  1. Did you mean that in a good or bad way? Is it going to to be better or not as good as you expected?
  2. Well, I guess I've been lucky with ym visits in the past, usually a friday evening in the first week of June. I've been there twice, and the only reason I'd go back is for Afterburn. BorgHawk progressivly got worse IMO, Hurler is Crap, and T-Road is okay. Afterburn is the saving grace! I also liked Vortex, it was a nice stand up...I guess only when you have to wait two trains to ride it. Maybe I'll stop by if there's something new in the next two years? -JZ
  3. Yeah, it's kinda hard to tell by the pictures, but when you see it in person; add some day dreaming and connect-the-footers; you can see it's a coaster in progress. -JZ
  4. Here's an update from this weekend from KIC more stuff going on in the woods.
  5. Well, with those pictures, it doesn't matter what camera you have...it all maters on the brains and the setting. If you see something cool and old school, or something as beautiful as he did...any camera from high tech to phone camera could capture that picture well. Upload and change some colors on it, and you have a great picture. -JZ Oh, and as an update: I took the camera back to Costco and they said the viewfinder pyramid or something was broken, and the lense had a scratch that was unfixable. SO! I sent that back, got the money, re ordered a new one and caught a deal on a bigger zoom lense....all for the original price I had payed! It should be here today.
  6. Yeah, it was a good day. Drop Tower - 15 minutes Flight Deck - 5-10 minutes Red Racer (2) - 10 minutes Vortex - 10 minutes FoF - 25-30 minutes I'm forgetting something... SoB had 45 min wait...it was rediculous. Firehawk was an hour. Crypt broke down.
  7. Haha, I'm glad I didn't look too bad in the pic....my eyes were so itchy and water from new spring alergies! Blah! Anyways, it was really cool to meet up with you, Russel and family! Hope to see you next year! -JZ
  8. Boy, if you're used to all this theming...Kings Island will be a smack in the face! Haha! -JZ
  9. Haha yeah. In the option of: -Green -Black -And pink! Haha, ugh I can't wait for school to end.
  10. Hey, did you happen to see a guy in a navy blue long sleeved shirt with a guy in a TPR shirt and blue hat? Well, that was me (navy blue) and Jamien (SFOGdude) If it wasn't for the 10000000 buses of choir/band kids, it would have been dead! I still got a good bunch of rides in, in a couple hours. Nice pics! Oh, and there were like...3 new footers! There's an obvious pattern...it appears to be a brake run or something. -JZ
  11. I think that's a pretty good possibility. I just hope it might be open by late April! -JZ
  12. There are two helixes on the Beast. Both are covered. I really don't care about the Beast any more as far as if I could see it from the ride. As long as this coaster is going to be kick ass, I don't care what they do to other exisiting rides around it! Who knows, maybe they will use tunnels to block views.
  13. I'll be at KI seldom until my real job ends late July. I'm transferring from games to rides.
  14. Yeah, that's what I am hoping for, too. Just 'unique' sections to the ride. I'm really hoping for something like Apollo's Chariot. What's everyone's opinion on those 'pre drops' to the B&M hypers? Like the little section where there's a small drop, then a straight away....then drop! I think it's an awesome idea, it looks like you get a nice speed for the drop. Also looks like you get a nice feeling of how high up in the air you are. Does this work for better airtime? Opinions on this? -JZ
  15. I guess I'm a "coaster masochist" due to numerous rides on Beast, Son of Beast, and Racer....but Vortex is always a good ride for me! I'd only have a bad ride if I tried to squeeze my arms up. Ouch! But when I was younger and SoB had the old trains...that could be really bad. It felt like there was a 20lb weight on your chest the whole ride! Still on the Premier rides, I feel like I'm sitting way down in the car; but I think they have their seats pretty low. -JZ
  16. I think the real question is.... Rita or Desert Race?
  17. King Cobra was scrapped late '06. It's gone, never to return.
  18. Yeah, something with the track scheme like Wildfire with some red or orange trains and black trains would be sick! I can't wait to see what KI is going to do with this.
  19. I think it'd be cool to have a coaster with that look. Just raw. I'm sure it can't be done because it needs a coat of this to protect it from that and yadayda. I think for like...an industrial or ..something! theme, it'd be awesome.
  20. Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. Any B&M would be good. We're blessed.
  21. But isn't that the purest definition of a B&M hyper....or for that matter, a roller coaster in general? What separates these types of coasters is location, and interaction with the elements/terrain/spectators (i.e SFOG's Goliath leaving the park and crossing the walking paths). Hopefully, KI will take full advantage of their land. I meant to say Canadian Goliath. Just a hill, bump, bump, turn, bump, bump and brakes; seems a little boring to me. Something like Nitro or Goliath at SFOG is what I'm expecting.
  22. Good news, good news. I'm not sure if I'm liking the new trains, but I'll have to read some more reviews. I hope this B&M isn't just up and down, up and down, like Goliath or Behemoth. I hope it's something more original. -JZ
  23. I really don't know what I'm going to do. I'm an average student when it comes to grades. But I'm an extrodinary student with it comes to school life and envolvment. -Pastoral Ministry -Sports -Australia Exchange Program -Mentor Group Captain I'm looking at Miami University, Wright State, and Northern Kentucky University. I could always go out of state, but the tuition is usually crazy. There's just so much stuff to think about, and I don't know what I'm going to go into. The thought of studying aimlessly for something I'm not going to go into just nausiates me. And a college close to a theme park is always a bonus... -JZ
  24. I'm a fan of Gnarls Barkley. He's got this awesome new song out called "Going On." I love it! -JZ
  25. $3.65 in Cincinnati, Ohio (Montgomery) I wish I could have gotten a mini cooper - 50mpg!
