  1. Yeah, it's Ohio. So there's a LOT of people who are like "hm....which is better, Diamondback or Millennium Force?" I talked to Joey, and he's right...not enough people have ridden other better rides to offset the "Ohio Fanboys." That's where it will got a LOT of number one and number two's for DB. I looked a quite a few ballots and that's what I saw a lot of. But having worked there most of the summer, it had 45minute lines pretty much all day. And with 1200+ riders per hour...there's quite a few people who get to ride! I ranked it number nine. It's a great ride, but not the best. The first half of the ride is fantastic....second half...ehhh..buzzkill.
  2. Yay for Diamondback! and Voyage. LOVE that ride! Maybe when TPR visits Australia, Scooby will get a push up in the polls
  3. I didn't think Raptor was special until I rode in the very front row. Raptor jumped up to tie Afterburn for my favorite invert when I decided to wait for the front versus going to a quick row. Raptor packs quite a punch in the front seat, the loop and corkscrews are awesome! I think Steel Eel is both over-rated and under-rated at the same time. Under-rated because it's hardly ever talked about, and it's a good ride. But when people do talk about it, they talk about how amazing the airtime is. On the Texas trip we did ride right in the morning, but I didn't think it was all that. The MCBR was on VERY hard....it had some okay airtime, but once Great White opened, I went right to that. Eel didn't do it for me.
  4. Helllooooo....Giant Drop USA version?! SFMM needs a drop ride! How cool would that be? I wonder if they've considered it. I mean, Giant Drop was CRAZY. Falling for ages and the long time free fall sensation is very unique. I can't remember how many times I rode GD when I was at Dreamworld.
  5. This is too cool. Ever since I saw the ProSlide 'prototype' video on the website, I couldn't wait for these to be installed. Good for Aquatica, this will be a big success I'm sure!
  6. Wow, thanks for sharing these pics! I really wish Kings Island would let me take my D40 and get some in depth shots like these...but then again I've never really asked too. Great stuff! -Zach
  7. OMG! Cadbury World! One and a half cups of awesomeness. I lived on that stuff when I was in Australia, then found it at some places back in America. Great photo TR, Divv! -Zach
  8. Robb changed my name to "JizzMasterZero" for a bit, so I bought into the role. Check out the movie, "Orgazmo"...it's a pretty funny movie. Ron Jeremy plays JizzMasterZero in this mock porno comedy. Great stuff!
  9. Beautiful architecture! Very good to see this much progress made.
  10. If not, come out for Drop Tower, Diamondback, Flight Deck, and Flight of Fear. Kings Island has a variety of different types of coasters. You're bound to like one!
  11. The Wilderness Lodge looks VERY similar to the Grand Californian resort...which is my most favorite place in the world
  12. She voiced Luanne in King of the Hill. That's sad. King of the Hill is awesome! RIP.
  13. I'm so bummed I'm not at Dollywood now =( Thanks for the photos! It looks very, very pretty. The park said they will save my two tickets until January 2nd, so if some miracle pops up, I'll head down...I doubt it though. Thanks for offering hospitality, Erik! -Zach
  14. Hey TPR! I was just thinking back to my summer coaster trips, and there were some cool coasters I rode that interact with the crowd. One that's pretty interactive is Diamondback. Its first drop goes over the midway, and it crosses back over again. It's so much fun to hang over the first drop and see a bunch of people waving and watching. Top Thrill Dragster is pretty neat, too. It's like you're the center of attention! While you're waiting to launch, there's a huge stand of people watching you. The Surfrider at Wet'nWild Australia is pretty crazy, it's an Intamin halfpipe that sprays firehoses at you while it's running! LOL! It draws some nice crowds. What are some of your favorite interactive coasters? -JZ
  15. I like to yell quite a bit. Sometimes, if it's my first or second time riding a coaster or I'm not familiar with it, I'll laugh my ass off. If it's a great coaster. Most of my top 10 coasters I got off laughing and saying wow, that was really good!
  16. I still can't believe I missed the Intamin Rocket, Superman Escape . Oh well, just makes me consider going back in 2011 for summer even more! Jet Rescue looks a LOT better than Mick Doohan's coaster...that thing was a horrible capacity nightmare and the ride just didn't do anything.
  17. Yeah, it's a great ride! -Surrounded by woods -Fast pacing throughout -Airtime -Strong laterals -Tunnel That's pretty much everything that creates a good ride in my book. If only the Beast kept the same intensity as Raven. Raven ranks very highly in many coaster polls, too! -Zach
  18. Just fixed a few errors on my ballot. I'm very pleased to see Diamondback in top 10 and top 20's...escpecially when it's higher than Behemoth! Go Diamondback! Gotta support my baby. I ranked it #9 on my list. I ranked it above MF, Afterburn, Steel Hawg, Freeze, and Tornado; but below Maverick, Goliath (SFOG), Shockwave, Cornball, and Voyage.
  19. I do think they made the money back by re-opening them at different theme parks across their chain. But if it was worth that much then? Didn't it say CF was worth 700M? It's a pretty big chunk.
  20. I'm ready to put in my deposit! I'm still bummed I missed Superman Escape when I visited Movie World.. Scooby still ranks at best coaster experience ever though! I must have ridden it 20 times that day...
  21. Come try out Diamondback, then! Apparently it has the strongest 'front seat airtime' out of the B&M hypers. I thought Goliath's frontseat was better than the back. On Diamondback I usually pick the middle for the amount of sustained floater air....it just goes on for ages!

  23. Yeah that does, it was right after my Texas trip, I remember now! And if I do recall correctly, you guys got quite a few rides in that day. Yeah, EGF shirts are kind of obvious that whoever is wearing it knows a thing or two about coasters
  24. Hey!! I hope I've got the right guy; did I meet you at Diamondback this year? I'm an operator there. I saw quite a few TPR members, and I didn't get to introduce myself to all of them. Hope you had a good time at my home park! -Zach TPR members from all over the world came to ride Diamondback! Here's Der Der Dongt and a friend chatting with me about Kings Island nonsense. Great meeting you, Matthias!
  25. My cousin who lives in Trukee was prescribed too. He said it was VERY helpful with his different surgeries. He's a big snowboarder, so he's quite a few spills. I think this will do more good than harm, I'm a big supporter.
