. He didn't say he was comparing the popular rides, he just said Maverick and El Toro. It just sounded stupid to me. Edit. I saw his other post and he cleared things up. I get it now and see what he's saying. No need to argue about what someone else said; we both made mistakes I guess.

For all those non-believers...

Cedar Point has always been sterling with operations during my visits. No closed rides, quick dispatches. Vortex at KI eats lines. Top Gun:TJC (Carowinds) was great with their operations during my visits. OH....best operations has to be at Movie World Australia: Scooby Doo Coaster - Yeah, it's a Wild Mouse...and they have about 20 cars on the track. -4 in loading station -4 in exit station -4 at bottom of elevator -4 at top of elevator -4 on overall ride? And they keep the line moving constantly. This made walk ons later in the day possible. Ugh, I miss you, Scooby!!! -JZ

We were told to come 30-45 minutes earlier than usual because the parking is probably...a mile away from usual? I think I saw them opening up the grass area. -sigh-

There is a guy on here named Skip, and I talked to him at West Coast Bash about TTD vs. KK. (For those of you who went on the Midwest trip, you know who I'm talking about.) In addition to everything else that has been mentioned, he said that one major thing is missing from KK: spectators. TTD has a little grandstand set up so you can watch it launch from a good perspective, allowing for good photo opportunities as well. You can also walk along the entire length of TTD. Those things are not true with KK. There is no grandstand, and you can't walk along side it. It's much harder to get good photos of KK. Do you agree? Yeah, what RIP said. When you're on Dragster, it's like you're the center of attention. Everyone's lined up along the ride, and usually a good crowd right next to the launch area. People are just standing there amazed at the ride, and it's an awesome interaction with the guests. TTD has the sounds, the crowds, the looks, and an incredible ride. Also, the cars are really cool; and the seats are great. I guess you could say they are aerodynamic? Anyways, you have a lot of freedom with only a lap bar holding you in. It just adds to the all around awesomeness that this ride has. My #2 favorite coaster. -JZ

I was expecting something after the RK show, maybe later on before July 4th. I really wish they give it a construction page like they did Maverick. I'm not expecting webcams or anything, just a decent photo update.

I'd really need to make a trip to GAdv before arguing this point. All I can say is that Maverick, TTD, MF, Mantis, and Magnum are among my favorite coasters. And Gemini is a favorite woodie! But holy crap, Nitro and El Toro look like they could influence an opinion! Medusa and Batman are always good, right? -JZ
