Photo TR: Jahan's Awesome TPR-Midwest Trip Report!
gnewton34 replied to arrowfanman's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I loved Indiana Beach soooo much. I too didn't know anything about the park before we got there and was just blown away. The bear is awesome. That was my first flyer as well. Those swings seriously freaked me out though. We all rode the paratrooper ride too and the ride op kept it going for what seemed like FOREVER!!!! The little launch tower was great too especially if you like to fly up through a cloud of bugs. Mmmmmm...bugtastic. That little report makes me want to go back badly now. -

FLIPDUDE's Midwest PTR

For real. I was like ummmmm...is this it? But I personally loved the tour guide, I wanted to give her a hug because I know it can't be easy to keep up her energy level the way she did. Other "top secret" stuff includes, presidents made from robots, aliens, rock monsters and dinosaurs. Here are some pictures from the experience... Hairy Spiders Robotic Presidents Rock Monster Upside Down Rooms The place blows up at the end and we have to run for safety through a fog machine, I'm not joking, that's totally the story -
Ugh! Me too. I tossed and turned all night. I currently ache all over, my throat is sore and I can't stop sweating.

Kings Island Renames Rides

I thought the name change to Congo Falls was pretty stupid anyway. I still always called it Amazon Falls. I hope they change it back. Most likely it will be called Water Deck. -

I thought I posted in this thread already but I guess not. Believe it or not, The Bat was the first roller coaster I ever rode. My dad tricked me onto it saying that it wasn't scary. I was six in 1983 if that tells you anything. I don't remember much but I distinctly remember being scared so bad that I think I blacked out for most of it and at one point thought the ride took me upside-down. I didn't trust my dad for a long time after that when it came to rides. I'm lucky I ever rode another coaster again. He had to force me to ride The Beastie after that and I cried the whole time. I eventually got over it though. That description of Hanna Barbera land makes me sad. I really miss all the Hanna Barbera themed stuff that they had at Kings Island. I totally remember those cartoon character phones. And they had the greatest carousel that had the Hanna Barbera characters on it. I wonder what ever happened to that, it was so awesome. Then there was the Smurf ride. It was great too. I wonder what they did with all the Smurf-themed stuff from that ride too. -

If it still had the Gillette tie-in, they could have called it "Razorburn: Mach 4" Thank you. Thank you. I'll be here all night. -
That's actually a Miley Cyrus song, not a Hannah Montana song Her latest CD had a Hannah CD and a Miley CD. They are releasing songs from the Miley CD for radio play. I'm the first to admit that I LOVE Hannah Montana. I have both of her CD's and a couple of DVD's. Now I'm not gonna pay $400 to see her in concert but I would've gone if I could've gotten tickets for regular price. It's just silly, fun pop and that's why I love it. Sometimes I just want to listen to something fun and not have to think about it. And the show is just cute and something you don't have to invest yourself into that you HAVE to watch every week like Lost or Desperate Housewives. It's good to just get to chuckle at a cheesy joke with no sex or violence or drugs involved. It's in the same line of cheesy shows that everyone loved when I was younger like Full House, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Saved by the Bell and so on and so forth. If you don't like it, don't watch it *shrugs*

My sentiments exactly. I cannot stand him. I laughed when I saw Danny Bonaduce knock his teeth out.

^So far, there's every indication that his death was accidental. You shouldn't speak ill of the dead. The Westboro Church is now planning on picketing his funeral because he was in Brokeback Mountain. Those people are sick.

Congratulations! That's very cool. I read the nominations today and decided I was totally pulling for Juno and Ellen Page, then I read this. Oh, and thanks for adding "pork swords" to my vocabulary

^When combined with prescription sleeping pills, they very well could. A rep from the Ledger family made a statement that he had pneumonia. The police told them that it does seem to be an accidental overdose and there is no indication that it was a suicide. So sad.

I am in total shock right now

I liked the daughter but hated the father, so I didn't want them to win. I was rooting for TK and Rachel. They were the most laid back team I've ever seen. It was funny to see TK get a case of the nerves for the first time through the whole race there at the end.

Me=Jealous. Sounds like everyone had a blast. Too bad the west coast is so far away -
Is this where the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency is located at? I would have been so excited. That show is so trashy but so awesome at the same time. I'd love to go to California some time.

Looks like all kinds of fun. Kristen is super hyper mega-cute as usual. I've never been on a cruise but I hope to one day. Hopefully after this year. And your brother is kinda ummmm... how do I put this...he's kinda hot. I can definitely see the family resemblance -
