  1. I'm working on a new roller coaster themed design that I may submit to threadless. Right now, I have just put it up for critique, but I thought I'd share it here while I'm working on it. http://www.threadless.com/critique/34265/Emotional_Roller_Coaster
  2. This is really disturbing, but the guy is creative.
  3. That story is 10 days old and already has a topic about it. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48172&highlight=shark+water
  4. They're Pembroke Welsh Corgis (the Queen of England has a bunch). They are basically big dogs, with short legs. They are a great breed.
  5. ^Elissa posted in the Deep South forum that 47 people have signed up (that was a couple of weeks ago) and that 50 were needed to do the trip the way that they want to. So yes, please sign up.
  6. Here are my kids: Now Trooper and Finn are pals. Trooper was sad and needed a new friend, so we got Finn. This is Parker and Trooper. Parker is the one closest to the camera...he was old and sick and had to be put down a few months ago.
  7. I always thought the coaster in Richie Rich was Vortex at Carowinds. Since the house shots were of the Biltmore estate in NC...I'm actually pretty sure it was Vortex.
  8. Cool. It sounds like it was mixed with "Don't You Want Me" by Felix (not the Human League song).
  9. What's with that? I'm a gay Phillip too. I didn't realize it was such a gay name. Maybe there should be another choice: I'm a guy named Phillip who likes guys.
  10. Actually, black is not the absence of color. It is the absence of light. Black is the combination of all colors, but the absence of light on the spectrum. White is the opposite...absent of opaque color, but a combination of all light on the spectrum. Combine a bunch of paint colors together...I guarantee you will get something closer to black than you will white.
  11. ^^ Damn you for beating me to it. I'm not even sure what he was trying to say.
  12. I posted a pic in the Deep South trip forum. I figured I'd post it here too.
  13. I had an I.O.U. sweatshirt...I got it at The Merry-Go-Round of course, because it was so much better than The Chess King.
  14. Burnt Sienna.
  15. Screamin' Demon - KI The Bat - KI King Cobra - KI Hercules - Dorney Drachen Fire - BGE Wild Maus - BGE Joker's Revenge - SFFT Starchaser - SFKK Vampire - SFKK I think that's it.
  16. I remember them. The first one I saw was in Gatlingburg, and I must have been about 5 or 6, because I just barely remember it...but I do remember standing and holding onto a bar in front of me and thinking it was kind of weird. Later, Kings Island had the Cinema 180, but everyone sat on the floor instead. There was always a portion of the film that had a coaster in it. I know Revolution at SFMM was featured, and I think maybe the Idora Wildcat too (I'm just guessing, because I remember the track and structure being painted yellow. It was yellow, wasn't it?).
  17. Has any one seen Let The Right One In? Or have you at least seen the trailer for it? I had never heard of it until this past weekend, but it is showing at a local theater and I plan on seeing it soon. It looks really good...and creepy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyUB5_h2MK4
  18. I don't count rinky dink traveling fair coasters...but I did count the ones that I rode at Oktoberfest (Olympia Looping, Euro Star, CyberMouse, and Star World).
  19. The kid in the front row on the right looks constipated.
  20. Mr. Freeze is my favorite, then I guess Shockwave, but that's about it. I've live in Dallas for 9 years and have been to SFOT maybe 4 or 5 times. It just doesn't do it for me for some reason. SKC is okay, but kind of underwhelming, and Rattler is horrendous. I liked Steel Eel, but it wasn't thrilling. I have to agree with the Texas coasters aren't all that great sentiment.
  21. I still love The Goonies...I watch it every time it comes on. My first theater movie was The Incredible Shrinking Woman. I still remember actually entering the theater. I also remember seeing Savannah Smiles and Six Pack at the theater. super-I still like Savannah Smiles too-trooper
  22. I used to practice lip synching different songs, because I knew that one day I would win "Putting on the Hits". I would have worn all 5 of my Swatches (with Swatch guards) at the same time too.
  23. ^Nice punctuation.
  24. Last night, I cried out of sheer joy for the first time in my life.
