  1. Hmmmmmmm...graphic picture? Is it bad that I'm curious?
  2. That was so great! Very entertaining. I loooved Indiana Beach so much. Makes me want to go back. Although the fish did scare me.
  3. Nighthawk makes me think of comic books because there are a couple of them with that name.
  4. I never listen to what critics say. They're pretty much morons when it comes to what the general public likes. What you need to look at is how the users rate it. And they rate it at 71% rating, which is quite good or "fresh" as they say.
  5. I'd rather see a Goonies ride Even if it is Warner Bros. and has nothing to do with Disney.
  6. Well, the father is actually 19. And get this, her parents were letting the guy live with her. They were letting a 19 year old and a 16 year old shack up. And they're surprised she got pregnant? Best...Parents...EVER!
  7. There went her teen star career. Nickelodeon has confirmed to People magazine that the 16-year-old star of Zoey 101 is pregnant. Personally, I think that Mom and Dad Spears should win the parents of the year award. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20167059,00.html
  8. I'm tempted to do this but I honestly don't even know if I'll go to Kentucky Kingdom this year.
  9. Love this show. I hated the goth couple at the beginning but now I'm actually rooting for them. They are from my home state after all. Although I'm still kind of surprised they're a "couple" and not "friends".
  10. ^Don't be so sure, you should've seen all the Greeks working at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin.
  11. going to ask.com is part of your problem. Wikipedia would make things easier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_and_outlying_territories_by_area http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_population Unfortunately Wikipedia is not a reliable source for writing papers. Anyone can update the information on the website. In my program, we have been forbidden to use any information from Wikipedia.
  12. No love for Hannah Montana
  13. There's no way you would see me in that mess for the football game. I work at UK hospital. The only thing the games do for me is make me wonder how crappy my drive home will be. I love Dollywood though. Thunderhead is freaking awesome! And I too was surprised at how much I like Tennessee Tornado.
  14. That's just dialect, not really weird or stupid. Most people I know pronounce it that way. *shrugs*
  15. Don't know if there is one already but I always thought Banshee would be a great name for a coaster.
  16. That gremlin is awesome!
  17. Yeah, I love all the electric cords we get to walk over. Wish I'd gone earlier though, I would've tried some of the games and a couple of the rides. We literally went 2 hours before it closed down.
  18. No beers here. I live in a dry county. Selling alcohol is illegal.
  19. Awesome! I didn't even see this before I put up my white trash fair experience. Great minds think alike.
  20. I live in a very small, rural community in Kentucky. The population of the county I live in is 13,237, the town I live in has a population of about 1,500. Yes, it's that small. Every year, in September the county holds it's annual fair. Every year, I try to avoid it like the plague. I see people I graduated with and that's never a fun experience for me. This fair is the most ghetto of the ghetto fairs. All the white trash, hillbillies and rednecks come out in full force. It's mullet and 80's hair overload. This year, though, they apparently got a new company to come in with the rides and everything. I heard through the grapevine that it was actually a little less ghetto. This being the case, I had to check it out. Me and some of my friends made a trek to the fair the last day it was set up and the night of the DEMOLITION DERBY!!!! My friends had a visitor in from Germany, named Nina. She came to our town about 10 years ago as a foreign exchange student for a year and came back to visit. She rocks. We all had a lot of fun with her. I didn't get to ride anything at the fair but it was fun just looking around and making fun of people. My favorite was the woman with the Nelson twins hair. I serenaded her with "After the Rain". Anyway onto the photos... "God's Gift. Shamaria, Xamaria, Tamaria" I don't even know what to say, so I'll end the trip report here. Hope you enjoyed. There was some sort of weird booth where they did t-shirts and stuff. This is the and stuff. "Hot Mama" Yeah. I took this picture for Casey. It's a spinning beer barrel ride that says "Casey's Barrel of Fun Rides". Swings. Yeah, I can't think of anything witty to say here. Nina with her prize, a teddy bear. Lisa, my other friend and Stacy's wife, joined the group in this picture. More pool. He won Nina a going away prize. This is Nina and my friend Stacy. He likes pool and they actually had a pool game. Go figure. Octopus and another cloud of smoke, mostly from the cool and hip teenagers who sneak off into the woods together after lighting up. Kiddie ride. You see random little kids wandering around the fair. I guess this is where they wind up. Requisite Scrambler. Bobsled ride. Wish I could've rode it. Some sort of hangglider ride, nobody was riding this thing at all. Mmmmmmm...blurry ferris wheel. This ride looked like a lot of fun, it was called the Hurricane. I don't think I've ever seen a fair ride move that fast. Ooooohhhhhh...pretty. Thanks but no thanks. I wouldn't even ride one of these on the midwest trip, let alone at the white trash fair. This is more of what you see when you walk in. Around every other corner, you find a long lost cousin. Joy. On to the fair... There is no real midway, it's just a big circle with rides and games spread throughout. And by the way, I love walking through a huge cloud of cigarette smoke. Another wrecked car, another FABOLOUS paint job. I love what they've done with the spray paint. A wrecked car. The paint jobs on the cars are FABOLOUS! Oooooohhhhhh, demolished cars. Fun. I think I just heard a redneck go "WOOOOOOO!" while holding up a beer. I think everyone in the whole county was at the Demolition Derby. Notice the mass amounts of camouflage and big trucks.
  21. I'm glad I got to ride it in August too. I loved it, it was so bad it was awesome.
  22. You all look like you're having so much fun. I can't wait until I get to go on another trip again. Hopefully I'll get to experience the crazy awesomeness of Japan one day.
  23. LOL! Don't remind me, that was one of the single most embarrassing things ever. I was like, "I did not just lose at the kiddie strength game."
